I've started working with the Facebook Ads API and can make an audience, campaign or adset fine over the API.
I'm having trouble when I want to retrieve the ID of something I've created in order to do something with it. Can I get this over the API? Or is it something that I have to on site?
Ideally I'd be able to retrieve the newest audience just after creating it.
I don't think Facebook provide an API id for each api call.
but you can save the api results to your data, and then reuse the data.

I’m looking for a solution to get the ad post id, in the page post, when I create an ad creative from the graph api.
I simply cannot get it through the graph api, because it’s linked to the business manager.
Any ideas, how I can get the id from the graph api - or how I can create a page post with the specifications from the ad creative.
I’ve tried almost everything, and I’m just stuck.
I can create the page post manually by copying the id and paste it into the api. But I can’t fetch it from their graph api.. or am I just missing something?
Does either the Instagram Basic Display API or the Instagram Graph API allow me to simply get any public user's posts/media programatically? Everywhere in the documentation it says "User data" but it feels like I can only get data of the user that got authenticated using the API. I've set up a Facebook dev account and currently spending 4th hour on calling both APIs without success. Can anyone who has used them help me clear this up?
Most likely, Instagram API Date 365, a tool I currently work for, may help you as an alternative to using Instagram Basic Display API or the Instagram Graph API because this API is created especially for scraping bulk data about posts and users.
You can get such post data as post content (text, language, list of hashtags, list of tagged users), owner ID, location ID,
engagement info, etc. Also, it is possible to download comments (selected or on a specific post) and replies to them.

I have successfully added Facebook login functionality to my Ionic 3 application following the Ionic docs and I can receive needed user profile data from Graph API.
Now I can't figure out how to add the check-in option.
Facebook Graph API docs say check-in is now only possible by POSTING the data with the user that has 'publish_actions' rights.
So something like this should work:
this.facebook.api("me/feed?place=123123123123", ["publish_actions"])
(where place is the Place ID of the page I want to check-in)
But it does not work because the api method only creates GET requests and there is no way to set the request method to POST
Also the cordova's Facebook plugin also doesn't seem like it supports posting to Graph API.
I can't find any examples of Ionic check-in code examples or any way of doing this.
Anyone have any experience with this?
I have all the data needed to make this Graph API request - User Id, required permissions and place Id.
Please ask if additional info is required.
/business.facebook.com/ads/manager/billing/transactions/
Thats the url id like to pull data from. I looked at all the API's, but none of them seem to offer up this data.
Try this: https://graph.facebook.com/v2.9/{business_id}/business_invoices
YES YOU CAN USIG FACEBOOK MARKETING API Marketing APIs are a collection of Graph API endpoints that can be used to help you advertise on Facebook. To get started with advertising on Facebook, we recommend you learn about Facebook's Ad Campaign Structure, to understand the objects you're working with and how they relate to each other.

Can I use the Facebook Graph API without the creation of my Facebook Application? As I understand it, for each operation I need to use the OAuth key. And I can only get user OAuth key if they authorize my Facebook application. Am I right?
I need to get user feed, and post to it.
Facebook Graph Api needs your APP ID which you can only get from your Facebook application. So i think its not possible to post data on facebook without having Application ID.
You can use this tool to dynamically generate an access_token for testing: https://developers.facebook.com/tools/explorer/
Also, check out RapidAPI here. I've specifically linked you to the FacebookGraphAPI block. Here you can instantaneously connect to numerous Facebook endpoints. The platform will generate a code snippet that you can directly insert into your code.
Depends on what you want to do, for most tasks you have to have an app id... but If you want to get the amount of shares for a certain page, for example, you can do it with no app ID.
I think there is FBML (facebooks mark up language) which you can embed on your site which can handle some basic tasks like commenting or liking.
No, You can't do that as Facebook Graph API needs access token which u can get only by authorising your logged-in user by your (Created) App in Facebook.
