I'm trying to publish an application to bluemix.
1. I have enabled development mode. Right click the application -> Enable Development Mode.
2. I make a change in a servlet.
3. Right click on "Bluemix Server" -> Publish.
Then it throws the error: 'Publishing to IBM Bluemix...' has encountered a problem.

If you are hitting this issue you may either:
Update your Eclipse dependencies to the latest provided by Eclipse Tools for Cloud Foundry (Eclipse CFT). In the workbench, select Help (menu item) > Check for Updates. This should provide you with a list of plug-ins to upgrade.
Or, failing this, you may install Eclipse Neon.1 or higher to resolve the issue, as Eclipse Neon.1 includes the latest version of these dependencies.

I am currently using Eclipse 2020-03 and installed eclipse RAP 3.16 using the Install New Software feature. Now when I try to launch the RAP application, the below error is seen.
An internal error occurred during: "Launching RAP_Application".

I just downloaded the most recent version of Eclipse Luna, and immediately installed the Aptana 3.0 plugin. After doing this I got a bunch of errors, the same errors as listed in this post:

Apparently there is a fix available for this, a patch can be applied from the updates for Eclipse 4.4. I found the patch Eclipse 4.4.1 Patches for bug 445122 and tried to install it. E4 RCP Patch (bugzillas 445122) 1.0.0 org.eclipse.e4.rcp.R441patch.feature.group Eclipse.org installed properly, but three others will not installed:
Equinox CORE Feature Patch (bugzillas 445122) 1.0.0
Equinox CORE SDK Patch (bugzillas 445122) 1.0.0
Equinox Server CORE Patch (bugzillas 445122) 1.0.0
and when I restart Eclipse I am still encountering the same error, it does not appear to be fixed.
I found that the patch (https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=445122) fixed all of the errors I had installing the Aptana plugin.
While installing IBM Worklight on Eclipse ADT( The Android Editor I downloaded from Google) I get following error:
org.eclipse.jst.standard.schemas 1.2.2.v201304110304 is unknown in the solver!
org.eclipse.jst.standard.schemas 1.2.2.v201304110304 is unknown in the solver!
What does it mean?
IBM Worklight 2 versions of Eclipse:
Eclipse Java EE 4.2.2 ("Juno" SR2)
Eclipse Java EE 4.3.1 ("Kepler" SR1)
Use one of the above.
I installed Eclipse and Rascal as explained on the Rascal download page (http://www.rascal-mpl.org/start/).
However, when I open the Rascal perspective I get the following error in the Rascal Navigator: "Failed to create the part's controls".
Furthermore, in the error log I get messages like:
Error
Sat Mar 22 11:26:48 CET 2014
Exception while dispatching event org.osgi.service.event.Event [topic=org/eclipse/e4/ui/model/ui/ElementContainer/selectedElement/SET] to handler org.eclipse.e4.ui.services.internal.events.UIEventHandler#37196d53
org.eclipse.swt.SWTException: Widget is disposed
I installed:
Eclipse for RCP and RAP developers (Kepler Service release 2) (eclipse.buildId=4.3.2.M20140221-1700).
Java JDK 8 (also tried with Java JDK 7).
Installed Rascal using the update site.
Which Eclipse version will work with the Rascal plugin?
This issue has been reported and fixed. Until a new release is available I suggest resetting the perspective as a quick fix. (https://github.com/cwi-swat/rascal/issues/484)
In my Eclipse, I see error messages coming in a window, and every project has a red X.
Here are some of the errors:
An internal error occurred during: "Android Library Update".
java.lang.NullPointerException
parseSdkContent failed
java.lang.NullPointerException
An internal error occurred during: "Initializing Java Tooling".
java.lang.NullPointerException
Parsing Data for android-3 failed
java.lang.NullPointerException
Why is this?
WHAT I DID: I deleted the eclipse folder and downloadd again, and now it works properly!
The error messages indicate that your Android SDK installation (outside Eclipse) is somehow corrupted. The SDK installation is in the path which you specified in Window->Preferences->Android->SDK location.
You can delete that folder (with Eclipse being closed), download a new version from http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html and run the Android SDK manager again afterwards in Eclipse (to check if there are more updates or drivers to be installed). That should fix your issues.
Your emulator devices remain untouched during this process, they are stored in a different directory.
