I managed to install the nodebb forum very well and i was able to use it... On the next day , it failed to start and just crashes. I think my problem was that connect mongo cannot easily connect to mongodb database. probably help me look at this error.

This is a very common error for any of application running on top of node. Both applications are pointing to same port, 4567 in your case .
You will have to change the port of one application or kill application when swapping between each app.

Does anyone know the solution to this? I am new to this and learning. I am on Macbook Air m1.
This is the end code while running dfx start in the terminal:
thread 'replica-actor' panicked at 'called Result::unwrap() on an Err value: Cannot start the replica: Timeout', src/dfx/src/actors/replica.rs:279:78
note: run with RUST_BACKTRACE=1 environment variable to display a backtrace
This is what happens while running dfx deploy in terminal:
Error: An error happened during communication with the replica: error sending request for url (http://127.0.0.1:8000/api/v2/status): error trying to connect: tcp connect error: Connection refused (os error 61)
Does anyone know anything about this?
Found the solution to the problem. I was running the code while it was stored in an external drive. When I created the same folder on my desktop and ran everything the same way, the problem got solved and I no longer have those errors in my terminal. I don't know how it is happening, but I just discovered it right now.
Try "dfx start --emulator"
When I was working on debug mode (with "flutter run") by using my device (real), Socket.Connect() method doesn't work.
Also I would like to say that this Connect method is in "dart:io" library.
In shortly;
I opened a server (TCP) with Python.
I wrote the Flutter client like below to be able to connecting to the server in Python.
Future den() async {
print("Started");
Socket sock = await Socket.connect("192.168.0.159", 5431);
print("Done +++++++++++++++++++++++++"); }
However, I took a SocketError as Connection time out.
The error message I took:
E/flutter (17655): [ERROR:flutter/lib/ui/ui_dart_state.cc(177)] Unhandled Exception: SocketException: OS Error: Connection timed out, errno = 110, address = 192.168.0.159, port = 43836
NOTE:
I tried to change the manifest file by adding INTERNET permission, but it is not working.
It was a strange problem, because there is no problem the code I shared. Windows Defender performed a rule to block to open a port as server. Hence, I started the server on my machine, however, I couldn't connect it from my Android device.
Maybe, the error code that is shown by Flutter isn't clear. If you took a error about socket programming for connection or binding, looking to Defender (or firewall) can be affective method. Unfortunately, as I was just starting to learn Flutter, I thought of checking out Defender afterwards.
Ibm mobilefirst development server failed to start showing error

Since i lost eclipse version of 6.3 i copied eclipse from another mac.
when i tried to run the development server this error shown.
i have also updated to current version of IBM MF still issue exist.
How to fix this issue in mac.
UPDATE:
killall -9 java
Killing java process worked.Thanks
The port is taken.
Try killing the Java process and then start the server again.
in command prompt, run lsof -i :10080
then kill the ports running with kill -9 <port_number>
in the "server" tab in eclipse, delete the "mobilefirst development server"
close eclipse, reopen eclipse, the server should recreate
start the server again
Hello Ive downloaded jetty and whenever I try to start it it generate the following log and gives an error so I can't use it, can somebody tell me whats wrong or whats missing
Im starting on terminal in the bin folder with the "./jetty.sh start"
Here's the error on localhost:8080
Error 404 - Not Found.
No context on this server matched or handled this request.
Contexts known to this server are:
Powered by Jetty Java Web Server
Heres the log:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/u6j7t1lhqscv34l/log.rtf
Looks like that port 8080 is already in use: "java.net.BindException: Address already in use
"
Try an different port or don't declare a port and use logic like this to figure out what you are bound to:
Server server = new Server(0);
int port = ((ServerConnector) server.getConnectors()[0]).getLocalPort();
Yesterday was fine, but today, suddenly, my web app report an error while accessing Facebook PHP API.
At first, the error was connection time out. So, I added the time in base_facebook.php, changed the variable
CURLOPT_CONNECTTIMEOUT => 10 into
CURLOPT_CONNECTTIMEOUT => 60
Now, my web app reports another error:
Fatal error: Uncaught CurlException: 7: couldn't connect to host thrown in xxx\src\base_facebook.php on line 972
Ah, I run my app on localhost in Windows (XAMPP 1.7.7).
For testing it, I also run the example codes from the newest facebook API in github.
I also have restarted my Apache server, and It still gives the same error.
This is probably a server configuration problem on your side.
Check whether the host has blocked the ports 80 and 443.
