Since upgrading to VSCode 1.5.1 (from 1.4), I get an error message saying "connect EACCES 191.238.172.191:443" whenever starting VSCode. I've turned off the various documented privacy settings and blocked VSCode in my firewall (because my internet is usually slow and expensive). That URL seems to point to Microsoft, Brazil. Is there any way to stop VSCode 1.5.1 from trying to phone home?

I'm trying to remotely connect to a server (running on Ubuntu 16.04.7 LTS) through VSCode (started on WSL).
I've set the path to my WSL Config file (with the SSH keys inside) in VSCode Remote-SSH.
I can reach and connect to the server through the terminal as well as the VSCode terminal.
Yet, when trying to connect through Remote-SSH I'm getting the message

Already tried setting up manually the vscode server remotely as suggested here
Thanks in advance for any help!
Seems things got messed up with the update.
I fixed it by reinstalling the Remote SSH extension: ms-vscode-remote.remote-ssh and reloading as you will be instructed to do.
I also just installed the entire Remote Development extension: ms-vscode-remote.vscode-remote-extensionpack and reloaded vscode as instructed by vscode.
Before this though, I deleted (rm -rf) the contents of /home/<your_username>/.vscode-server/ bin/ and data/
Had the same problem.
After trying everything, the only thing that worked 100% was just killing vs-code and opening it again.
I have installed Node.js to start with an ionic project.
I have also installed ionic and cordova using the commands below:
npm install ionic -g
npm install cordova -g
I am using the command below to create an ionic project:
ionic start myApp blank
And i m getting the following error:
D:\IonicWork>ionic start myApp blank

Mind letting us know? https://github.com/driftyco/ionic-cli/issues
Please suggest.

If you are on a company network, you are most probably behind a corporate web proxy. There are plenty of solution out there.
For a headstart, you need to add http_proxy and https_proxy environment variables based on the proxy you got from your company IT department.
Open your node command prompt in administrator mode and run following command. After that, close and restart your node command prompt and try to run ionic start again.
npm config set proxy http://proxy.company.com:8080
npm config set https-proxy http://proxy.company.com:8080
Better to start in ionic creator.and its the better place for design also
Im getting this error::
Any help would be great, thanks in advance

also, removed temp file data.
rm -rf ~/.vagrant.d/tmp/box*
download the box using the --insecure flag, something like
vagrant box add ubuntu/trusty64 --insecure
and replace ubuntu/trusty64 by the name of the box you are downloading
I have installed

ionic
After Installation I created a project as
$ionic start myApp
$cd myApp
$ionic serve

What is the problem?
Update your ionic version
npm install -g ionic
or
npm install -g ionic#1.1.7
or
npm install -g ionic#1.1.9-beta1
Yes, I got the solution
I needed to use the following code before using
$ ionic serve
first, type
$ionic address
it will show
1)your IP-Address
2)localhost
select 1st option i.e. your IP-Address
and now, you can go with $ionic serve
its, working now.
Thanks All.
