I am generating a graphml file via python based on network analysis. This is working fine. The problem is that I am unable to read it using yED or cytoscape.
Here is the error that I am observing in yED.

and here is my graphml file

I am new to the graphml format. Any help is appreciated.
The thing is Java parseInt returns a 32bit signed int which has a maximal value of 2,147,483,647, your value (maybe an node Id) is 10,000,000,000.
The parser code should return a long (a 64 bit integer) instead.
Networkx is not at fault here. If you cannot change the parser, maybe try to cast big values as string type instead of int.

This is a bug in the hot spot compiler in Java 8, see
http://kingsfleet.blogspot.co.il/2014/11/but-thats-impossible-or-finding-out.html
According to the above blog post, a workaround is to add the following VM parameter
-XX:CompileCommand=exclude,javax/swing/text/GlyphView,getBreakSpot
I am working on a project to mock AWS S3 locally and have decided to use Jetty as the server. I found a quick tutorial http://jlunaquiroga.blogspot.com/2014/01/restful-web-services-with-jetty-and.html that included this code snippet that mocks a server:
public class MockRESTClient {
public static void main(String[] args) throws Exception {
Server server = new Server(8080);
ServletHandler handler = new ServletHandler();
handler.addServletWithMapping(HelloServlet.class, "/hello");//Set the servlet to run.
server.setHandler(handler);
server.start();
server.join();
}
#SuppressWarnings("serial")
public static class HelloServlet extends HttpServlet {
#Override
protected void doGet(HttpServletRequest request, HttpServletResponse response)
throws ServletException, IOException {
response.setContentType("text/html");
response.setStatus(HttpServletResponse.SC_OK);
response.getWriter().println("<h1>Hello SimpleServlet</h1>");
}
}
After (seemingly) resolving all of the dependencies, I attempt to kick off the server, but am getting this error:

I am a bit confused about the ClassNotFoundException for org/eclipse/jetty/util/component/Destroyable since none of my code explicitly calls anything contained in org.eclipse.jetty.util. When I try to import that package, I get a warning that the import is unused.
I searched through SO to find an answer, but the closest thing I found was ClassNotFoundException: org.eclipse.jetty.util.component.AbstractLifeCycle running inside jetty which seems to indicate that my web application needs a class from jetty-util. This makes sense since the classes that it is not able to find are not referenced directly in my code. Now, what doesn't make sense, is that there is no actual web application, yet. I simply wanted to test that the server could run locally.
Please chime in if you know what the issue is. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

Exception running application application.Agenda1
To run your application with the Agenda custom control from JFXtras, besides jfxtras-agenda-8.0-r3.jar you need to add also to your classpath:
jfxtras-common-8.0-r3.jar
jfxtras-controls-8.0-r3.jar
Both are available at Maven central.
I'm Really new to Java 8 just picked it up yesterday.

Exception running application FXMLExample.FXMLExample
I think I have failed the java installtion some how. I am using java jre1.8.0_20
Ok! no problem with the java installation.
Just make sure to have the right addressing to you Controller class.
sorry about the bad question but I'm gonna leave it up, for now.
Situation:
I'm using PostgreSQL 9.1 and now I'm using Pentaho Report Designer to create reports from a data warehouse stored on a database. This database is named bd-datawarehouse.
The problem I have is when I try to create a connection from the Pentaho Report Designer to bd-datawarehouse database. I've configured all the settings and everything seems correct, like the next image:
but when I click the Test button, it gives me the next error:

You must know that all fields of settings are right (database name, port number, host name, user name and password).
Seeing the error, I've thought that the problem could be that I haven't the jdbc driver to connect a PostgreSQL database, so I've looked for it and I've done like the accepted answer of this question said: I've downloaded the driver for my postgresql 9.2 from here and I've put it on ...\biserver-ce\tomcat\lib\, but the problem persists.
I don't know how to solve it, because I don't understand so deeply which is the problem.
Any help would be appreciated!
report-designer\lib\jdbc\
or
bd-datawarehouse\lib\jdbc\
You need to place the appropriate jdbc jar file to above path. then you need to restart the pentaho reporting tool. It might be work. Its working for me.
I've downloaded the last version of the PostgreSQL JDBC 4.2 Driver and input it on the lib folder of the Database connection program, it worked for me :)
