Aem Event on View Properties in Touch UI - aem

I have a custom multifield JS where I am populating it on dialog ready event.
The same multifield is used in Page Properties field also.
In touch UI when we are viewing the properties of page from sites my custom code doesn't kick in as it's not a dialog.
Can any body help in knowing what is the even when we click on view properties?

Try the event foundation-contentloaded this event might be triggered twice for page properties, so please protect your code against that by making sure it only runs once.

View Properties opens the page in full view instead of a dialog or modal. For touch UI the events are jQuery based events.
You can use document ready event handler for full page
$( document ).ready(function() {
// Handle stuff here
});

Propagate drop events from TinyMCE editor to the parent element

I have a TinyMCE editor embedded in a page in which the outer element has an ondrop handler that uploads dropped files.
However, if the user drops a file on the TinyMCE editor, the parent handler is never called. Regardless of whether I enable or disable drag-drop in the editor, the event never propagates to the parent element.
Is there a way to propagate an ondrop event from the TinyMCE editor to the surrounding element?
The editor itself is an iFrame so if you want to propagate the event you need to make sure you are passing it to the parent if you want the page to get the event.
Perhaps you can make a TinyMCE Fiddle or CodePen of what you are doing so people can see what you have tried?

How to unregister GWT eventbus handlers in a Popup/DialogBox?

I have a dialog box, which contains a button and a TabLayoutPanel. The button is outside the TabLayoutPanel. Tab contents are separate custom widgets.
The problem: I want to respond to clicks on the button by performing an action inside one of the tab content widgets.
I tried using the GWT EventBus this way:
fire an event upon button click
add handler for this event inside the tab
But here's the problem: if I close/open the tab multiple times, the event handler will be registered again. And when the button is clicked, the event handler will start multiple times (for every handler registration/however many times the tab was opened).
Since my dialog box doesn't have an activity/place, I cannot use GWT's Activity.start(... EventBus eventBus) for automatic activity deregistration.
A possible solution is to manually remember registered HandlerRegistration(s) and .removeHandler() them when I navigate away from the tab. But this is a rather ugly solution.
Question: Is there a way to unregister events in a dialog box without remembering them?
It's hard to give a concrete answer without code, but I'd do it like this:
Add ClickHandler to the button when the Popup/Dialog gets opened.
If this button is clicked, check which tab is the active one and call a specific method on the widget in that tab.
getSelectedIndex() and getWidget(index) should be the methods on the TabLayoutPanel to use to determine which widget is the active one.
Unregister the clickhandler after the Popup/Dialog got closed.
This way, you have only one Handler to remove what should be the normal way, e.g. with the onClose() event of the DialogBox.

Event handler tab control with jQuery

I have a survey with many input elements, and I have a progress bar that shows how much of the survey that has been filled out/answered by having a click event on the input elements. This works fine until someone use tab control to navigate through the form. Is there a tab control event, or some other event that I can use to track this behaviour?
Use the event focus to capture when the user is tabbing around in your controls:
$.on("focus", "input", function() { });

Tinymce - Event on set the carret inside textarea

Which is the event when you set the caret inside tinymce editor? For some reason, Click event works only for the first click. Is there any other event except click?
You could use the focus onActivate event. For a full list of possible tinymce events check out this page and have a look on the right side of the page, there is a list.

Display Additional Form on Update - RadGrid

I'm using a RadGrid for changing record status's. Users have the ability to select a status from a dropdown and update that record with that status. Depending on the status chosen, when the user clicks update I want to popup an additional form so the user can fill out more data required for the update. I'm not sure the best way to go about implementing this. Any suggestions are appreciated.
One way is to use the RadWindow like a modal and pop it up to the user via client-side JavaScript. We use RadWindows in our applications and it works. Or, the RadWindow supports a Nested Grid or View that you can have as a record's child; so you can have the master record, click on the arrow on the left and expand the record to view a nested grid of data, or a custom view (via the NestedViewTemplate property). You can also have the form in a DIV, hide it, then show it via JavaScript too.
Those are two ways.
