Unity3D v4.6.9 game doesn't run on iOS8 with xCode7 - unity3d

When we try running the game we see our splash screen and then we are getting the error Thread1:EXC_BAD_ACCESS code=1
at
il2cpp::icalls::mscorlib::System::String::RedirectToCreateString:
It happens before any of our c# code gets executed - before Awake().
It does run properly on iOS9.
We have tried it on Unity4.6.9 and on Unity4.6.9p3.
We have managed to build and run it for iOS8 only from Unity4.6.6 with xCode6.4. But we do need iOS9.
We can't find any references to this issue on the web, any help will be greatly appreciated.

Edited:
We have tried it from Unity5.2.3 too, no luck.
Another factor you should probably know is that before we run into the issue described above, we have edited the 'Run Debug' scheme of our product in xCode and disabled the 'GPU Frame Capture' because we had a different issue that prevented us from running our game on iOS8.
Here is the link we followed.
And here is a screen shot of our original issue:
We are really stuck here, hope you can help.

Are you sure that this Unity project is using the mscorlib.dll assembly from the Unity version of Mono? It looks like it may not be.
The RedirectToCreateString icall should never actually be executed, as the Mono mscorlib assembly used in Unity build strings via a single CreateString method. When this happens it usually means the moscorlib.dll version is out of sync with the IL2CPP runtime.
I'm not sure why this is happening, but it might be worth trying 4.6.9p3 with an empty (or simple) project to note the difference.

Its a replay for Josh Peterson, I could not replay with an image in a comment to his answer.
I was looking for the mscorlib.dll in my project but couldn't find one, so I looked in an old project and did find it. Here is an image of the file system of both projects.
Any way I don't know the origin of the file, I didn't manually played with it.
I have tried now to copy the mscorlib.dll from the old project to the new with no luck.
Any way my company decided to stop this investigation now and jump to the latest Unity 5.
Hope we will have more luck over there.
Thank you again.

Unity Error Occurred While Resolving Packages And Game Mode Doesn't Work Suddenly

I never ran into this problem before while building unity projects.
[1] Yesterday, I decided to update my unity hub to newer version, and now all of a sudden,
I keep getting this error and my packages are not loading into the editor workspace.
[2] Additionally, anytime I try and enter into game mode unity will suddenly stop and bounce me back to editor mode (never happened before). I am very lost why this is happening, and even my past projects that worked fine seem to be affected as well. Cannot run them within unity now. :(
All help is greatly appreciated!
-So far I have been just looking to make sure my unity apps are in the folder of that address - and they are, looking for direction.
It would be easier to help you if you include the exact error message in your question.
I assume it is this:
Cannot fetch authorization code. User access token is expired or invalid. You may need to sign out and sign in again. [Unknown].
UnityEditor.EditorApplication:Internal_CallUpdateFunctions ()
If so, log out in Hub and log in again. This happens either when updating Unity Hub or with bigger Windows updates for me.

Raspberry Pi3 Retropie : .lutro files for Mame2003 libretro aren't working

Hello everybody!
I'm currently trying to launch .lutro files (ROMs for Mame2003 Libretro). Unfortunately it doesn't work, here's what happens when the ROM is launched :
1- ROM seems at first to launch normally
2- The screen goes black for about 1 second
3- And we go back to the menu where Mame2003 Libretro games are
What is the most annoying thing about this issue is that my final goal isn't even to simply launch a .lutro ROM but a game developped by classmates... But first I need to solve this problem.
I saw a forum online talking about something called "Rewind". Apparently the issue would be related to the game who would be unable to have "savestates" and in order to solve that, we would apparently need to delete a file called nvram.
And here we stumble against another issue... The nvram file maybe is (I still haven't checked) inside the offical .lutro ROMs. But I can assure all of you that there is no nvram files inside the game developped by my classmates, and our game has exactly the same issue as the official .lutro ROMs. So here we go back to the beginning. Maybe the issue is directly in Retropie. Maybe not. I really do not have any way to know that.
That's why I hope that someone who reads this stumbled into the same issue and found a solution.
.lutro files are meant to be launched with libretro-lutro which is a love2d-like game engine, not MAME2003.

Unity machine learning using internal brain for pre-trained networks results in crash

I try to get the machine learning project of Unity running. The project can be found here: https://github.com/Unity-Technologies/ml-agents
Following all the necessary steps to set everything up, everything works fine until I try to use a pre-trained model in an internal brain, e.g in the 3D-Ball example. On pressing play in the editor, it says to have stopped working and the editor crashes. Same goes for a successfully compiled executable.
Since I can't find any crash logs, I absolutely don't know what's the cause to this. Anybody had the same issue and solved it, or any ideas on this?
I'll just add the steps I made to set my project up, in case somebody wants to reproduce or check for mistakes I made:
Download zipped project from github
Open project with Unity 2018.1.1f1
Add ENABLE_TENSORFLOW to predefined symbols
Download and install TensorflowSharp Plugin
In the 3DBall Scene select the brain and switch BrainType to Internal
Run in editor or compile and run, results both times in a crash
EDIT
What's making me wonder is that I got it working just fine training an external brain in python using a compiled executable. So my thoughts were it should be much more easy to just forward pass a trained net, if it's working doing forward pass and back propagation. But it says though that external brain still is experimental, so not sure if that just will not work until some future patches.
EDIT 2
So I tried using an internal brain in an older version of the githubs project, which then worked quite fine. Also I used an older version of the TensforflowSharp Plugin. I'll try to figure out, which version still works and gonna post my results here ;)
To conclude, the problem was actually the recent version of the TensorflowSharp Plugin. Using an older version, which I found somewhere worked fine. I don't have the link to that version anymore, but in case someone experiences the exact same problem, I could search for it or upload it somewhere.

I have a script I'm trying to put on the character but it won't let me?

Alright, so I'm working in Unity for a class and I'm doing the 3D Survival Shooter tutorial. I just finished making the Player Movement script and I'm trying to test it out, but when I press the play button, it says "All compiler errors have to be fixed before you can enter playmode!"
I was looking at the bottom and saw in the console that the error I have says: "Assets/_Complete-Game/MobileInput/Scripts/MobileControlRig.cs(12,29): error CS0234: The type or namespace name 'IActiveBuildTargetChanged' does not exist in the namespace 'UnityEditor.Build'. Are you missing an assembly reference?"
I've never used Unity before, so I have no idea what to do. Can anyone help me figure this out?
Things to note: I'm using Unity 5.6.0f3 Personal, and my computer's on Windows 7 (it's a school computer so we can't update them).
IActiveBuildTargetChanged is not available. That's causing the error.
You are using Unity 5.6.0f3 but IActiveBuildTargetChanged was added in Unity 2017.1. You need to download Unity 2017.1 or version above this in order to follow this tutorial.
Alright, thanks to the commenter who linked me to a Unity Forums website.
What I got from it was you can avoid having that error by going in the script and deleting the lines "#if UNITY_EDITOR , UnityEditor.Build.IActiveBuildTargetChanged #endif:".
And if it happens in any of the other scripts, just delete it from them too.
Thanks for your help, everyone!

Xcode won't build to device

This problem has been KILLING me. I've been working on this app for 8 Months, and I am so close to finishing, I just can't seem to build for device. Building for the simulator works fine, but device always gives me the SAME 2 errors.
The 1st Error:
"Instruction requires a CPU feature not currently enabled"
From googling, I've found this probably means I'm not linking a binary I should be, but I'm not sure.
The 2nd Error:
If you can't read it, it says: Generating JWFNS.app.dSYM ... error: unable to open executable '/Users/ajr1188/Library/Developer/Xcode/DerivedData/JWFNS-azshgysfabycfagnebotitpcyaww/Build/Products/Debug-iphoneos/JWFNS.app/JWFNS'
This is the big one. I cannot seem to build the .app.dSYM file properly. I went in and deleted the build folder, I looked at EVERY stackoverflow question I could find and tried changing any random thing mentioned in another question, but all of it is to no avail. I'm so suck right now. AHH. PLEASE. Any help would be so appreciated!
Maybe your project has become hopelessly corrupted. One thing to try is to start a brand new project and copy/import all your sources/assets into the new project to see if that fixes the problem.
Another less nuclear (but perhaps more time consuming) approach is to binary search the build. Exclude absolutely everything except main.m and see if that fixes the problem. If it does, include half your sources, and buid again....repeat, trying to narrow in on the problem spot. Maybe a file or group of files has received special build settings that don't belong there.
I've had very similar problems, I cant remember the exact error message but it was very similar. Are you able to make a new project that will run on your device?
if so (and I know this sounds bad but it's worth a try) Create a new project and simply copy all the code and resources across and see if it still works. If it doesn't then there is something wrong with you code and you can continue trying to isolate the problem from there.
Hope this is helpful.
check the frameworks you link to. there's a chance that you linked a framework (say quartz) of osx, instead of ios.
Answering in detail is probably going to take looking at your target settings. But it looks like you may be building for the wrong architecture. (It doesn't link, so there is no .dSYM symbol file.) For example, if you have only recently built for device, you probably created your project under an older Xcode, and it may not have the arm6/arm7 settings right.
To check, show the Build Settings for your target (not the project), and filter on Architecture.
Make sure that in build settings the architectures are armv6 and armv7. Also make sure that in .plist file, the "Application requires iPhone environment" is TRUE. Delete "Required device capabilities" in the .plist if present.
