Current,I am having a problem when execute drag and drop item in recyclerview.
I am doing with reference from https://github.com/iPaulPro/Android-ItemTouchHelper-Demo
But when execute function in adapter:
mListBookMark is ArrayList of Object
#Override
public boolean onItemMove(int fromPosition, int toPosition) {
Collections.swap(mListBookMark, fromPosition, toPosition);
notifyItemMoved(fromPosition, toPosition);
return true;
}
When I drag item from position a to position b but when finish drag recycler view not data changed.
How must I do?
Please give some suggestion for me! Thank you.
Try adding notifyItemChanged() to your code, like this:
#Override
public boolean onItemMove(int fromPosition, int toPosition) {
Collections.swap(mListBookMark, fromPosition, toPosition);
notifyItemMoved(fromPosition, toPosition);
notifyItemChanged(fromPosition);
notifyItemChanged(toPosition);
return true;
}
This should update the views based on their new position.

I'm trying to set a hilite inside the record click handler of the list grid. I have tired the following code,
My hilites are as follows,
public static Hilite[] getWayBillSetHilites() {
return new Hilite[]{
new Hilite() {
{
setFieldNames("RECORD_VIEWED_STATUS");
setCriteria(new Criterion("RECORD_VIEWED_STATUS", OperatorId.EQUALS, "TRUE"));
setCssText(Constant.Css.TEXT_ITALIC_GRAY_32);
setTextColor("font-style:italic;color:#525252;");
setId("0");
}
}
};
}
record click handler of the grid appears as follows,
grid.addRecordClickHandler(new RecordClickHandler() {
#Override
public void onRecordClick(RecordClickEvent recordClickEvent) {
//gridWayBillSetGrid.getHiliteState()
//make RECORD_VIEWED_STATUS value "true"
recordClickEvent.getRecord().setAttribute("RECORD_VIEWED_STATUS", true);
gridWayBillSetGrid.enableHilite("0", true);
}
});
But when I click on the record, the styles are not showing up.
Please be kind to advise on this.
I think it's the wrong use case for hilites. Use getCellCSSText instead.
Try this one (override getCellCSSText method of ListGrid class):
ListGrid grid = new ListGrid(...){
#Override
protected String getCellCSSText(ListGridRecord record, int rowNum, int colNum) {
if("true".equalsIgnoreCase(record.getAttribute("RECORD_VIEWED_STATUS"))){
return "font-style:italic;color:#525252;";
}
return super.getCellCSSText(record, rowNum, colNum);
}
};
I have listView with drag drop functionality. I'm using ListView with custom layout- I have SeekBar and TextView in custom ListView layout. When I drag and drop each ListView items after changing SeekBar value, TextView is moving and SeekBar value is not moving.
It may be caused by Adapter. So I've share my adapter codes.

EDIT --- My ListItem Class
class ListItem {
String textdata;
public ListItem(String textdata) {
this.textdata = textdata;
}
public boolean equals(Object o) {
ListItem ndListItemObject = (ListItem) o;
return this.textdata.equalsIgnoreCase(ndListItemObject.textdata);
}
}
** My ListView looks like image below
** Change the SeekBar value of Layer1
** Drag-Drop Layer1 and Layer2
** Layer1 and Layer2 moved but SeekBar values stay same place, they didn't moved.
I think I have an idea. First, your post is missing code snippet of the definition of NavigationDrawerFragment.ListItem class, could be helpful. I do remember that you call method swapElements in DynamicListView but other readers probably don't need to know it.
My suggestion is to save the progress value into the ListItem class, sample code below. We will depend on swapElements() to swap the 2 ListItem objects properly, along with the progress and text (layers in your case).
EDIT, code suggestion for ListItem class:
class ListItem {
String textdata;
int seekBarValue;
public ListItem(String textdata) {
this.textdata = textdata;
}
public ListItem(String textdata, int seekBarValue) {
this.textdata = textdata;
this.seekBarValue = seekBarValue;
}
...
Notes for ListItem code:
Added seekBarValue as a public data member, and another ListItem constructor for the caller's convenience.
This is what I meant by add another data member to this class.
Code snippet suggestion for the Adapter:
holder.mSeekBar.setOnSeekBarChangeListener(new SeekBar.OnSeekBarChangeListener() {
#Override
public void onProgressChanged(SeekBar seekBar, int progress, boolean fromUser) {
final NavigationDrawerFragment.ListItem item = myItems.get(position);
View view = (View) seekBar.getParent();
if (view != null) {
holder.text.setText(progress + "%");
item.seekBarValue = progress;
Notes:
Added code line ...item = myItems.get(position); to get the correct item in the ArrayList.
Set the progress to item.seekBarValue
You may remove these codes below unless you plan on using it, of course:
holder.mSeekBar.getTag();
holder.text.getTag();
mar.get(1,progress);
I added double click event for DataGrid, but it doesn't work correctly. The code handles a single click, but it does not handle double click.
Please help.
private DataGrid<Contract> table = new DataGrid<Contract>();
table.addCellPreviewHandler(new Handler<Contract>() {
#Override
public void onCellPreview(final CellPreviewEvent<Contract> event) {
if (BrowserEvents.DBLCLICK.equals(event.getNativeEvent().getType())) {
//it doesn't handle
Window.alert("Tro-lo-lo");
}
if (BrowserEvents.CLICK.equals(event.getNativeEvent().getType())) {
//it handles
Window.alert("Tru-la-la");
}
}
});
DataGrid has many things in common with CellTable. So solutions from this question must work for you too:
Using CellPreviewHandler count time between two clicks
Or you can add DoubleClickHandler using addDomHandler method
dataGrid.addDomHandler(new DoubleClickHandler() {
#SuppressWarnings("unchecked")
#Override
public void onDoubleClick(DoubleClickEvent event) {
DataGrid<YourDataProviderType> grid = (DataGrid<YourDataProviderType>) event.getSource();
int row = grid.getKeyboardSelectedRow();
YourDataProviderType item = grid.getVisibleItem(row);
Window.alert("Do Something Here");
}
}, DoubleClickEvent.getType());
does anyone know how to trigger the "Show More" functionality of a GWT CellTree programmatically, without having to click on the Show More button?
My aim is to implement a kind of pager that increments the number of elements displayed when the user scrolls down a ScollPanel, so it would be something like:
//inside pager class
onScroll(ScrollEvent)
{
//here I would call CellTree's show more
}
I've been looking the CellTree and CellTreeNodeView classes code but I couldn't find a clear way to do it.
I know the class CellTreeNodeView has a showMore function which is the one who performs this action, but I don't know how to get it called from another class. I'd need a CellTreeNodeView object, and dont' know how to get it.
Thanks!
It is a package protected method in a package protected class CellTreeNodeView i.e only code in com.google.gwt.user.cellview.client can invoke it.
void showMore()
Extremely hacky solution
1) The only way around it is . Copy CellTreeNodeView and CellTree into your code base (maintain the package )
2) Change the accessors to public to allow you to invoke showMore as per your requirement.
3) Ensure you test for all possible flows.
4) Ensure the copied classes in your code base appear in a higher classpath hieararchy to GWT Compiler than gwt-user jar thus ensuring your modified classes get picked up rather than original ones.
Finally I got it working exactly as I wanted, and without having to copy the code from the protected original GWT.
The point was firing the same event as the "Show more" button, so I created a fake onMouseDown event, and triggered it with the show more button as the target:
final ScrollPanel sp = new ScrollPanel();
sp.addScrollHandler(new ScrollHandler() {
#Override
public void onScroll(ScrollEvent event)
{
int maxScrollBottom = sp.getWidget().getOffsetHeight()
- sp.getOffsetHeight();
if (sp.getVerticalScrollPosition() >= maxScrollBottom) {
NativeEvent clickEvent = Document.get().createMouseDownEvent(0,0,0,0,0,false,false,false,false,0);
Element target = (Element) cellTree.getCellTree().getElement().getLastChild().getFirstChild().getLastChild();
target.dispatchEvent(clickEvent);
}
}
});
Thank you a lot, anyway! :D
My workaround is this one:
public static void makeShowMoreVisible(Element element, boolean isVisible) {
ArrayList<Element> result = new ArrayList<Element>();
findShowMore(result, element);
for (Element elt : result) {
if (isVisible) {
element.getStyle().clearDisplay();
} else {
element.getStyle().setDisplay(Display.NONE);
}
}
}
private static void findShowMore(ArrayList res, Element element) {
String c;
if (element == null) {
return;
}
if (element.getInnerText().equals("Show more")) {
res.add(element);
}
for (int i = 0; i < DOM.getChildCount(element); i++) {
Element child = DOM.getChild(element, i);
findShowMore(res, child);
}
}
I am trying to focus on a particular list view in a tree, I am using the following code
this.txtListName.setCursorPos(this.txtListName.getText().length());
this.txtListName.setFocus(true);
The text view has the cursor blinking inside it but when I type a key nothing happens, I have to select the text view again before being able to type.
Why is this happening.
SOLVED
The setting the the focus was done inside a for loop that looped over and created the Tree Items, when I removed it from the for loop it worked.
Could it be that something in your current call stack is taking the focus away after you set it. You could try setting the focus in a timeout:
(new Timer() {
#Override
public void run() {
txtListName.setFocus(true);
}
}).schedule(0);
I've tried to recreate your problem but the following snippet works for me:
public void onModuleLoad() {
Tree tree = new Tree();
final TextBox box = new TextBox();
box.setText("some content");
tree.add(box);
Button btn = new Button("set focus");
btn.addClickHandler(new ClickHandler() {
#Override
public void onClick(ClickEvent event) {
box.setCursorPos(box.getText().length());
box.setFocus(true);
}
});
RootPanel.get().add(tree);
RootPanel.get().add(btn);
}
Isn't that what you're trying to achieve?
