How can i replace the "online text" editor by several custom form fields (free text, drop-down, check boxes) that the learners have to complete?
You will need to create a custom assignment submission plugin https://docs.moodle.org/dev/Assign_submission_plugins (or find an existing plugin that does what you want - https://moodle.org/plugins/browse.php?list=category&id=42 ).

I want to customize moodle course/edit_form.php file and add some more fields and remove some existing fields. Is this possible to do without changing core files?
I followed this article but didn't find anything helpful https://docs.moodle.org/dev/Form_API
You can create a plugin that has a form which saves extra information about the courses and then you can show those fields by overriding the course renderer in the theme.
is there a way to have prefilled attributes notes in enterprise architect?
It should be something like this scenario:
1) I create new attribute
2) Enterprise architect prefill note of attribute with predefined text
Something like template for attributes.
Thank you for any advice
I know this won't help directly this question.
Anyways you can achieve it through an external addin.
All you need to do is handle the EA_OnPreNewAttribute and EA_OnPostNewAttribute broadcast events .
This isn't quite what you're after but it is possible to create an Attribute stereotype in a Profile and add to this a Tag with an initial value set to what ever you want. When you create an attribute with this stereotype, this means your predefined text would appear in a tag-value for the attribute rather than the note. Not ideal, but might work for you.
You could also have a go at writing some JavaScript to do this as well (under Scripting in EA). You'd have to use the JS to navigate the repository structure, find the attributes in question, and update their note. I don't believe you can attach a script to a UI event, so I think you'd be stuck running this post-hoc rather than having the note auto-populate on attribute creation.
How can I create a custom wizard in TCA so that, I can click on add button to create a particluar specific plugin on a page? my TYPO3 Version is 7.6.
click on the image. There is a add button
You can make a custom wizard on your own or use an existing one. Here you can find examples of existing ones and an example to create a custom one: https://docs.typo3.org/typo3cms/TCAReference/7.6/AdditionalFeatures/WizardsConfiguration/Index.html#user-defined-wizard-processing-with-php-function
Note this code area has been rewritten with core v8 - much more powerful 'wizards' are possible, called 'node expansion' and they come with a better API. For details see https://docs.typo3.org/typo3cms/CoreApiReference/ApiOverview/FormEngine/Rendering/Index.html#node-expansion and the according sections from TCA Reference for details.
Hi I need to add Custom User Field (Dropdown) in Moodle. I know I can add it through https://docs.moodle.org/24/en/User_profile_fields and https://docs.moodle.org/dev/User_profile_fields
I went ahead with above method and added dropdown accordingly. However, when I see it in database, {user_info_field} it shows only one row with my select fields seperated by new line. Screenshot is listed.
I want these params to be appear in separate rows. Because, I've few development in pipeline which involves creation of custom invoicing plugin that allows to store pricing for each university.
That is how dropdown fields store their options in Moodle - all the values, separated by newlines.
If you want a list of possible values, retrieve mdl_user_info_field.param1 then use explode("\n", $fieldvalue).
I Used in built cohort system to categorized users in different University. Here I didn't have to create custom profile field.
For invoicing plugin, I will manipulate same cohorts (in my case University) by creating local plugin which adds tables to database field. Thank you all for your help.
I am developing a JIRA plugin and I'm trying to add a custom field to the Add project page. As far as I know, a custom field can be added only for an issue. Is it possible to add a custom field (a text field or a select list) at a project level?
I have found an plugin, which is able to add metadata on Project level.
Please take a glimpse at this link
Short answer: doable but not particularly easily
The way you do this is to write a WebWork plugin that changes the Java class that handles that webpage. The process is that the actions.xml file contains the AddProjects.jspa, e.g.
<action name="project.AddProject" alias="AddProject" roles-required="admin">
<view name="error">/secure/admin/views/addproject.jsp</view>
<view name="input">/secure/admin/views/addproject.jsp</view>
</action>
which tells you that the class name is AddProject, which you can extend to handle the user setting a value in this new field. Then you also need to decide how you're going to store values for each project (more info in the Practical JIRA Plugins or JIRA Development Cookbook books). The hardest part here is that the template files are .jsp files which you can't change directly with a plugin. What I usually do is write a ServletFilter to inject JavaScript to change the AddProjects page that way.
There is no elegant way, but you possibly can use Custom Project Properties for JIRA plugin.
This plugin allows to:
define list of custom fields for projects
define custom fields per project
fill custom fields on project administration page
