Currently when I use TinyMce4.5.1 with Link plugin. I cannot find a way to hide default URL options(#top, #bottom) even I set property link_list to false. Is there a proper way for me to do this besides hacking the original source code?
Just figured out.
'anchor_bottom': false,
'anchor_top': false

In my app I using tinymce plugin for adding some files from local machine - link plugin. And it works great, but, there is one section - target, that I want to hide from users.
Because I'm just using '_blank' as default and type 'none' make some troubles.
In documentation I can't find option for hide this section. So I try to hide this by css. Unfortunately id and classes are dynamic, so it was bad idea with css 'display:none'.
It's possible to hide this section somehow?
You can remove the target list altogether by placing this in your TinyMCE configuration:
target_list: false
That is documented here: https://www.tinymce.com/docs/plugins/link/#target_list
To disable the option dialog set target_list to false
SWFU.selectFile() doesn't work anymore due to changes in security model.
User click on the movie opens the dialog but I need to inhibit multi-select.
I have tried the following options to no avail:
file_upload_limit
file_queue_limit
It is not evident to me from the documentation which option inhibits multi-select. Can anyone advise?
Found it in the source code, searching for "button". The default is
button_action: SWFUpload.BUTTON_ACTION.SELECT_FILES
and there is a value defined
SWFUpload.BUTTON_ACTION.SELECT_FILE
I have an eclipse plugin and I would like to programmatically disable help content TOC's based on a variable I define. In a nut shell, I want to prevent some help docs from showing up in the help contents if a specific type of user is accessing the plugin.
Preferably I would like to do this in the ApplicationWorkbenchAdvisor somewhere.
One thought would be to modify the "primary" value to be false if the variable were set.
Not sure if it would work, but try using the org.eclipse.ui.activities extension point. The tutorial from Vogella tells it is possible to hide only UI elements like wizards, views and so on, but it is from 2009.. Not sure if hiding TOC is now possible. If you try it out, would be nice to give a feedback ;)
im using TinyMCE Wysiwyg editor, and when i enter a link, or an image from the same website, it removes the base url
for example, if i enter: http://www.domain.com/somelink.php - i'll get - somelink.php
any ideas how to solve it?
thanks!
Add this few lines in your tinyMCE.init function :
convert_urls:true,
relative_urls:false,
remove_script_host:false,
(Old thread I know but in case anyone else is googling this:)
I had to set convert_urls to false as well.
I am using TinyMCE within Umbraco, so I needed to make the changes in /config/tinyMceConfig.config and then restart the website.
It's very easy to solve.
Instead of Epharion said, simply put this line in your tinyMCE.init function:
tinyMCE.init({
...
document_base_url : "http://www.site.com/path1/"
});
How can I disable tinyMCE?
I'm not trying to make tinyMCE not exist, just trying to disable the field temporarily using PrototypeJS's Form.disable.
Is there a particular way to mark a field disabled for editing?
One option is to use the plugin 'noneditable'
Or you could investigate the 'mode: exact' setting and only setting it on the exact id of the form field you want to control.
Your use case isn't really clear, so hope the above tips work.
