SugarCRM Upgrade from 7.5.2.3 to 7.6.0.0 - upgrade

SugarCRM does not provide any tools to upgrade from 7.5.2.3 to 7.6.0.0, and I tried to trick their default upgrade package and it didn't take.
What can I do to upgrade from 7.5.2.3 to 7.6.0.0?
Thanks.

Turns out that Sugar is working on 7.6.1.0 to patch some major security issues. They navigated around not allowing this upgrade.
But 7.5.2.3 can upgrade to 7.6.1.0 around mid to late August 2015.

How to upgrade Julia to v0.5.0?

now that they release v0.5.0 the question is how can I upgrade from 0.4.6 to 0.5.0 without loosing all my packages? is there even a way. Or if there is no easy way, how have people done it? What is the best way to do it?
Other question is, is it worth it or do I need to upgrade? What are the benefits or why I should not upgrade (yet)? Is there problems with Atom and other packages?
Yes there is quest same question already, but it is for older version and I thought if something has changed on upgrading.
You can go into your .julia/v0.4 folder and copy the REQUIRE file to the v0.5 folder. Then when you Pkg.update() your packages should automatically install.
There are very many upgrades (broadcast syntax, arraypoclypse, string changes, etc.), and many packages may stop supporting v0.4 for this reason. I would recommend you start upgrading soon. Juno has already released its v0.5 version, so when you update it should be compatible.

how to upgrade typo3 7.6.0 to typo3 7.6.1?

there is an upgrade to version 7.6.1.
We fixed a lot of bugs Version 7.6.0
in install toll, Upgrade Wizard :
No updates to perform!
That update is a patch level update, they usually don't require any upgrade wizards (there are exceptions, check the release notes).
To do the update, just replace the old TYPO3 core with the new one (easy thing when using symlinks), and then clear all caches from the install tool. If you are using symlinks to include the core, the install tool can do this for you. There is a button for it.
If you have modified the TYPO3 core, those changes will be lost. Better provide the fixes to the TYPO3 community, the various contribution walkthrough tuturials give you details.

Update from TYPO3 v4.5.0 to v4.5.22

Short & Simple question:
I'm currently at a customer who got TYPO3 v 4.5.0 up and running. Can I now update to v4.5.22 directly?
Thanks for your help :)
Here can you find important upgrading instructions: http://wiki.typo3.org/Upgrade
Yes, in this situation you can do that without upgrading version by version.
You should always check the release notes of each version on http://wiki.typo3.org.

Typo3 installation on PHP4

Does anybody know if it's possible to install Typo3 on PHP4? I've looked up the packages-page, but i haven't found anything yet.
Many thanks in regards!
No, it's not possible to install any recent versions. TYPO3 4.6 requires PHP 5.3+ and even TYPO3 4.4 requires PHP 5.2+. Some older versions obviously used to run on PHP 4 but all versions prior to TYPO3 4.4 are outdated, not maintained and insecure.
You do not want PHP4! ;-) a bit sarcastic, but please change your mind / your boss's mind! It's out of support since ages and basically sucks.
I'm sorry, it's not. The system requirements for the latest version state PHP5:

Vignette V8 Upgrade

Vignette upgrades are usually not straightforward. You basically have to do a new installation and migrate over all of your customizations etc. Does anyone know if the upcoming V8 version is easier to upgrade or if its easier to upgrade from a certain previous version compared to earlier version. So I can upgrade to an earlier version (say 7.6) and then hopefully its easier?
Vignette v8 is officially not out yet, its only been soft released to some selected clients. My guess is that the upgrade will not be very straightforward but I've no concrete information on that.
During the wait you might also be interested in an open source alternative of Vignette v8 freely available: Sense/Net 6.0 http://blog.sensenet.hu/post/2009/08/05/An-Open-Source-Alternative-for-Vignette-v8.aspx
I have finally found the answer. You do need to upgrade to 7.6 before upgrading to 8.0 from an earlier version.
