In a repo that I'm working on, new tags are created at every merge. So there are tags on all the commits, which creates a problem in finding branch names in the list, I want to hide all the tags at once as there are too many (1k+) to remove one by one.
In version 3.6.0, the following feature was added:
Reduce the drag on your graph by using the new context menu option to Hide all tags
Right clicking any single tag will provide the options to Hide/Show all tags along with hiding and soloing the individual tag.

In a situation where, for instance, a user creates a new news_item content under a news content that already has several items of the news_item type (or any other type, for that matter), the new content will be added to the bottom of the already existing volume of news_item content.
However, after adding several dozens of content-items, it's pretty annoying for the user to scroll all the way down to find the most recent item (and then often reorder it to get it all the way to the top).
Is there a setting somewhere that you can manipulate in order to make Sulu add new content to the top instead of to the bottom of an existing body of content?
I am sorry to say that this is currently not possible... Except you try to override some behavior, but I don't think that can be done in a reasonable amount of time...
I want to Customize AEM Touch UI Timeline list, Means I need to add one more value along with existing one
Anybody knows where is the code for that inside CRXDE?
If you are searching for the header level Timeline as shown in the below image
the following are the paths that you are looking for.
Selection dropdown filter
/libs/cq/core/content/projects/jcr:content/rails/timeline/items/timeline/items/filter
component
CORAL:
/libs/cq/gui/components/coral/common/admin/timeline/

I've noticed that some organizations on GitHub have different labels that they can apply to issues.
For example, one organization that I am a part of allows any of these labels to be applied:
However, on my personal account, I am limited to only these labels, and I can't find a way to create my own custom ones:
Any ideas on how I can go about creating my own?
It looks like you might be accessing GitHub on a mobile device, which likely exposes a somewhat different interface.
On the full web interface, simply navigate to https://github.com/:user/:repo/labels and click the green "New label" button at the top right. Existing labels can be edited or deleted on the same page.
You can also get to this page by clicking on "issues" and then "labels".
Here's a quick GIF to make the process as easy as it can be. (recorded at my GitHub profile)

Labels can be applied to issues and pull requests to signify priority, category, or any other information that you find useful.
▶ On GitHub, navigate to the main page of the repository.
Under your repository name, click Issues or Pull requests.
Issues Labels buttonNext to the search field, click Labels.
Click New Label to create a new label, or click Edit to edit an existing one.
In the text box, type your new label name.
Select a color for the label from the color bar. You can customize this color by editing the hexadecimal number above the color bar.
Click Create Label to save the new label.
I hope it helps. Upvote it if it does.
The ui makes it hard to find!
You should be able to go to https://github.com/your_username/your_repo/labels
There's a github blog post that explains this in detail.

If you find yourself doing this a lot, then you might want to try using my python script (or creating something similar) so that you can set up your own labels for each new repository...

It is easy to define a sidebar on GitHub's wiki page by creating _Sidebar.md file in the root and the sidebar will be automatically appended to every page. But what if we would like to hide it on certain pages, is there any way to achieve this?
This feature seems to not be available for GitHub wikis.
I have also tried the empty _Sidebar.md file as suggested by lucifurious, but all it does is create an empty (blank) sidebar below the "Pages" one.
I developed a Sitecore control I'd like to put into a layout on one page.
In this case it's a registration page, and my control is defined as a sublayout.
What I did is went into the Page Editor interface, and plonked the control into one of the placeholders.
What I want to do now is to create a package only containing the information that this control is on this particular page, without affecting e.g. the content or subitems of this node.
Can you please advise on the best way to create such packag, what exactly to select in the Package Designer?
Thanks
I don't believe the Package Designer gives you granular control to include just specific fields of an item. You need to add the item as whole.
You should configure layouts and renderings in the presentation details of an item OR even better in the __Standard Values of the template.
You can call the presentation details dialog through the content editor. Just select an item in the content tree, click on the Presentation tab in the top ribbon and select Details. You can configure all layouts/renderings for the selected item here.
But ff you want to prevent content changes you really SHOULD configure the presentation in the __Standard Values of the template. This is also the way, which is recommended by Sitecore. If you do this, the layouts are all you have to put into a package.
