TextClassification of PredictionIO WILL NOT get trained. NO MATTER WHAT - postgresql

Using Text Classification Engine of PredictionIO.
Changed the "appName" in engine.json.
Changed the code in DataSource.scala(for "Event" & "EntityType. Label & Text properties are of same form for each event in JSON file)
Changed Evaluation.scala(for "appName")
Using PostgreSQL. Had to keep Driver jar in Spark Lib folder. "pio import" worked only after that. Can see data in table pio_event_1. http://localhost:7070/events.json?accessKey= returns records.
Engine got built.
THEN IT FAILS for "pio train --verbose"
Keep observing the exception as below,

Spark fails to read from Elasticsearch/Opensearch. Invalid map received dynamic_date_formats

Hi I'm trying using scala 2.11.12, spark 2.3.0 and elasticsearch-spark-20 7.7.0 to read from an OpenSearch 1.3.4 Index with the following code:
spark.read.format("org.elasticsearch.spark.sql")
.load("myIndex")
.filter('Timestamp === lit(dateToRead))
But I get this error

I've set the dynamic date mapping in opensearch. And also I am able to write to the index with the correct mapping, but when I try to read, it fails.
I found out the problem, basically The elasticsearch connector is not working properly and it tries to use ES 1.3.4 instead of Opensearch 1.3.4, to solve this problem add compatibility.override_main_response_version : true to your opensearch.yml file.

Groovy - use Grape to download documentation and sources

It's possible to use Grape to download a dependency from Maven central:
#Grab(group='org.apache.commons', module='commons-lang3', version='3.4')
Specifying a type of jar within the Grab annotation does the same thing:
#Grab(group='org.apache.commons', module='commons-lang3', version='3.4', type='jar')
and according to the javadoc, the value of type can also be javadoc and sources, however trying the following in IntelliJ:
#Grab(group='org.apache.commons', module='commons-lang3', version='3.4', type = 'sources')
results in:
org.codehaus.groovy.control.MultipleCompilationErrorsException: startup failed:
General error during conversion: Error grabbing Grapes -- [download failed: org.apache.commons#commons-lang3;3.4!commons-lang3.sources]
java.lang.RuntimeException: Error grabbing Grapes -- [download failed: org.apache.commons#commons-lang3;3.4!commons-lang3.sources]

Eclipse gives a similar error. So is there a a way to use Grape to download sources/javadoc when editing a groovy script in an IDE?
The doc you link to also mentions the possibility of using the classifier attribute, which seems to work better (Grape will indeed grab the corresponding jars):
#Grab(group='org.apache.commons', module='commons-lang3', version='3.4', classifier='sources')
However, it looks like Grape support in Idea is incomplete. In order for Idea to use the grabbed packages, you need to place your cursor on the #Grab annotation, press alt-enter and grab the artifacts manually. You could then copy them to module libraries from the projet structure's settings. That seems to do it for me, although I also feel it defies the whole point of using Grape...

Error When Trying Sample In Accessing MongoDB Data with GORM

I was following the tutorial for Accessing MongoDB Data with GORM but I am having a problem with the sample Groovy code. I copied the sample Groovy code into a file called app.groovy. When I run the code from the spring boot cli the code works fine. If I compile the code into a jar by running
spring jar my-app.jar *.groovy
and then running
java -jar my-app.jar
I get an IllegalStateException

Anyone have any idea how I fix this or what I am doing wrong?
Probably a bug: https://github.com/spring-projects/spring-boot/issues/686. Maybe a classloader thing, I'm not sure, but we'll look at it and update here when it's fixed. You should be able to use the Gradle or Maven build to create an executable JAR in the meantime.
Update: we might be able to fix this in Spring Boot and/or GORM, but in the meantime if you just declare a package in your app.groovy (e.g. package app) it should work.

NetBeans 7.4 not creating jar files properly

I am developing a project for a Java Enterprise Applications class. I have an application with an ejb module that has "facade" classes from a class library that connects to a simple Twitter-like database. All the logic is working fine, however, when I add the remote beans for the facade and try to run it, the application crashes with the stack trace included at the end.
Looking throught the GlassFish output screen, I found the following warnings:
WARNING: ACDEPL112: The following extensions or libraries are referenced from the manifest of C:\Users[project_path]\Questions\dist\gfdeploy\Questions\QuestionClient.jar but were not found where indicated: QuestionLib.jar ; ignoring and continuing
INFO: ACDEPL103: Java Web Start services started for the app client Questions/QuestionClient.jar (contextRoot: /Questions/QuestionClient)
INFO: Questions was successfully deployed in 3,097 milliseconds.
WARNING: The collection of metamodel [EntityType] types is empty. Model classes may not have been found during entity search for Java SE and some Java EE container managed persistence units. Please verify that your entity classes are referenced in persistence.xml using either elements or a global false element. The lookup on [class com.problemSet3.db.Questions] will return null.
WARNING: EJB5184:A system exception occurred during an invocation on EJB QuestionsFacade, method: public java.util.List com.problemSet3.db.AbstractFacade.findAll()
When I checked the path, I found that the .jar file mentioned exists where it should, but it is instead named QuestionLib_jar and it is a folder with all the contents of the jar file. This files are being generated by NetBeans, I don't know how the jar files are being compiled to folders instead of actual jars.
How can I fix this?

Well, after a painful night and morning I finally solved it. The persistence.xml file that was being used by the ejb module had this line:
<exclude-unlisted-classes>false</exclude-unlisted-classes>
I went into the properties and made it include each class manually, so now it looks like this:
<class>com.problemSet3.db.Answers</class>
<class>com.problemSet3.db.Questions</class>
<class>com.problemSet3.db.Users</class>
<exclude-unlisted-classes>true</exclude-unlisted-classes>
plus the other generated code. I still get the warning on GlassFish, but no exceptions are thrown.

I am running an application that uses classes generated from a WSDL using wsimport. As I've encountered NoClassDefFoundError I've added the appropriate jar files to the Eclipse build.
However I'm stymied now with a missing interface:

While I'm looking for the Jar file that implements this interface. I'm more troubled by the number and type of missing classes that the generated code seems to require. One missing class was the Java Python interpreter (which I resolved by adding . I'm wondering if I'm heading into a place I don't want to be and should review my Eclipse project. I'm not sure where to start doing that so I'm asking for some advice on how to keep from going down the road to jar hell.
Update: I've changed from using wsdlimport artifacts to using wsdl2java and it's generated code. It's working but I'd still like some advice for the future.
