Im using Windows 7-64bit.I'm creating a model in NetLogo that needs an approx 500x500 world. So I'm going to need a lot of memory .I need to increase the memory limit .Can somebody please help me? Thank you.

Is there a simple explanation for dummies like me? I know that there's a source code of Leela, I've heard that it uses neural networks with MCTS (plus UCT), but there are lot of hard things remaining. Do I need to train Leela myself by running it? Or do I need to download something from Internet? (so-called trained data?) If so, do I need constantly update this data? Does it play stronger with every game?

I have thought about working with TIA Portal a lot recently.
My eyes are still good, but I can feel the stress when working with TIA.
This question is here to discuss the pro's and con's of different methods to improve working with TIA and care for ones eyes.
My Notebook has a full-HD screen with 17 Inches.
If I work with TIA, I do not just have the TIA open, but need a variety of other applications, like Browser, Excel, specialized tools, PDF-Reader.......
The operating system is Windows 10.
At the moment I decided, to reduce the screen resolution so all texts within TIA are comfortably readable.
The big disadvantage are applications, that are designed for higher resolutions.
I can't change the resolution based on the application in focus.
If there would only be an option within TIA, but I can't find one.
Any thoughts about improving the situation are highly appreciated to keep peoples eyes healthy.
A few ideas:
Use the display scaling in Windows 10 instead of changing the resolution. You can find it at Settings > System > Display. (see this answer as well)
I use a second 24" display for the programming work in the office, which is about 80% of the time.
Hi we are trying to find out what are the minimal requirements for a graph to be able to solve the hanoi problem.
Where the vertex are the pegs, and each edge represent a possible movement from one peg to another.
So basicly its Hanoi problem with restrictions that tell us what are our possible moves.
There can be any number of pegs and any number of discs.
So far we found that we need a strongly connected graph. but there is no explanation why.
If anyone can shed some light on the subject it will be appreciated, thank you!
There's so many cool ideas out there (ninject, automapper, specflow, etc) that look like they would help but I don't want to add something, tell others about it, and try using it just for it to be added to the growing heap of ideas that didn't quite work out. How can I determine if the promised benefits will happen and that it won't end up as something to be ignored or worked around?
Have a problem
Identify the cost of having the problem, or the value to solving it
Prioritize it against other problems
When it's the top priority, look for a solution that solves the problem with a proportional cost
Do you have the problem that ninject solves? Is it an important problem to solve? Is it the most important? What value will you get from solving it?
I don't think that you can tell whether any framework will deliver your expectations until you try it, and try it in anger and in context. This is usually time consuming and inevitably you'll have a few misses before you get any hits. Don't commit yourself by working through a simple sample from the authors website or howto files; these will always work and may impress but until you try to use the framework in the context of your billion user, multi-lingual, real-time on- and off- line application you're not going to find it's shortcomings.
I have a small UIImage (jpg) with a single typed number. I want to be able to read the number with some kind of pattern recognition. I'm really not sure where to start, so any help would be appreciated.
my initial idea was to compare this image with other images. For instance compare the image with that of a 1,2,3, etc until a match was found. That just seems slow and cumbersome and wondered if there was a better way to do it?

Still not exactly easy tho, and i'm not sure about licensing, so… you don't mention why you need to do this (sounds a little odd).
Maybe you can avoid it? If you know the images are numerical digits 0-9, is there another way to track which one a particalur images is, apart from the way it's pixels are arranged?

It is a simple tutorial on doing number recognition and comes with the source code also.
Additionally, you may want to do a search on OCR SDK (Optical Character Recognition Software Development Kit). You will surely find a stack of them. Commercial ones a pricey though.
I would go for a "role your own" approach along the line of the OpenCV tutorial, especially since you are only interested in numbers.
