Unable to deploy Twitter Loader app to bluemix - ibm-cloud

Following the youtube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ANakSSGM4zU
When clicked Deploy to Bluemix for Twitter-Loader service. It only completes first step i.e. Create project. It does not complete rest of the steps. It is stuck on Cloning repository.
It says Something went wrong! Application deployment to bluemix is taking longer than expected.

I have experienced this myself a few times and it always turned out to be some temporary issue in Bluemix or DevOps services for Bluemix. Unfortunately for now the only recommendation is to rerun the deployment again. If the problem continues through tomorrow then please let me know here.

Azure Devops App Service Deploy Task Not Work Suddenly

I use [Azure App Service deploy] task in Azure Devops pipeline to deploy the artifact to an Azure App service.
Everything worked well before but today it not work suddenly. It failed when i tried to deploy the artifact to the production slot (the slot marked production). But when i tested to deploy to deployment slots, it worked well.
I just got an error message that has no much detail in the log
Cleaning up temp folders from previous zip deployments and extracting pushed zip file C:\local\Temp\zipdeploy\534hsvxr.zip (80.94 MB) to C:\local\Temp\zipdeploy\extracted
[error]Failed to deploy web package to App Service.
[error]Error: Package deployment using ZIP Deploy failed. Refer logs for more details.
Anyone got the same issue before?
Thanks
It seems to be a source control issue. Just try going to the App Service Deployment Center blade and click "Disconnect" to disconnect your deployment. And then try to deploy it again.

"Site has not yet been deployed" after netlify deployment

I already tried a million times and not able to figure out where I am going wrong. I tried simple static website repo. I even added parcel bundler. I just get same error message.
I even forked netlify's own demo repo. And I got same message. Why I am not able to deploy the site?
I looked at forums, blogs and even answer in this forum and I am not finding clue to this exact message. I didn't have netlify.toml file. I added that file too and I don't see any change in deployment status.
Initially I was trying to just create site online by connecting to GitHub repo. When I tried Netlify-CLI I could see some deploy action happen. But server was not render. Found a guide here: https://github.com/Tanu-N-Prabhu/Multiplication-Table-App
Followed last 3 steps under Deployment section:
Go to your Netlify Dashboard to the project. Click on Site has not yet been Deployed. Again click on Deploy Preview this will unlock the Preview Deploy which is a temporary URL.
After viewing the Preview, click on Publish deploy option to deploy your project.
Now your project is live and deployed on the internet.
These steps worked. But Javascript files were not rendering. I wonder why the whole process is so cumbersome when they advertise everything is taken care by Netlify automatically? There is no document for Site has not yet been deployed on their site and google search only leads me to Page not found forum page.
You must add the --prod.
The command should look like this: netlify deploy --prod.
This fixed it for me.

Automation Github with GCP

So I need to make automation on nodejs application on GCP.
The idea is, I need to deploy the web app (nodejs) with cloud run but every time a developer
did push on Github the image should be rebuild and deployed automatically. The constraint is that I need to use webhooks to send me notification that a push is done.
Can some of you give me some directions or steps how to make this work?
It might be worth to try Cloud Build.
There is possibility to build with node.js (Node.js Build).
There is possibility to deploy in Cloud Run (Deploy with Cloud Run).
Finally there is a possibility to setup trigger on GitHub push (GitHub triggers).
I think that even this webhook constraint is not needed in this case... However there is push notification feature as well.

Azure Function deployed successfully, but not working

I am facing a weird problem. I deployed my code using Azure DevOps Pipeline Release - it ran successfully, however, the code is not reflecting in Azure Function App.
Here is what I am doing:
Created a Release pipeline with a "Deploy Azure App Service" task. It picks up artifacts from a build pipeline and is configured to deploy to a Function App using Service Connection
When the Release pipeline is triggered it runs through all its steps, and I get a success (see logs below)
However, when I open up Azure portal and navigate to the Function App, it continues to say "Now it is time to add your code" on the Overview tab, and I am not able to hit my API on that Function App
Surprisingly, On the Deployment Center tab of the Function App, it does show the details of the deployment (See details below)
I can also find the deployed zip file under D:\home\site\wwwroot when I log on to the Kudu console
Deployment logs:
Got service connection details for Azure App Service:'myFuncApp'
Updating App Service Application settings. Data: {"WEBSITE_RUN_FROM_PACKAGE":"1"}
Updated App Service Application settings and Kudu Application settings.
Package deployment using ZIP Deploy initiated.
Successfully deployed web package to App Service.
App Service Application URL: http://myFuncApp.azurewebsites.net
View on Function App Deployment Center Tab:
Deployed Successfully to production
Source Version 6d9c8340ba Build 20190411.1 Release: 3
The Function App endpoint is working, (throwing a generic welcome page) confirming the Function App itself is healthy, but I am not able to access my API.
Additional updates
Here is the structure of the .zip file that is being uploaded to d:\home\data\SitePackages as a part of the zip deploy from Azure Pipelines:
/host.json
/package.json
/proxies.json
/package-lock.json
/func_name/index.js
/func_name/function.json
/node_modules/**
The same code is working locally.
Note: When I go to the Deployment Center tab, I do see this error message, but I think this is related to Continuous deployment through Function App
We were unable to connect to the Azure Pipeline that is connected to this Web App. This could mean it has been removed from the Azure Dev Ops Portal. If this has happened, you can disconnect this pipeline and set up a new deployment pipeline.
Please help me. What can be going wrong?
I was finally able to troubleshoot. #4c74356b41 pointed me in the right direction as the key issue was the package.
Below was the issue:
I had added an archive step in the build pipeline. This was causing the artifact to be zipped before publish
In the release pipeline I was using Azure App Service Deploy task. This internally uses Zip Deploy where App type is set to Azure Functions. Thus, it was zipping my zipped file.
When I remove the archive step, the double zipping was avoided, and it started working.

Heroku issue with the GitHub token with Github deployment method

Why am I getting this error message for my apps deployed with Github at Heroku?
There is an issue with the GitHub token for this app. Disconnect and reconnect to restore functionality
We had the same issue before, it happened with private repositories and disconnecting/reconnecting from time to time seems to do the trick but after a while we started to grow and we needed more automation.
We looked into all kinds of CI/CD tools like Codeship, CircleCi, etc. Ended up choosing DeployBot and stuck with it because it works really well for us and fitted our needs best.
Either way these tools can be lifesavers for the team no matter which one you end up using
