I’ve been looking for a chat API supports Swift.
I checked their github repo and the SDK seems to be written in Objective-C.
Not sure it’s compatible with Swift. Has any one tried SendBird SDK in Swift?
Yes.
SendBird supports Swift import.
You can just install SendBird SDK with CocoaPod and import it like this.
import SendBirdSDK
Also make sure the use_frameworks! line in your Podfile is uncommented otherwise you will have to use a bridging header.

I am trying to convert word(.doc) into PDF on iOS device. Is there an opensource solution where I can use as a C/C++ lib or something?
There really is no conveniently open-source library that will do this for you: you may get some mileage out of WvWare but I've never seen it used on iOS and I'm not sure what platform dependencies it may need.
If your iphone is connected to the net, then you can call a Docmosis web service to do it. You need to sign up though.

I have been trying to build the framework MailCore which is a dependency in a open source project, that is ReMail. I have followed all the steps given on ReMail Website (http://code.google.com/p/remail-iphone/) to get that project from their repo, but the code is still not getting built. Is there any other good alternative to MailCore for talking a IMAP server and pulling the mails from it?
Thanks,
Ulhas
MailCore is basically a wrapper around libetpan. A wrapper around a very old version of libetpan.
There is a new libetpan version available that I use successfully in an app.

Is there a web site or project documenting private APIs for the iPhone SDK?
here are searchable archives from iPhone OS 2.2.1 to iOS 9.2
https://github.com/nst/iOS-Runtime-Headers
Most likely. Just use the command line application class-dump to view the private headers. Note that your app will be rejected from the App Store for linking to private frameworks if you link at compile. It is easy enough to see that you are linking the private frameworks by running otool on your binary if linked at compile.
These are the compilable headers generated by class-dump-z, a iOS class dumper:

You might also find my "private-dumper" ruby gem useful: http://rubygems.org/gems/private-dumper

Does anyone know of a good example utilizing the twitter API and Oauth authentication for iPhone SDK 2.2.1 or older?
Found an example, but it seems to utilize a 3.0 only framework at https://github.com/kimptoc/MGTwitterEngine-1.0.8-OAuth
This is the best solution I've found:
http://github.com/bengottlieb/Twitter-OAuth-iPhone
The Oauth.net website lists a couple of Objective-C implementations on their code page - http://oauth.net/code.
