mapbox gl js disable controls - mapbox-gl-js

Is there a way to hide/remove or disable controls such as the controls from mapbox-gl-draw?
I add the draw control as follows
draw = mapboxgl.Draw({
drawing: true,
displayControlsDefault: false,
controls: {
polygon: true,
trash: true
}
});
map.addControl(draw);
Once a polygon is drawn I want to disable or hide the control, hence is no longer possible to draw another polygon.

You can actually disable the draw buttons (individually or as a group) with a little DOM interaction. In short, you can find the native CSS class for the draw menu ('mapbox-gl-draw_polygon', 'mapbox-gl-draw_point', etc.), add the disabled property, and add a CSS class with 'disabled'/grayed out styling. Currently in 2020 you should use
mapboxDraw = new MapboxDraw({....
map.addControl(mapboxDraw);
map.removeControl(mapboxDraw);

The remove method for controls is not bound to the map object, but you can remove it by calling remove() on the control object. https://jsfiddle.net/9o9mknqh/

You can always hide the control (if that's what you want) like this.

You must handle how the control is updated after this control. As in react, if you create your own component for the MapboxDraw, you can simply change the params and let it re-render itself.

Removing the thick blue boundary lines from the leaflet output map / Preventing the map to partly disappear when a pop-up appears

I created a map of Africa that shows all of Africa's administrative divisions. The purpose of this map is to show its users in which country each of the African languages is spoken.
When I try to export it to a web map, it adds a thick blue line that represents the boundaries of these divisions. How can I remove the thick blue line?
Another problem this map has is that when I hover over any of the divisions, a pop up appears that contains info about that division. The popup causes the map to move lower in order to fit. How can I prevent it?
The expected result that I have in mind is that when the users hover over any of the administrative divisions a pop up appears which provides the name of the division and the language that is spoken in that division.
SO I have tried:
Checking if there is anywhere in my files where I can set the "Autopan" into false
Using leaflet-responsive-popup
Using Openlayers instead of Leaflet
But none of them worked. Currently what I am doing is deleting some columns.
I would appreciate any help or idea that can help me with fixing the issue.
The version of the QGIS that I am using is 3.16.1 - Hannover and the version of QGIS2WEB is 3.16.0.

The implemantaion of the following depends how you import your data, but in gernal to disable the border you have to set stroke to false:
polygon.setStyle({stroke: false});
But I think you import your data into a L.GeoJSON group. Then you have to add stroke: false to your style function
To prevent that the map is moving when the popup is displayed you have to set autoPan to false.

Leaflet Draw preventing click on elements while is active

I have several days fighting this with no luck. I'm using leaflet 1.4.0 along with leaflet.draw 1.0.4. Instead of using the L.control.draw UI, I'm using my own buttons to create polygons and rectangles. It works perfectly on desktop browsers (except IE, of course), but fails on iPads, Android tablets (I've not checked on phones), even if you switch the latest Chrome to emulate a mobile device (using the 'toogle device toolbar' on the dev tools) it fails.

Using Chrome with the 'toggle device' off, click on the 'start poly' button. Cursor changes to a cross and a label 'click and drag to draw rectangle'. Click on the 'cancel' button, the cursor goes back to the regular arrow.
Now turn on 'toggle device' on Chrome dev tools and choose 'responsive' or any of the 'iPhone' or 'iPads'. Click on the 'start poly' button. Cursor changes to the cross. Try to click on the 'cancel' button. Nothing happens. It doesn't receive the click event. The only way to cancel this is actually drawing the rectangle.
Any ideas?

I found this is a bug on the leaflet.draw library. So I followed the trail, and in the line 1260 of the leaflet.draw 1.0.4 the following code causes the problem:

Basically instead of preventing the touchstart event on the document, now is applied only to the map object.

In Leaflet, how to make a style the default style from now on

I have geoJson map regions rendered on a map with an initial opacity. I have a slider to change that opacity on the fly.
Here is the bit where I set the opacity on the fly (typescript), which I perform on the input change event within my custom leaflet control:

I also have the ability to hover over the regions, in which case I lower the opacity and put a border on the active region when they hover.
When they leave the region, it currently uses resetStyles on that region to reset it back to the previous style. I set this up in the options onFeature callback. The region is highlighted in the mouseover event, and reset in the mouseout event, as seen below.

The problem is, if I have used setStyle to set the opacity to a different value, then I go into a region, then I leave the region again, calling resetStyle resets the style back to the original default style, before the change to the opacity was made.
Is it possible to set the default style on the layer, so that calling resetStyle will set the styles to my value with the new opacity, and not to the original opacity set when the region was created? How would I do that?
The resetStyle method of a Leaflet GeoJSON Layer Group re-applies the style that was applied at the time of creation of that group, or the default one if you did not provide style:
Resets the given vector layer's style to the original GeoJSON style, useful for resetting style after hover events.
If you later change the style of one or all of the vector layers in that group, it will be therefore overridden when you use resetStyle, and the initial style will be applied.
An easy workaround is simply to modify the GeoJSON Layer Group's style option as well. However, it will affect all its child layers:

(that is what is suggested in #GabyakaGPetrioli's answer, but you have to apply it on the group, not on individual features)
Another solution would be to record the new style of each vector layer, and use that recorded value when you want to restore the previous state, instead of using the group's resetStyle method.

What you want is a "control" that switches layers. Mapbox-GL-JS doesn't include such a thing, nor is there one listed as a plugin (yet).
You should use Mapbox-GL-JS's iControl class to create the control, then add styling and behaviour following Mapbox's instructions:

How to draw a polyline using the mouse and leaflet.js

I would like to draw a polyline on a map with leaflet. The basic gesture that I would like to apply is:
User clicks and holds on the mouse button -> that defines the first marker. If the user holds the mouse button, and moves the mouse, a corresponding "rubber band" is displayed.
User releases the mouse button -> a second marker is added to the map and the 2 markers are linked by a line.
Starting from the second marker, the user can continue building a second line using the the same procedure as above.
The final result should be the set of coordinates/markers, linked by a polyline.
