Can anyone tell me step by step procedure on how to implement rest api in wso2esb server.
I have written the code in php & mysql to display student data in json format.
so when i visit following url in browser http://localhost/student/list_student i will get the list of user in json format
Now I want to get these json using wso2esb ?
And also do I need wso2 application server for restapi implementation?
Please refer to the detailed WSO2 documentation on how to create a REST API using WSO2 ESB server at [1]. Please do post a separate question if you have any specific queries related to your implementation of the REST API. Thanks.

According to your question you already have a backend which returns students data. You may use article [1] to create a REST API and expose it through the WSO2 ESB. Just call the existing end point and expose data in REST format through WSO2 ESB.

We have an application developed with react and NodeJs and already implemented an MYOB cloud ERP integration to import data. Now we are planning to add a new ERP integration for Acumatica, in the developer document it was mentioned that the rest API is available but I can't find the cloud instance URL, everywhere it was mentioned as localhost only. So can anyone please help me to understand how to connect the Acumatica cloud to fetch details?
Note: I understand the authorization flow like Authorization Code but I'm confused with which URL to use for and I hope it should be a fixed one as it is a cloud URL
The Integration end points is a rather large topic. I am in the process of writing a blog post on it which is more or less a getting started blog on automating stuff and getting info via ReST. The blog itself is in the context of using these services via PowerShell but if you are able to follow along and get to the point of establishing postman examples of what you need to do you should be able to get to the same end result in any language.
You will want to explore The Web Services Endpoint screen in the integration module as this is where all the Contract Based Soap/ReST definitions are managed. You can even set up custom endpoint if you need.
Do you have access to the Acumatica Portal? The best way to get started is with some of the course work there.
Stand by and ill forward some information for you to get started.

The URL for the RestAPI is whatever is the site URL of your Acumatica instance. For example if your Acumatica is hosted in www.ManiMaran.com. To login to your API :
http://ManiMaran.com/entity/auth/login.
I am testing a new webservice that is receiving messages from an application and responding with messages with specific information. The webservice then uses this information to create new messages for downstream systems. I need to know the best way I can test this using the Ready API tool, we just got a pro license. Is it SOAP or REST I need to use. Ideally I want to simply copy my application messages in to the tool, call the webservice and get the response, which I can then check is the correct response for the test
To find your web-service is SOAP or REST.
Please check whether your web service has WSDL to verify it has SOAP web-service, you can get your web-service's WSDL by post-fixing WSDL with your web service url.
Eg: http://{yourservice-url/path1}?WSDL
If your service don't provide WSDL from the above URL, then your web-service is REST.
I am going thru the documentation and examples related to calling REST APIs for SugarCRM using Chrome REST client or PostMan but most of the examples are PHP and I am not finding a good way to find a proper request and other parameters to be mentioned so that I can get the successful response from the API. I was trying get_entry_list. Can someone please help by providing a working REST API request for this API which I can run on REST client or postman?
I also would like to know if I want to build a SugarCRM connector for my application, which set of APIs I should use? Should I go with REST or SOAP and any supporting arguments to choose one over another?
Thanks
I have a Rest Api (Python/flask) that send response in json.
I need to POST a request with 3 parameters (body) using Soap, but I don't know about Soap and I don't understand the samples.
Can I just use a mediator to "translate" my Rest Api into a Soap Api ?
How can I test the Post request with SoapUi ? Do I need to use a wsdl file ?
I just need entry point documentation.
thanks.
You will need a WSDL to define your operation/web-service i.e SOAP Request incl 3 parameters. I use eclipse with the Web Tools plug in to create WSDLS. Then you'll need to get SOAP --> New Soap Project, and include the wsdl. LEt me know when you get there , and we can continue!
You will need to define your operations of the SOAP web service in a WSDL. Then you can create a new project in SOAPUI with this WSDL. Follow http://www.soapui.org/soap-and-wsdl/operations-and-requests.html on how to create a request for a particular operation.
In ESB you can create an API for your REST service (https://docs.wso2.com/display/ESB481/Creating+APIs). Now you need to use a payloadfactor mediator in your API in sequence to transform your SOAP(XML) request to JSON (https://docs.wso2.com/display/ESB481/PayloadFactory+Mediator). Then, this JSON request will be sent to the REST backend. If you again need to transfer the JSON response from the backend to SOAP, include another payload factory mediator to transform.
Any help would be appreciated.
I am trying to have SalesForce push out account information to a billing system (external) via a SOAP API. The billing system doesn't have a WSDL that I can generate an Apex Class with and I have been scouring the net for information on how to create a class without a WSDL.
Q: Is it possible to interact with an external SOAP without a WSDL? And if it is possible can someone point me to some examples?
Thanks!!

You have a few choices:
Reverse engineer a WSDL from the billing system.
Skip the WSDL and generate your own stub classes. See this part of the docs for an example.
Generate your own SOAP messages and use the HTTP classes to invoke
