how can I show/hide an included (fx-include) control?
<fx:include fx:id="testCaseComboboxUI" source="TestCaseComboboxUI.fxml" visible="false" managed="false"/>
I would like to show or hide the above conditionally. Something like testCaseComboboxUI.setVisible(true)?
Many thanks
Never mind, I was able to find the answer
#FXML private Parent testCaseComboboxUI;

anyone know if sapui5 provide solution/function to change button style in select dialog? I've checked the SAPUI5 sdk but there is none for this solution.
If you are OK with using "private" properties then you can use _oOkButton property of SelectDialog or else you can use _getOkButton function which also is kind of "private" and returns ok button instance.
Just use the instance of the Select Dialog and get all buttons using the following methods. Select Dialog is a dialog only, you can use the methods of sap.m.Dialog
Let say you have the instance of the dialog as oSlectDialog then
oSlectDialog.getButtons() - will return all the Buttons in the footer. You can use loop them and give custom class accordingly.
var oBtns = oSlectDialog.getButtons()
for(var b in oBtns) {
var oBtn = oBtns[b];//You can check for button instance, if you want to add custom class differently.
oBtn.addStyleClass("YourCustomClass");
}
You can also use the sap.m.Dialog methods like oSlectDialog.getBeginButton(), oSlectDialog.getEndButton().
Since UI5 1.62.0, the primary action OK (later renamed to Select) is automatically emphasized if the theme is sap_fiori_3.
https://openui5.hana.ondemand.com/#/entity/sap.m.SelectDialog/sample/sap.m.sample.SelectDialog
If it's not urgent, I'd suggest to avoid relying on private methods/ properties, but update to the latest UI5 version and themes.
Update: and since 1.70 (commit:1f421b0), the button is automatically emphasized in other supported themes too, such as sap_belize, sap_belize_plus

So I have a model (Image) that belongs to another model (Product), and I want to allow a user to manage both of these two types of models, but I don't want to list the model in the navigation menu in RailsAdmin.
Basically of these two I only want Product to be visible in the navigation menu, while allowing the user to still crud their images within the edit/add form of a Product.
Is this possible with CanCan? Or do I need to use CSS to hide these navigation items?
config.model Team do
visible false
end
According to this issue, and this issue your only valid approach would be the CSS approach
I had the same issue, and unfortunately I haven't found any proper solution. The only workaround was to hack Rails Admin using javascript.
So, to hide the model Image from the navigation menu I added this code in 'app/assets/javascripts/rails_admin/custom/ui.js':
$(document).on('rails_admin.dom_ready', function() {
$('ul.nav-pills li[data-model="image"]').hide();
});
I had same issue. fixed using this css
li[data-model="event_date"] {
display:none !important;
}
in your model:
rails_admin do
visible false
end
no need to edit your rails_admin.rb file.
I have a form with save and cancel buttons, cancel button has immediate=true but it doesn't clear the submitted values in the form. I google it and I found this page http://jira.icefaces.org/browse/ICE-1343;jsessionid=2996E8791051E9D6775348E6CE1BC118, it says that the solution is to put an action listener in the cancel button that calls a function that clear the submitted values, it works partially because when I have other tags like panels it doesn't clear them.
Any solution? thanks
Check out the solution presented here : http://www.icefaces.org/JForum/posts/list/13807.page
I personally haven't found a good solution beside the two most obvious ones : manually traverse the UI components and nullify them
We used partialSubmit="true" without setting the immediate attribute to true. This works in Icefaces 1.8.2, but there is one drawback. If the validation failed once, it will be executed always.
With Icefaces 2.x, the suggested way is to use singleSubmit="true", but I haven't tried it.
I use immediate="true" and partialSubmit="true" on cancel and something like this for actionListener
public void cancelPopup(ActionEvent event) {
FacesContext.getCurrentInstance().renderResponse();
}
I don't know RCP very well yet, but I've been reading a lot of the docs. I don't know if my question makes sense; I apologize if not and beg that you try to work out what I mean and come up with some kind of answer.
I have a tree view element, which has a double click listener on it. In another part of the window there is a layout folder which contains views that are supposed to be inspectors for the items double-clicked on.
The only way I know to make another inspector appear is:
getActivePage().showView(Inspector.ID).
showView() doesn't give any opportunity to pass extra information to the view, so can it know which element to inspect?
Pointers in different directions appreciated. The Vogel tutorial doesn't seem to cover this, or I don't understand it.
You could check if the article "Link to Editor" can help you here.
That is, instead of trying to access the right view, define a Listener for the Editors:
private IPartListener2 partListener2 = new IPartListener2() {
public void partActivated(IWorkbenchPartReference ref) {
if (ref.getPart(true) instanceof IEditorPart)
editorActivated(getViewSite().getPage().getActiveEditor());
}
That way, you can get back the right Editor, and ask that Editor all you need for your View to update accordingly.
You can use the SelectionService. The Inspector view should register as a SelectionListener. And the other view with the tree should register a SelectionProvider. This view should listen for the double click in the tree and then update the selection
I can disable the table button using this:
tinyMCE.activeEditor.controlManager.get('divId_table').setDisabled(true)
but what I'm interested in is actually hiding it. Any idea on how to accomplish that?
Thank you!
First, you have to use the advanced theme.
Then, add this option in the TinyMCE init code.
tinyMCE.init({
...
theme_advanced_disable : "bold, justifyleft, justifyright"
});
I hope this might help someone.

list of elements' name here
I'm not familiar with TinyMCE myself, but since you appear to have javascript access to the element itself, all you need to do is set it's display property to "none".
document.getElementById("theButton").style.display = "none";
incase ur trying to hide a specific button, use the following code.
$('.mce_cut').hide() //hides cut button
lookup other button titles using firebug in case u wish to hide something specific.
Incase you are looking to hide specific editor's button, modifiy the jquery selector to select correct sibling/descendent.
alternately, try this ..
tinyMCE.activeEditor.controlManager.controls.ctl00_SPWebPartManager1_g_5005db96_e035_4197_a958_75f008b35061_ctl00_tbKeywords_cut.remove()
Note that ctl00_SPWebPartManager1_g_5005db96_e035_4197_a958_75f008b35061_ctl00_tbKeywords is my asp.net control's id. Don't bother about this if ur not using Asp.net serverside textbox control. In case you are.. <% theTextBoxID.ClientID %> gets u that.
Use the following (using jQuery; a non-jQuery approch is easily built):
var elem = $(ed.id+'_'+'divId_table')
elem.addClass('mceButtonDisabled');
elem.removeClass('mceButtonEnabled');
