Bluemix service "Connect & Compose" is down for few days now.
Will this service be available soon ?
I am able (right now) to create, open, edit and save with "Connect & Compose" in US region. It seems the service works normally now.
Currently the 'Connect and Compose' down in all three regions (a beta version is still working for the development team). You can check the status of the Bluemix platform and its services here: https://status.ng.bluemix.net/

While am creating openshift project in my eclipse(luna and openshift 3) its showing
"Unable to retrieve the authentication details
org.apache.http.conn.HttpHostConnectException while trying to get an authorization context for server https://console.preview.openshift.com"
Any one help me out?
That URL was used for the OpenShift 3 Developer Preview that was replaced by OpenShift Online Starter and OpenShift Online Pro.
You will instead need to use the console URL for the region that you're provisioned in.
For Starter, it will be one of
https://console.starter-us-west-1.openshift.com
https://console.starter-us-west-2.openshift.com
https://console.starter-us-east-1.openshift.com
https://console.starter-us-east-2.openshift.com
https://console.starter-ca-central-1.openshift.com
For Pro right now, there is only
https://console.pro-us-east-1.openshift.com
I have a BlueMix application using NodeRed and I want to sign up for the ElephantSQL service so I can store some tabular data, but when I browse to the service in the catalog I don't see any option to sign up. The only thing that is close is an option "connect to" which allows me to select one of my applications. However, selecting my target application does not sign me up for the service and when I browse back to the service I see it has forgotten my selection.
I understand and that is definitely the cause of the issue. Please open ticket with Bluemix Support so we can look into your account and resolve this issue:

I have created an app on CIO bluemix platform under my org. Then I added cloudant DB dedicated service and did a bind of the service with the app. The hello world Node JS starter works for the app. However, when I try to connect to the cloudant db by extending the starter app downloaded as the starter kit and cloud foundry cli, then it give 'connect ECONNREFUSED ' error. I have used the proper credentials. I also tried to launch the db using the web console that comes by clicking on the cloudant service icon, but it times out. Can you suggest what could be the issue? Thanks.
You need to take the hostname in your cloduant credentials file and add to your PC's host file:
windows sample:
9.45.69.22 23199ddc-775f-4ca5-91aa-XXXXXXXXXXXXXX-bluemix.cloudant.com # DEV MOOC
I'm trying to use new Connect & Compose service on Bluemix. Compose seems to work all right, but when I choose DB in "Connect", and then tried to proceed vi "Next" button. But I got "Failed to fetch list of bluemix services" error message. See the screenshot below.
Failed to fetch list of bluemix services
Is there any prerequisite setting or some issues with my space ? (I suspect the later, since I have multiple services in my spaces).
Thanks in advance !
I've just tried to use the Connect & Compose service on Bluemix and I managed to connect to a SQL Database instance previously bound to an application. I have many services in my space, too. Probably you're right, there is a problem with your space, I suggest you to open a ticket to Bluemix Technical Support. Please note that this is a new BETA service. Refer to Bluemix - Getting customer support for further information.
We have been using Google for Work for years now and have a domain setup thru godaddy. We got it so we would have a descent email server without having to worry about it. I then signed up for the Google Developers Console to expand the options we have available and move our local apache/php business software to the cloud. I correctly setup a project with a lamp instance which also works great.
Problem is I cant add projects thru the
https://console.developers.google.com/project?authuser=0
it returns
Error Developers Console has not been activated for your account.
Your account may be suspended or disabled. If you are a Google Apps
user, ask your domain administrator to enable Apphosting Admin on your
account.
But from here I can add new projects
https://code.google.com/apis/console
If I goto the Google for Work console App Engine apps it says
No services have been installed.
Add services to your domain
I click the link to add the service
and goto the Other Services
Google App Engine Provide existing Google App Engine services to your
users.
Enter App ID:*
What is the App ID? I have already authorized the domain we are using for the services.
If I goto Google for Work Domain admin and try to add the other domain we have it says
We are sorry, but you do not have access to Webmaster tool. Please log
in to your Admin Console to enable Webmaster tool. Learn more
Its also adding the domain name to the Project ID: which causes this error in the SDK console
:\Program Files\Google\Cloud SDK>gcloud compute ssh
example.com:api-project-??????? --zone us-central1-a ERROR:

Im really confused
Go to admin.google.com, login with our organisation account, go to Apps -> Additional Google Services -> Enable the services you need.
