Outlook ignoring reply-to address on auto-responder - email

We got the following situation: On our websites we got forms, which when sending use as sender a static eMail-address, so the form won't land in spam at the customer, if the eMail-address is not valid.
So now we have set the from-addres to a no-reply#example.org and the reply-to-address to the address, which the person inserted, when completing the form.
When replying in Outlook directly, it works perfectly and outlook replies to the reply-to-address. But when we enable the out-of-office auto-reply, it replies directly to the from-address, means that it completely ignores the reply-to-address.
Is there any workaround or a solution, how this can be fixed?
EDIT:
We are using the installed Outlook client, not the OWA. And the eMail-Address, which auto-replies is an O365 Exchange Address

Email succesfully sent but not appear in Sent Items (Microsoft 365)

Hi Good day to everyone here.
My first questions, here we go but i'll try to explain it the best way I could.
I develop auto sending email features using javaxmail in my application for my customer.
Previously when using setting smtp.office365.com I able to send email and the copies of sent email are display in Sent Items folder.
Recently when there are hiccup with smtp office (time out frequently), the IT department at my customer change the setting to use local server instead for smtp (with ip address 172.162.etc.etc). However since the start using this new setting, the email no longer appear in Sent Items but the email still able to sent out ( I test sending email to myself and able to received it ).
Since Im not really familiar and have very limited knowledge on server side for mail server, is there anything I can suggest to the IT department to check for? I only can login the email account on web (https://outlook.office.com/mail/) but when using outlook it required authentication. With web mail i already go thru all settings available and didn't see anything related.

Well, of course - your local SMTP server knows absolutely nothing about your remote Exchange mailbox. It cannot possibly place anything in your Sent Items folder.
You need to send using your Exchange Server - its SMTP server does place sent messages in the Sent Items folder owned by the authenticated user. Keep in mind that MS has recently disabled basic auth in M365. You need to re-enable it for your tenant and the particular mailbox used to send messages.

How does an SMTP server resolve ambiguity?

Suppose I own an email 'demo#gmail.com'. Now, I create a new Microsoft account using my existing email. Thus I get another email 'demo#gmail.com', but this one is served by Microsoft.
So the situation is: one email and two providers.
If I send a hello email to 'demo#gmail.com' using my personal SMTP server, to which of the above will it send: will it send to the one hosted by Microsoft or the one hosted by Google?
How does it solve such an ambiguity? What are the factors that influence this?
This is a very common problem because many providers are giving us an option to create a new account using our existing email.
My observations:
I saw the emails inside the inboxes of both the services. I found that they had completely different emails.
There was no email which was common to both the inboxes. So there must be some mechanism to deal with it.
Let us look at the problem the other way round: If I had an email 'demo#outlook.com' initially and I created a new Google Account with this email address, then:
An email sent to this email address from another gmail account goes to the Google's server. An email sent to this email address from an Outlook also goes to the Google's servers.
There are two different ways of looking up an email. The 'normal' way:
You send an email to an server, in this example gmail.com.
Your mail delivery agent looks for mx record of gmail.comand send it to the ip-address of gmail.com.
If an email is delivered locally by the domain outlook.com it perhaps doesn't lookup the mx record, but lookups in a local database if the email-address exist there, and sends it to the ip-address of the outlook.com.
I think in the inbox of outlook.com are only microsoft emails.

Wordpress: Contact Form 7 accepts one email address but not another

I've been using Contact Form 7 in Wordpress without too many problems. In a current installation, I can send mail to webmaster#domain.com but get an error when trying to send mail to user1#domain.com. I've checked this Stack Overflow ticket:

But enabling the SMTP mail plugin doesn't modify the behavior of the bug, and the mail server is not external (like the ticket in question). Any idea what the issue might be? Thanks!
EDIT: user#domain.com is a valid email address and also succeeds when running it against open source online email checkers.
Kind of a hack, but I had this happen to me when I tried to have the emails sent outside of the domain to a gmail account. I ended up adding CC: youremail#gmail.com to the Additional Headers and it worked well afterwards.

Email client detection

I have a project to send some email to end clients. My client need to know what exactly "Email Client" they use to read the mail. I know a hidden can get the open event and even the user agent they use, so by parsing user agent i can get most email clients info.
But it's hard to detect some popular web mail clients like "Gmail", "Hotmail" and "Yahoo mail". Because user agent return is only the browser user agent string.

You will not be able to perfectly detect the e-mail client your users are using.
In E-Mail headers some programs choose to include the X-Mailer tag, which tells you exactly with what program and version your user is sending the e-mail - of course that can be faked. Not all programs use the X-Mailer tag, I e.g. couldn't find it in a mail sent with Microsoft Outlook 2010.
Besides that you could do some guesswork by the Received from tag in the e-mail headers, but in the end you can use SMTP and POP3 with most webmailers like GMail or Yahoo. That means even though your e-mail is sent via servers from google.com, the originating client could still be Outlook or Thunderbird and not GMail itself.
Maybe we can help you if you better if you could tell us why exactly your client wants to know the programs the users use to read their mail? Probably to tune the appearance of newsletters?
I know this is a really old topic, but the most reliable way to detect webmail client for gmail, hotmail, outlook.com and office365 is to use a tracking pixel. What you will want to do is geo-locate the IP address and you'll find gmail all comes from mountain-view and microsoft based products from redmond.
I haven't validated this with non-US users, but I'd imagine the caching services they use will all be in the same place.

Detecting outlook 2007 client in email

Is it possible to detect the email client in an html message? Specifically outlook 2007

My users have access to an online system that really has nothing to do with email, but in this system they can all communicate with themselves.
My app - takes messages from this system, and then sends it via an email instead.
Now I need a reply to function. Obviously its not a normal email address so...
I want a way to intercept this message, and send it via another channel.
I could write the outlook plug to check EVERY SINGLE out going email address, but this surely can't be the way we're expected to work with email.
It would be much easier to have a button in the email itself which can call an outlook function (custom) and then pass control to this function.

Thanks guys for your answer, but there is a little more complexity. The online system contains fields, these fields need to be completed by the user before sending the reply. So I need some kind of form (yes with working check boxes, etc in there). This should all be in the email message.
Essentially what you'll need to do is set up an automated process that monitors a particular email address, and set that address as the reply-to in your outgoing email. When a message comes in, you can do whatever analysis you need to (examining the from, subject, etc.) and process the content however you see fit.
"Detect" using what? Javascript does not work in email. CSS stylesheets don't either - so no CSS hacks.
Have you tried to change the Reply-To header in the email to the direction that you want?
