Network Servers Block missing in "Add blocks interface" - moodle

We are using mnet to connect our server (Client) to another moodle instance (server).
All the configuration for moodle has been completed and we double checked that we did not miss any.
Our "client" does not show the "Network Servers Block" in the Add Blocks Interface.
Any assistance is welcomed.
Thanks,
Chandrashekar Singh

Check the client has the capability block/mnet_hosts:addinstance
go to site admin -> users -> permissions -> check system permissions
select the client username
filter for block/mnet_hosts:addinstance
is it allowed?
If not then check the roles for the client. By default, the capability is assigned to roles editingteacher and manager, as well as an admin users.

the web server certificate template could not be duplicated. Access Is denied

Windows Server 2016, ADFS, Certification Authority
I tried to create duplicate web server template, but it says that it's not an accessible. see below snap.
Now, My client is not technical, he provide me an account with most of the access, account is not an administrator, but I can assign many access to my self using AD Administrative service.
My only question is which access DO I need to provide to this account for creating duplicate web server certificate template?
In a multi-domain environment, I have had the same issue, if I did not select a domain controller in the root domain, respectively in the domain that hosts the CA. In my case, another domain was chosen by the console, because my computer for remote administration is in another domain (child domain).
Try the following:
Open "Certificate Template Console"
Right-click "Certificate Templates" in the left pane
Click "Connect to another writable domain controller ..."
Change the domain
click "Ok"
Try to duplicate once again. :)
I know this is an old thread, but thought I might add a fix that could help others. The account you use to login to the CA server should have Enterprise admin rights and should also be a member of local IIS_IUSRS group. If you have verified both, just logout and login to the box again and you should be able to duplicate a template.

IdentityServer.IdentityManager requires no login

I am using the AspNetIdentity sample from the IdentityServer3 Samples file. When I start up the application the first page shows links for the Identity Server Welcome page and the Identity Manager User admin. When I click on the Identity manager admin link it automatically logs into the server and you can create, update etc any users, roles etc. How can this be modified to require a login? It seems obvious to me that this should not automatically log in and allow this access - am I missing something?
Identity Manager's default security is "Local Host" security. This means the caller/user is considered trusted if that caller is browsing from the same machine that is hosting Identity Manager. This is just the default, other security modes are available. Brock has a good video that explains the other modes.

Get IBM Bluemix SQL Database service credentials before I bind it to application, is it possible?

When I bind SQL Database service to an application I can see credentials from application panel. But in case I've created a service and would like to work with it before I'm binding to any application, is it possible? I haven't find a way to see credentials, only internal tools to work with database.
Thank you.
Once you provision a new SQL Database instance, you need to enter the service details page in bluemix, find the 'Launch' button to go to the service page which will open up separately. On the service page go to Set up `-->` Connect Applications `-- >` Connection settings. You will get all the connection details except the username and password.
If you are not able to resolve the username and password then you have got two alternatives :-
1. Create a dummy application, bind it to your SQL Database, get the credentials from VCAP_SERVICES, and you can use them externally.
2. If you are looking for something only on `DB2` then you have another alternative called `DashDB` available in Bluemix. Here the settings are well defined, credentials are clearly available and will work even without binding the service to an application.
Hope this helps you. Thanks.

How can I add a service account to IIS8?

Actually I need to access to another folder at different server at the same network. I am planing to generate a kind of active directory user to work with the web server and my data server. How can I add it to my IIS 8?
I can't find any link to add access to Authentication section at IIS.
appreciate any help.
Ok I found solution! Simple as few click!!!
you can do it with following my Guid:
Select Application Pool at IIS8
Right click on the related pool and select advanced Setting
Find Identity under Process Model section
Set your credential at Custom account section.
it is done and don't forget to recycle the application pool and restart your web services.

TFS 2010 Build agent not starting

My build agents are not starting after I change the properties credentials to the domain account from the network service. I done this because the network service account cannot write to my drop folder.
Each time I add the network service to the drop folder share, it appears then disappears.
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb778394.aspx I followed this but some steps are different, i have xp and it doesn't show the share tab so i go through security tab
So I guess I'm asking two questions here;
Agents are not starting after changing credentials.
Network service not able to write to the drop folder.
Thanks in advance
Yes, Network Service won't have permissions to write to a drop location. That's pretty standard. You need to be using a domain account.
The TFS Build Service will need to run as a domain user so it can write to the drop location.
The domain account for the build agent will need to be in the TFS Project Collection group for build service accounts (internal to TFS). I can't remember what it's actually called but you need to be a collection administrator to update it.
The domain account will also need some login as batch/service permissions but that should be done automatically when you reconfigure the service. Do you use the TFS Admin console to reconfigure the agent or did you just set the credentials on the service? (You should use the TFS Admin console).
