While I try to login in IBM bluemix using CLI editor, the connection is getting refused. I am using sydney region. Below is the command which I passed.
cf api https://api au-syd.bluemix.net
Error performing request: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.
Your endpoint isn't correct as it is missing a period/full-stop between 'api' and 'au-syd'.
Try:
cf api https://api.au-syd.bluemix.net
Then you can login with your credentials using:
cf login

I got the following error when trying to use a Notary client to get the digest of a signed image in my IBM Container Registry. Can anyone advise how to solve it?
# notary -s https://us.icr.io:4443 lookup us.icr.io/securek8s/hello-world latest
* fatal: unauthorized: The login credentials are not valid, or your IBM Cloud account is not active.
BTW, I built the Notary client from https://github.com/theupdateframework/notary
Notary uses your credentials from your Docker login cache. The error message that you received suggests that your login to us.icr.io isn't valid. This usually means that your credentials have expired.
If you have the ibmcloud CLI and the container-registry plugin installed, you can refresh your login by making sure that you're targeting the US South registry (ibmcloud cr region-set us.icr.io) and then logging in with ibmcloud cr login.
If you don't have the CLI plugin installed, you can log in using Docker commands directly. For more information, see Automating access to IBM Cloud Container Registry
in the IBM Cloud docs.
Application runs fine in normal mode. But when run it as task using cf run task "cf run-task ".java-buildpack/open_jdk_jre/bin/java org.springframework.boot.loader.JarLauncher" --name task1". It fails giving
c.c.c.ConfigServicePropertySourceLocator : Could not locate PropertySource: Error requesting access token.
Basically could not able to read profile SPRING_PROFILES_ACTIVE value
I think it was not able to connect to the pcf server and get the access token, which is required to connect to the config server. This problem may arise when the application is running in a network behind a firewall and has no direct connection to internet or the pcf server.
I am trying to provision SQL database on IBM Bluemix and I get the following error:
Service broker error: {"description"=>"Error 502 received from broker url https://csbs01-prod.mybluemix.net/sqldb/v2/service_instances}
has anyone faced a similar error ?
As reported on the Bluemix Status Page the issues with SQLDB Premium service provisioning should now be fixed. You should now be able to provision a new service instance.
When I attempt to connect to the IBM IoT Foundation with a registered device, I receive the following error message:
Error connecting to IBM IoT: {"errorCode":6,"errorMessage":"AMQJS0006E Bad Connack return code:5 Connection Refused: not authorized."}
How do I resolve this problem?
It is possible that you have expired as a member of your org if you created the service (and thereby the org) via the Bluemix dashboard. When you log into Bluemix, you get a 24 hour pass as a guest. You can then go into the IoTF dashboard and add yourself as a permanent member.
Do this by launching the IoTF dashboard from your Bluemix IoT service and then go to the Access tab. You should see yourself as a "guest" user, and you can add yourself as a permanent member. From the Access tab, add yourself as a permanent member of the org.
Yeah, maybe just API attempts for trial are out?
CHeck in Bluemix panel
I'm building a CloudFoundry application in Bluemix using the API Management service. For this I'm following this tutorial http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/cloud/library/cl-bluemix-api-mgmt-app/index.html.
I can successfully create an API Plan for a custom REST API application (running on a Liberty server on Bluemix as well) and it is published.
I can also create a service in my Bluemix dashboard using the new Custom API, which I take as the API plan was successfully deployed on Bluemix.
Whenever I try to bind this new service I get the following message:
BXNUI2055E: Unable to connect to Cloud Foundry because of the
following exception: "Read timed out." If the problem persists, see
the Troubleshooting topics in the IBM Bluemix Documentation to check
service status, review troubleshooting information, or for information
about getting help.
From time to time I also get this message
The service broker returned an invalid response for the request to
https://apimasv1-stage.stage1.mybluemix.net/d118dceb-edbf-4a7f-9bab-d44371b0c9f9/privateservices/v2/service_instances/1a60830c-0796-4105-afb4-e3477424acf9/service_bindings/ebb853dc-ec88-4987-b8f2-e9acd38d1741.
Status Code: 502 Bad Gateway, Body: 502 Bad Gateway: Registered
endpoint failed to handle the request.
Also, I can open the API portal and see the services listed in there. However, whenever I try to test the service, I get the following error
A security error has occurred. If using a self-signed certificate on
your gateway, you will need to accept it in your browser, which you
can do by clicking the following link.
https://api.wawona.apim.ibmcloud.com/victorshmx1ibmcom-dev/sb/LibraryREST/rs/authors/1
Also, below in the response I get this message:
NetworkError: Failed to execute 'send' on 'XMLHttpRequest': Failed to
load
'https://api.wawona.apim.ibmcloud.com/victorshmx1ibmcom-dev/sb/LibraryREST/rs/authors/1'.
I must clarify this service (the liberty app) doesn't have any security constraint to access the REST service nor I added some kind of security in the API Management portal.
Another thing to clarify is that I can bind other services, but not this one.
Does anyone know how I can fix those problems? Is there a known issue with IBM API Management service?
this seems to be an error with the service API Management instance you are trying to bind to.
