xcode 8 beta unable to upload to testflight - app-store

I was using testflight with xcode 8 beta for the last few days. yesterday it stopped working with the error:
ERROR ITMS-90512: "Invalid sdk value. The value provided for the sdk
portion of LC_VERSION_MIN_IPHONEOS in
example.app/Frameworks/libswiftAVFoundation.dylib is 10.0 which is
greater than the maximum allowed value of 9.3." ...
This is repeated for other frameworks.
My build deployment target is iOS 9.3
I understand this not being allowed for apps uploaded for release. But why would the restriction be there for testflight apps? The point of testflight is to test out your changes.
Swift 3.0 is so different that reverting back to xcode 7.3 is not really an option for me. Just wondering why it worked initially but stopped suddenly and if anybody has found a solution to use testflight with xcode 8 beta.

Apps that are created using beta versions of Xcode or that are built for beta versions of an OS will not be accepted on the App Store.

Xcode 8 beta 6 is allowing uploading of builds of iOS 10

SDK error when publishing the application

good day guys, someone happened the same thing, I have a problem when publishing a new version of my app in the PlayStore, I don't know if it is correct to update my SDK version:
First I got a warning and it went up normal now after about 2 weeks
I am uploading a new update and it sends me this error.
App Store Connect Operation Error
ERROR ITMS-90725: "SDK Version Issue. This app was built with the iOS 13.6 SDK. All
iOS apps submitted to the App Store must be built with the iOS 14 SDK or later, included in Xcode 12 or later."
my current version of Xcode is 11.6
Since the new privacy changes released, you should upload your app with Xcode 12 or later. It is also written on error message.
Xcode 11 doesn't have App Tracking Transparency framework so Apple blocks the app's which are uploaded previous version of Xcode 12.

Getting error when try to upload IPA using Xcode 10.1 or application loader

When I try to upload build it shows me error like:
ERROR ITMS-90725: "SDK Version Issue. This app was built with the iOS 11.4 SDK. All iOS apps submitted to the App Store must be built with the iOS 11 SDK or later, included in Xcode 9 or later. Further, starting March 2019, all iOS apps submitted to the App Store must be built with the iOS 12.1 SDK or later, included in Xcode 10.1 or later."
I know I cannot upload build using old version of XCode. My project was build on Xcode 10.0 but when I try to upload using XCode 10.0 it give above mention error. But When I open project in XCode 10.1 it gives me lots of error due to swift version but I cannot fix because of timeline.
Inshort,
Successfully build on XCode 10.0 but failed in XCode 10.1 and appstore requires iOS 12.1 for upload which is available on in XCode10.1 I tried to make build from XCode 10.0 and upload using application loader of XCode10.1. But still getting error, Any Solution?
Probable solution here would be building your app with the latest SDK available.
But downgrading the version of Swift to your desired one from settings in Xcode.
Please go to build settings of your target on latest Xcode & search for Swift Version. Then if may the latest one in the market so downgrade same to your expected one. So you will not get that much errors upon building
When I tried to solve the problem I got solution that is as per appstore new rule they app should be build in iOS version 12.1 atleast. So I got iPhone SDK 12.1 folder from XCode 10.1 content folder and paste it to XCode 10 Content folder.
App uploaded successfully... :)

App not installing on iPhone 5s

I have a MVC web app, which is distributed through ad hoc for iPhone using Xcode 4.5. The Xcode iPhone simulator is 6.1. The app installs fine on previous versions of iPhones, but not installing on iPhone 5s.
Can someone tell me, how I can make adhoc distribution for latest iPhone. Should I update Xcode or any other workaround?
No there is not need to use the iOS 7 SDK, all iOS 7 devices are capable of running iOS 6 apps.
Just make sure that you have the correct UDID, if the UDID start with FFFFF the UDID is not corrcet. Since iOS 7 the developers can not access the UDID any more. Thus all the UDID app are not longer working.
You should use iTunes to retrieve the UDID of the device.
Well Yes, Updation is required. This is because iPhone 5S has iOS 7.0. You will need to update your xcode 4.5 to xcode 5 which is required for running ios 7.0 . Xcode 4.5 will not create builds for ios 7.0 . Therefore you need to install a version of xcode that supports iOS 7.0 and later.
I was having a similar issue, and I found my answer here: Xcode 4.5 - can't install developer .ipa files via iTunes
Using the accepted answer there, my issues for installing on the new 5S went away. I just had to rebuild the distribution profile, make a new .ipa file with it and try again. Strange error, but the answer worked for me.

How to fix "Apple is not currently accepting applications built with this version of the SDK." error for distributing an iOS SDK 4.2 app

This is very similar to a couple of other questions on stackoverflow, but they all seem to be from last year and referring to lower version numbers.
I have:
xcode version 3.2.5
A distribution build with Base SDK = Latest iOS (currently set to iOS 4.2), iOS Deployment Target = iOS 3.2
I've tried the following without much luck:
Deployed to a device (not the simulator)
Setting the iOS Deployment target to 3.0, 3.2, 4.0, 4.1 and 4.2
Cleaned my xcode cache
Deployed through Application Loader and Organizer
Did a clean build
Reinstalled xcode <-- turns out this was the problem - need to check that it's the final version (ie, xcode_3.2.5_and_ios_sdk_4.2_final.dmg) and not the beta version
Tried finding a version of the SDK < 4.2 to install, but apple seems to remove all old versions from their developer site
I'm sure iOS 4.2 should be out of beta now, so I don't think this is the issue either.
Any other ideas? Is there any way of getting more information about the versions of the SDK that apple want?
Very frustrating indeed!
I had this problem yesterday and solved it by redownloading XCode from the developer center and reinstalling it. For some reason, the dmg file on my disk was from 19th of November (no, it was not a beta), and the release date of the SDK is 22nd on the iOS Dev center. Check if your local copy was downloaded before that. It just automagically worked after a reinstall. I built the binaries against SDK 4.2 and set the deployment target to 3.1 if that helps.
I am not sure at the moment, did apple rerelease SDK 4.2 with XCode 3.2.5 at some point without changing the version? Anyway, hope that helps, it worked for me.

I have xcode 3.2.2, is that the latest? Is 4.0 out

I want to get into iphone dev, I downloaded xcode a long time ago and my version on my mac is 3.2.2
I logged into the dev center, and I see "xcode and ios sdk 4.2"
The snowleapords download shows xcode 3.2.5 and ios sdk 4.2
Little confused, where is xcode 4.0 which I thought was released a while ago?
No, Xcode 4 has not been released yet. It's still in the developer preview stage (only available to members of the paid developer program). The current public stable version (as of this writing) is 3.2.5.
XCode 4 is still a beta. You must be a paid registered Mac developer or iOS developer to access the XCode 4 beta. It costs $100/year. The current release is 3.2.5, which includes the 4.2 SDK.
