I have seen many times this 'colourful' plugin but I cannot find which one it is. Any ideas?
It is the Nyan Cat, provided by
Nyan Mode.

When using dashboard (https://melpa.org/#/dashboard) in emacs, how can I set it up so that it ignores directories or filenames matching a pattern like .gitignore ?
For example by default it shows ~/.emacs.d/elpa/*
The emacs community is friendly... but probably not as helpful as they could be. You could try filing a GitHub issue with the dashboard developer (here: https://github.com/rakanalh/emacs-dashboard/issues). If you ever did figure out a fix for your own issue, I bet the dashboard maintainer would be glad to hear about it.
Avoid plugins. Help on opensource plugins is minimal if you are not comfortable with developer jargon, politics and technical skills to understand the source code.
Just wait and see for yourselves - the emacs tag has 5.4K watchers, on average you get about <20 views per question, when do you think the question will be answered ?
Semantics aside, the suggestion is to just use the built in bookmarks feature.

I am using CodeRush Xpress and found that I cannot write a plugin using IssueProvider from this page (end of third paragraph). Now I am using codeProvider to write simple plugins using CodeRush Xpress.
With CodeProvider I can only show the notification with these 3 dots.
I wanted to show the errors by
1.) Underling the code and
2.) Providing a URL in the hint box (So that the user can click this URL to know more about the problem).
Is there a way to underline the code in coderush Xpress. And also any ways to provide links in the hint box.
Some links or some lines of code used to underline would be helpful.
Thanks in Advance.
The high-level Code Issues UI functionality (underlining, issue hints with links(URLs), left and right issue bars) is available in CodeRush Pro, but not CodeRush Xpress. So you won't be able to see code issues with CodeRush Xpress only.
I am looking for the gettingstarted.zip or the examples in the jboss tutorial, but could not find them, especially the sources for the jsfejb3 example. Are these examples removed from the distribution or am I to stupid to find them?
Do you mean the example shown in http://docs.redhat.com/docs/en-US/JBoss_Enterprise_Application_Platform/4.3/html-single/Getting_Started_Guide/index.html#About_the_Example_Applications ?
If so it's available in the "Application Platform 4.3.0.GA_CP09 documentation" available from https://access.redhat.com/downloads/
this might be what you are looking for JBOSS Start Guide.zip, also maybe try JBoss Sourceforge page
edit: try this maybe JSF-EJB3 Example
and these guys LINK seem to have got working what you are having trouble with maybe something in thier posts can help
I'd like to use Easy Google Syntax Highlighter in my wordpress blog. Because often I will paste some java code in my blog. But I don't like the default style of Easy Google Syntax Highlighter, how can I use the eclipse java code style ?
Thanks
I recommend keeping an eye out for a good Pygments plugin for Wordpress.
The following URL is a blog post by Gwynne Raskind talking about a Pygments plugin she's made but has not released yet - it's currently pending clarification on licensing and the post was written just yesterday so it's definitely alive.
http://blog.darkrainfall.org/highlighting-source-code-in-wordpress-with-pygments/
EDIT: I know it's not "eclipse style" but to get Eclipse-style syntax highlighting you'll likely have to rewrite stuff on your own. Since Pygments highlighting is crazy-awesome I thought this might be a good alternative.
ANOTHER EDIT: If you use java, http://www.java2html.de/applet.html might be useful!
You may have to edit the language files, in the /Scripts folder. There appears to be no quick way to 'theme' it though and looking at the files it would be a time consuming process to edit the colors for each language.
How, if possible, can I have iPhone SDK's classes (UI*) to autocomplete inside TextMate?
Ok, after looking the link Kendall posted and some other places this is what I have found:
There is currently NO easy way to have autocomplete of iPhone APIs in TextMate.
The link on the post Kendall pointed is old, but I found it and one other iPhone Bundle on gitHub:
http://github.com/Caged/gtbfm-textmate-bundle
http://github.com/drnic/objective-c-iphone-tmbundle
But none of these bundles offers autocomplete, they have some templates and snippets.
The closest I have found is on the svn repository from TextMate:
http://svn.textmate.org/trunk/Review/Bundles/iPhone.tmbundle
It's not official yet, and I have reported some issues with it to the developer (Joachim MÃ¥rtensson).
You can have autocomplete with this bundle, but it is working only with classes files, not headers.
