How to get server token for Uber? - uber-api

UBER dashboardWhere can I get my Uber server token? I have created an account and got a Client Id and a Client secret. But I can't find server token on my developer account.

When you log into the dashboard you will see a list of all of your apps. Select whatever app you are looking to use. Then under "Authentication & Security" where you see the Client ID and Client Secret, on the right hand side there should be a "Server Token" that you can use.

Why does the PayPal API not recognize my client id and secret

The Paypal API doesn't recognize my Client ID and Secret I got from https://developer.paypal.com/developer/applications/
I wanted to include a server side checkout according to this tutorial https://developer.paypal.com/docs/archive/checkout/how-to/server-integration/
When I do the request to https://api-m.paypal.com/v1/payments/payment I always get a 401 Error with the message "Authentication failed due to invalid authentication credentials or a missing Authorization header.".
I checked multiple times if my credentials were correctly included into the request. I also tested the endpoint in my server environment and as well via Postman.
I also tried the route https://api-m.sandbox.paypal.com/v1/oauth2/token to exchange my credentials with an access token and got the same problem.
I also tried to create multiple Sandbox and Live Accounts and always got the same error.
Has anyone an idea what the problem could be?
There are two separate issues here.
You first need to use /v1/oauth2/token to obtain an access token, and then use that access token to call any of the other actual APIs.
The credentials you obtain from PayPal Developer will be for either "Sandbox", or "Live". Make sure you choose the correct tab (sandbox, for development). Sandbox credentials will only work for api-m.sandbox.paypal.com , and Live credentials will only work for api-m.paypal.com . The two environments are completely separate.
If you still have issues, post the SANDBOX client ID and secret you are using, and the full request and response to the api-m.sandbox.paypal.com endpoint. There should be a PayPal-Debug-Id in any error response, in the headers if nowhere else.

I needed to access HUAWEI AppGallery Connect API and create a product through the PMS API (server API). But 403 client token authorization fail

Recently,I needed to access HUAWEI AppGallery Connect API
and create a product through the PMS API (server API). However, when Postman
was used for basic service interconnection tests,
the error message "403 client token authorization fail" was displayed.
how can i fix it?
Based on the error code included in your screen captures, the error was caused by an authentication failure.
To solve the problem, you first need to confirm that the client ID used for applying for the token has sufficient permission.
HMS official document suggested that the project associated with the API client be selected as N/A. You need to create an API client and associate it with a project. E.g. An app ID in the project was 100xxx591. However, the app ID in the Postman service request was 101xxx531, which would cause the authentication failure.
Also, to fix the above, you need to create an API client and selected N/A (indicating that all projects are supported), and use the client to request a token. The process should work well after this.
In general, if Huawei's 403 authentication failure occurs, you can verify the permission first, and then check the associated projects.

GSuite : Client is unauthorized to retrieve access tokens using this method

Hi I'm trying to develop an for GSuite admin which enables to migrate their google drive data to another cloud service. But in the process of authentication i'm getting the below error.
{
"error": "unauthorized_client",
"error_description": "Client is unauthorized to retrieve access tokens using this method."
}
Below are the api's that are enabled in developer console.
1. Admin SDK
2. Contacts API
3. G Mail API
4. Calendar API
5. Drive API
Please guide me if done anything wrong in creating an app.
The main thing what i missed here is Authorizing my service account client ID with the GSUITE admin.
And I have been trying to generate access_token for the expired domain of mine.
After clearing all these i have to success in generating and getting user data.
This solution worked for me. I hope it works for you tooo....
Thank you community.

How to get clientid and clientsecret for OAuth 2.0 authentication in servicenow

I am trying to integrate my client application with ServiceNow using OAuth 2.0 authentication. In servicenow documentation for REST apis i have seen that we have to register our client with servicenow to get clientid and clientsecret for OAuth 2.0 resource owner password authentication. In the document to register the application we have to navigate to System OAuth > Application Registry in servicenow, but in my servicenow instance System OAuth > Application Registry is not present. How should i proceed to get the clientid and clientsecret
It sounds like the OAuth 2.0 plugin may not be active on your instance.
Got to: https://YOURINSTANCE/v_plugin_list.do?sysparm_query=GOTOname%3E%3Doauth and make sure it is Active
Also in your System Properties, make sure that OAuth is turned on.
This URL: sys_properties_list.do?sysparm_query=GOTOname%3E%3Dcom.snc.platform.security.oauth.is.active
Also check out the wiki for any further clarification:
Good luck!
Steps to create and app and get client id/client secret.
Log into ServiceNow. Make sure you have an admin user login.
You need to navigate to System OAuth > Application Registry. Click New.
Easiest way is to search for "Application Registry"to register an OAuth client application in ServiceNow interceptor page, click Create an OAuth API endpoint for external clients. Fill out the fields, as appropriate.
Step 1
Step 2
Name - e.g. MyApp
If you leave the "Client Secret" as blank that will be the admin password by default (I won't recommend this)
Step 3
Additional Info:
Note that the refresh token expires in 100 days (8,640,000 seconds).
You can update the “Refresh Token Lifespan” to “2,147,483,647” (maximum value allowed by ServiceNow) to have a longer expiry for refreshtoken.

• Click Submit.
Make sure tables you access via the api are allowed for web service access. Go to System Definition > Tables and locate your table (e.g. “sys-user”). Make sure “Allow access to this table via web services” checkbox is ticked. By default this is enabled.
Provide your Servicenow admin account username and password with the ClientId and ClientSecret to authorise your app to connect to ServiceNow.

Oauth2: how should the resource server know if the access token is valid?

I'm implementing an Ouath2 authentication with Spring for our mobile API. So far it works but I don't know how I should keep the resource server separate. So I have an auth server which gives out tokens and refresh tokens using the password grant-type. Meaning the user would log into the mobile app, which sends the auth server the client id/client secret along with the user's
credentials, which results in an access token and a refresh token for the user with the appropriate (ROLE_USER) privileges. Another web based client is for the admins who do the same and get the ROLE_ADMIN privilege etc.
This works well so far.
Now if any client sends a request to the resource server what should happen? Should the resource server check the token's validity? If so in what way? Or should the auth server copy the token into the resource-server's database?
If you #EnableResourceServer you get a filter that checks access tokens. It needs to share a TokenStore with the auth server. That's about it to get something working.
