Web Services not executing properly on Tomcat and Eclipse - eclipse

I am trying to create a Web Service that converts temperature from C to F. I followed a basic tutorial that is :
http://crunchify.com/how-to-build-restful-service-with-java-using-jax-rs-and-jersey/
I have followed the same steps that the post suggests and I am running the project using apache Tomcat v7. However, the output does not show up the way the tutorial says it should. When I run my project I get an error that says HTTP Status 404 - /RestJerseyExample/ ; The resource is not available. I am new to this and I don't understand where I may be going wrong. I am working on Windows 7. Suggestions much appreciated!
here is my web.xml :
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><web-app xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"xmlns="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee" xmlns:web="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee/web-app_2_5.xsd"

You didn't register your resources. You should add in your <servlet></servlet> configuration in the web.xml:

</init-param>

And try this following URL:
http://localhost:8080/crunchify/

Web service maven build jar does not work

I would like to build a web service project in jar which can be deployed on a JBoss server. This can be done if I compile a .war project, which makes 12Mo with this content
but in my pom.xml when I want to specify that I would like a .jar project I get an archive which makes 10Ko and which contains almost nothing like this picture
Here's my pom.xml file
<project xmlns="http://maven.apache.org/POM/4.0.0" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
xsi:schemaLocation="http://maven.apache.org/POM/4.0.0 http://maven.apache.org/xsd/maven-4.0.0.xsd">
<modelVersion>4.0.0</modelVersion>
<groupId>MonWebServiceFacility</groupId>
<artifactId>MonWebServiceFacility</artifactId>
<version>0.0.1-SNAPSHOT</version>
<!--<packaging>war</packaging>-->
<build>
<sourceDirectory>src</sourceDirectory>
<plugins>
<plugin>
<artifactId>maven-compiler-plugin</artifactId>
<version>3.5.1</version>
<configuration>
<source>1.7</source>
<target>1.7</target>
</configuration>
</plugin>
</plugins>
</build>
<properties>
<cxf.version>3.1.7</cxf.version>
</properties>
<dependencies>
...SOME DEPENENCIES...
</dependencies>
So how can I build jar archive to be deployed in my JBoss server ?
Here's my project architecture :
you need to use <packaging>jar</packaging> in pom.xml and also need to create web.xml into webaap>WEB_INF folder.
<servlet>

localhost:8081/berszamfejto-ear
localhost:8081/berszamfejto-web-1.0
localhost:8081/berszamfejto-ear-1.0
and following logical names...
I think I use maven wrong because without it I found the url and the war works well. I'm sure that port number 8081 is good and I can login into administration console and deploy my ear.
Here is the end of log of deploying:

Condition
1.resteasy 3.0.4.Final

Action
I got war package into tomcat7(window x64) webapps and server run normally.
Visit http://localhost:8080/test-resteasy/rest/message/hello, and browser print "Restful example : hello".
But when I maven build tomcat7:run tomcat7-maven-plugin in eclipse,visit the same url throws:

Conjecture
I think of source code is correct, because of run war package in single tomcat 7 server successful. Maybe lack of some dependencies in pom.xml.
Thanks!
Really long post to analyze each POM dependency....but why don't you give a try to compile maven in this way, suggested by official resteasy team?
mvn clean install
mvn jetty:run

java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: javax.servlet.jsp.el.ImplicitObjectELResolver$ImplicitObjects$6
This indicates a classpath problem related to the JSP API (javax.servlet.jsp.*).
And indeed, you've the below dependency:
<!-- JSP Library -->
<dependency>
<groupId>javax.servlet.jsp</groupId>
<artifactId>javax.servlet.jsp-api</artifactId>
<version>2.3.1</version>
</dependency>
Get rid of it. Or at least set <scope>provided</scope> on it as you correctly did for the Servlet API dependency. Tomcat as being a JSP/Servlet container already ships with it out the box which is clearly of a different version than the one you tried to bundle along with the webapp.
You're not supposed to ship any libraries along with the webapp which are already provided by the target runtime itself. It would only result in conflicts in the runtime classpath because of duplicate different versioned classes colliding each other.
A dubious alternative would be to fix and align the version, but this is a terribly bad idea as your webapp would be unportable to other servletcontainers using a different JSP/Servlet API version under the covers.

ApplicationContext.xml cannot be found when starting Tomcat server

I searched more questions about this issue on SO e.g putting applicationContext to WEB-INF/classes or src/resources add WEB-INF to build path but none of them seems to work
Im using maven to buil my Java EE project and always gat
java.io.FileNotFoundException: Could not open ServletContext resource [/WEB-INF/applicationContext.xml]
Heres my web.xml

I got the same error. I solved it moving the file applicationContext.xmlin a sub-folder of the srcfolder. e.g:
context = newClassPathXmlApplicationContext("/com/example/rawfile/applicationContext.xml")
