I'm trying to build an access point / hotspot with a Raspberry Pi, a wifi dongle and NetworkManager. I know that I can achieve this by just working with hostapd, dnsmasq and ifupdown - I even had it working with this. But I would like to use NetworkManager, as there is a nice Lib I can use to toggle the connections with Python. When reading about Network Manager it says that there are 3 kind of "modes" I can use. "Infrastructure", "ap" and "adhoc" - Infrastracture and "adhoc" are working, but not the ap one, which I need. This is what the Logs are giving me.

What am I doing wrong? I Read that it could be that i need to recompile wpasupplicant - but with this i got some trouble. Any help appreciated.
Problem was that I was trying to do this with an Raspbian (Debian) Wheezy Image, which has an older NetworkManager. With the Jessie Image everything is working like a breeze now.
I could have compiled the newer NetworkManager by myself, but my skill level therefore is not that high ;)

I have a site running on my computer using Apache 2.4 which I can easily access by using my local ipv4 address and respective port 80. The port 80 is bound to port 22*** using portmap.io and is configured with OpenVpn/tcp on my computer.I have allowed access to Apache HTTP server and Apache Server Monitor through the firewall.I have also increased keepAlive timeout in apche server to 600s, max connections.i have Listen 80 and LISTEN 22*** and ServerName as http://awm-22***.portmap.host:22*** in my httpd.conf file.You can look into for more options here.Apache handler configuration
I am using PHP as backend language.
Since the port 80 is bound to port 22470, whenever I try access my site from another device(which also uses the same wifi network as the computer running the server) using the local ipv4 address of my computer(which is running the server) and port 80 i.e
192.168..:80, it automatically redirects the browser to 192.168..:22*** and I can access my site with no difficuty. Access log in apcache server:
192.168.**.** - - [15/Dec/2022:10:08:02 +0530] "GET /abc%20xyz%20klm/ HTTP/1.1" 200 12049

But when I try access the same site from another device(which also uses the same wifi network as the computer running the server) using the ipv4 address provided by OpenVpn to my computer(which is running the server):10.9..* and port 80 i.e 10.9..*:80, it shows TOOK TOO LONG TO RESPPOND error on the browser.But the browser's header has the following:
http://10.9.**.**4:22470/abc%20xyz%20klm/
Then why is it not loading the page. No log in apache access log file.
When I try access the same site from another device(which also uses the same wifi network as the computer running the server) using the url provided to me by portmap.io i.e: http://awm-22***.portmap.host:22***/,
The server takes too long to respond error is shown in the browser.
Access log in apcache server:
10.9.0.1 - - [15/Dec/2022:10:21:33 +0530] "GET / HTTP/1.0" 302 -
10.9.0.1 - - [15/Dec/2022:10:21:34 +0530] "GET /abc%20xyz%20klm HTTP/1.0" 301 256

I've been working on trying to integrate onlyoffice with my working nextcloud app. I've attempted this many times and in many different ways. I believe I understand "most" of the mistakes I've made previously...but there always seems to be one more.
Nextcloud is running on a Ubuntu 22.04 VM. I have another VM operating nginx reverse proxy for this and the other apps I want to expose to the outside. I've decided on this attempt to also run onlyoffice on the nextcloud server but using different ports from that app.
Using the modified template suggested for SSL enabled nginx, when I attempt to start the service, I get:
bonzo#cloud:/etc/nginx/conf.d$ systemctl status nginx.service
nginx.service - A high performance web server and a reverse proxy server
Loaded: loaded (/lib/systemd/system/nginx.service; enabled; vendor preset: enabled)

Aug 05 15:12:02 cloud systemd[1]: Failed to start A high performance web server and a reverse

When I looked at the line 74 in ds-docservice.conf, it shows this:
location / {
proxy_pass http://docservice;
}
And, I'm not exactly sure what it is expecting to see there. I haven't included it in this first post but I'd be happy to share my ds.conf or any other logs/configs that would be required for help with this. I also realize this is probably going to be something silly that I've missed or messed up, I'm still new to nginx and integrating onlyoffice has been a lot more difficult than you'd think, from the literature and yt vids I've seen!
Thanks for any help
BTW, I am trying to install OpenMediaVault on a Raspberry Pi 1, however, whenever I try and install OpenMediaVault on a Raspberry Pi 1, I get problems with the monit package, the FastCGI Process Manager and the openmediavault package too. Here is what happens with the package monit:

Here are the steps I took to set it up.
# Add the following lines to /etc/modules file
lirc_dev
lirc_rpi gpio_in_pin=18 gpio_out_pin=17
# Add the following lines to /etc/lirc/hardware.conf file
LIRCD_ARGS="--uinput --listen"
LOAD_MODULES=true
DRIVER="default"
DEVICE="/dev/lirc0"
MODULES="lirc_rpi"
# Update the following line in /boot/config.txt
dtoverlay=lirc-rpi,gpio_in_pin=18,gpio_out_pin=17
# Update the following lines in /etc/lirc/lirc_options.conf
driver = default
device = /dev/lirc0
$ sudo /etc/init.d/lircd stop
$ sudo /etc/init.d/lircd start
# Check status to make lirc is running
$ sudo /etc/init.d/lircd status
# Reboot before testing
$ reboot
Just run into the same problem. There are two main parts to it:
Part 1: new LIRC config
With the new version on lirc 0.9.0+, the configuration needed is much less:
The driver is already included in the kernel, no need to edit anything in modules
The new config syntax is much different, there's a shell script provided to change an old config to the new one. Run: sudo /usr/share/lirc/lirc-old2new.sh
To summarise, you only need to change the /etc/lirc/lirc_options.conf. In particular, you need to edit the lines to driver = default AND device = /dev/lirc0.
This should solve part 1.
Part 2: new IR drivers
As you can see in the /boot/overlays/README, the LIRC driver is being outdated. There are new ones provided for IR input and output. The driver for IR output is the new gpio-ir-tx. You need to use that instead of lirc-rpi in your /boot/config.txt.
In summary, change dtoverlay=lirc-rpi,gpio_out_pin=17,gpio_in_pin=13 to
dtoverlay=gpio-ir-tx,gpio_pin=17
NOTE the missing _out in the config. This driver only supports output, so no need for an input one. To handle inputs, use the gpio-ir one.

Appreciate your help.
Thanks,

The systemd introduced this TasksMax setting in version 226
You need to check your version SYSTEMD
sudo systemd --version or sudo systemctl --version
If you systemd is old that the above you need to update link to update systemd
https://linoxide.com/linux-how-to/install-systemd-centos-redhat/
Try this: Set the SELINUX variable in the /etc/selinux/config file like follows:
SELINUX = disabled
Then restart MongoDB.
