Is it possible to show a message (just a warning the user can dismiss) from code in a custom function without using a task pane? (And without making it the return value of the function.) Something that shows up in the status bar, or a popup, etc.?
And obviously, if so, how do you do it?
(Office.context.ui.displayDialogAsync isn't available from the custom functions context, not even in the shared runtime.)
Thank you for reaching us. So far we don't support it. I'd recommend going to Microsoft 365 Developer Platform Ideas Forum and see if this feature has already been requested or if request a new feature. Thanks for your support!
I am really struggling here... All I actually want to achieve is that I can get the Generate-Strong-Password function inside my app but that is actually harder than I thought.
I learned that I should go with Firebase Dynamic Links because I have a Wordpress-Website from All-Inkl.com.
I followed this Tutorial and there is actually an Apple-Site-Association-File at the moment. But I can't access my Website anymore as it looks like this:
Inside my Firebase Project I am getting this error which says that there not all the necessary "A-Files" are inside my Website:
My DNS-Settings:
I've been struggling for weeks now to get this done so if anyone has any idea how I can fix it I would be extremely grateful!! (btw, I am a total newbie when it comes to websites; I know my way around Swift though)
It seems that different domain providers accept different values for DNS entries ('A records' = 'A-Datensätze', in this case).
Try editing the entries for the Host field (which currently hold your website's URL) to one of the 'common inputs' listed here: https://firebase.google.com/docs/hosting/custom-domain?hl=de#domain-key
As the URL to your site doesn't seem to be what your provider accepts, I would suggest you try replacing it with the next option, i.e. replacing it with # .
Hope this helps solving your issue!
I'm a complete newb in this field, so started with the tutorial in the documentation. This is the page where I'm having problem.
I'm able to create the welcome dialog, and changes in the anything_else dialog are reflecting fine. But when I create a new dialog and set the trigger to the intent, it does not work. I've tried typing in the name, copy pasting it, clicking on (create new condition) and not. Tried different browsers and restarted project too.
There is a dropdown on the text that I type in the bot panel that says choose intent name and gives the list of two intents I've made. When I try clicking on the intent it's supposed to be in, I get this error :
Unable to change the intent. Error: Unique Violation: The value "good morning" already exists
I don't know what I'm doing wrong and googling it gives no result! Comment sections on different websites too seem to be having no problem with it as well.
Any help is appreciated!

Based on attached JSON, your problem is that Watson conversation is stuck in the training process (if the pink message is showing a long time, that means he stuck).
I cannot explain why it happened. But I know the solution, just use "conversation_start" instead of "welcome" trigger
Most probably, you placed "anything_else" node above your intent node.
Anything_else should be the latest node, because watson is executing it sequentional, once he will find match, it will go into.
Be sure, that you have the same order:
I am trying to create my own gtk3 application. I like to use mallard to display some help about how to use my application. However I do not know how to code such that when the help menu item is clicked the help (mallard) is shown. I have the .page files already ready.
Please note, I am not asking how to create help files using mallard. But rather how to integrate mallard into my gtk3 help.
Good question. In cases like this, I always look on git.gnome.org to see how Gedit does it. That's an excellent 'example' application.
First, look here at how they organize their help files:
help
\--C
| \--*.page
\--Makefile.am
\--ar
\--bg
\--ca
\--...other languages...
In help/Makefile.am, they use #YELP_HELP_RULES# to install the files (which is set up by YELP_HELP_INIT in configure.ac.)
Then, when the user clicks Help/Contents, they open the URI help:gedit or help:gedit/link_id with gtk_show_uri() (see here, in the functions gedit_app_show_help_impl() and gedit_app_help_link_id_impl()) The files are then, presumably, automatically fetched by the desktop help system, translated into the proper language, and displayed in Yelp.
In lib\RT\CustomFieldValues\ there is the groups.pm file which is supposed to be an example of how to get data into a custom field, but how do I actually use that once I have written it? Does anyone have any documentation or a sample of this?
I have finally figured it out, to use the Groups.pm module you need to go to /opt/rt3/etc and edit the RT_SiteConfig.pm and add the line
Set(#CustomFieldValuesSources, "RT::CustomFieldValues::Groups");
Restart Apache and it will be available as a new field source.
I have written a blog post on doing this which also includes details on how to build your own module in case anyone is interested in doing this: AD Lookup Control in Request Tracker
