Audit Baselines in Enterprise Architect - enterprise-architect

I am wondering if it is possible to view the entire project's baselines that were made in an overall EA project over time similar to the Auditing feature. I know baselines can be viewed for particular packages but is there a way to view all the baselines made within the whole project as to see who changed what and when?

No. A baseline just contains a model snapshot, not what someone has changed. This is only available with the Audit feature. Or maybe LieberLieber's Lemontree is worth a look. I just know that they provide git-integration but don't know how that would work (looks rather like black magic or voodoo to me since that means XMI merging).
The only thing you can get from EA are the names of the baselines and such information (e.g. ProjectInterface.GetBaselines and the like).
To get the baselines themselves just perform this SQL:
Repository.SQLQuery("SELECT * FROM t_document WHERE ElementType = 'Baseline'")
The column BinContent contains the packed baseline as XMI export. The rest should be obvious.

how to quickly locate which sheets/dashboards contain a field?

I am creating a data dictionary and I am supposed to track the location of any used field in a workbook. For example (superstore sample data), I need to specify which sheets/dashboards have the [sub-category] field.
My dataset has hundreds of measures/dimensions/calc fields, so it's incredibly time exhaustive to click into every single sheet/dashboard just to see if a field exists in there, so is there a quicker way to do this?
One robust, but not free, approach is to use Tableau's Data Catalog which is part of the Tableau Server Data Management Add-On

Change Properties of multiple diagrams in Enterprise Architect

I would like to change the properties of multiple diagrams together rather than clicking on them one by one. Does anyone know how this can be achieved?
You can use the scripting facility of Enterprise Architect to loop the diagrams you would like to change and update them.

You could write a SQL to manipulate your database. t_diagram.PDATA holds a long cryptic string where one part is ScalePI=0; (which is the default for no scaling). You can alter that to be ScalePI=1; (meaning scale to one page).
String manipulations vary from database to database. So you need to write your own which you can execute in a script using
Repository.Execute("UPDATE t_diagram ...")
Note that you should test this in a sandbox first since invalid SQLs can easily disrupt your whole repository.

Can we add a comment column next to the Change column in Audit View of EA?

Is there a provision to store user entered comment during modification to the “Model” which can be shown in the “Audit View” along with “Original” and “CHANGE” columns of EA.

You can not easily do that. You might modify the underlying database and add columns to existing tables (or even add your private tables). But that would break XMI export as these columns would not be ex-/imported and you're on your own to maintain this. An alternative is to use tagged values in general cases. But here I doubt it's feasible. So probably your own table with foreign key referring the audit would be the choice. However, it merely sound like you're trying to re-build a check-in mechanism. FWIW: in practice I found this mechanism counter-productive as people tend to comment either nothing or trivialities. So that it hinders more than it helps.
You can not modify the standard dialogs (e.g. fo the shown audit view). That means you have to write an add-in to create your own dialog.
The table that contains the audit is t_snapshot.

How do I structure my project folder in eclipse for Cucumber project which has sprint wise delivery

I am trying to create an automation framework using cucumber and trying to replicate a real time scenario (sprint wise delivery).
How do I structure my folders/source folders/packages in eclipse? Below is the structure which I am about to follow but I am not quite convinced if it is right.
I am trying to structure in such a way that when I give the command
"mvn test -Dcucumber.options="src\test\resources\sprint1\features", then it should run all the features under sprint1, similarly for sprint2 and so on.
Any suggestions or inputs would be helpful.
P.S: Since I am new to cucumber, a detailed explaination on the folder structure for real time sprint wise delivery would be much appreciated.

I would not consider the file structure you are thinking of.
The reason is that after a while, it doesn't matter when a feature was added to the system. So organizing features based on time is a bad idea.
If you still need to be able to run the features for a specific sprint, consider using tags instead. That would allow you only to run the features connected to the sprint you are interested in.
I would not to that either, because after a while it doesn't matter which sprint a piece of functionality was added. It should still pass all executions, even if it is 27 sprints old.
If this organization is bad, how should you do it instead?
This is a question where a lot of people have a lot of opinions and the debate can get very heated.
My take is that it is interesting to make sure that the code is easy to use. With that I mean easy to navigate and understand for a new developer. If you want, think of usability in any other product.
Given this, I would organize the features after functional areas in different packages. A package for each area, one for viewing products, one for ordering products, one for paying etc.
I would also try to take a step further and organize the source code in a similar way.
But I would never organize using a temporal approach as you are thinking of.
You should not organize your tests as per the sprint because a particular sprint will end on a particular time. If you want to run some feature files together for temporary basis(till the time sprint is not over), you can add tags on the top in the feature files.
For example:
You have following 2 feature files:
src/test/resources/sprint1/file1.feature
src/test/resources/sprint1/file2.feature
Just add "#sprint1" on top of each feature as shown below:

Now to run these both files you need to execute the following code in your command prompt:
cucumber --tags #sprint1
By executing this command, all the files which contains "#sprint1" tag will run. After the sprint is over, you can delete this extra tag from feature files

What is deliverbl in UCM ClearCase?

I am wondering about 'deliverbl', how important are they for historical purposes or during development? All I know is they are created during delivery and includes activies.
If i am exporting major baselines from Clearcase to different SCM, should I consider 'deliverbl' as major baseline?
There are representing merges (from a child stream to another stream), so:
they should be considered, as they show the code "merged" (with potential conflicts resolved)
but you might have more trouble to export the merge hyperlink which shows the source of the merge
I like to export those baselines because their naming convention shows the stream destination name, as well as the date of the deliver, so you are left with clues about a merge between two branches.
However, their are unlabelled, so you might:
either need to convert those to a full baseline (cleartool chbl -full)
or decide to not bother with them and leave those out of your export.
