ng2-bootstrap modal hides scroll bar - modal-dialog

I am trying to implement a modal for my application. I am using ng2-bootstrap of valor-software. Whenever the modal shows, it hides the scroll bar of the webpage and the backdrop takes the whole browser area. Due to it, the content shown in the background shifts to the right. And when i close the modal the scroll bar appears and the content shifts to its original place. I do not want my content to move right and left whenever i open the modal. Is this a bug or is there a way to make it so that the scroll bar does not get hidden when the modal opens? Please kindly point me in the right direction.

How to disable parallax when a bootstrap modal is opened?

My website home page uses parallax. I have a button in my home page which opens a modal when clicked. The problem is if I scroll over the modal to see overflown modal body content, the background i.e html body starts scrolling. Clicking or hovering over the modal doesn't make any difference. But when I disable parallax modal works perfectly.
How can I achieve default modal functionality thereby keeping parallax feature also ?

NavigationBar Right Button Problem

I have a navigation bar in my app. The below pictures are in the order of navigation.
Problem I have is, on clicking the "Main" button , I am able to perform the action and goto the required screen , but the navigation bar does not look like the first on (with Menu as left button). Instead it look like 4th image. How to make it look like first image so that I can make the user to navigate to "Menu" screen by clicking menu button ?. Thanks for the help …!!!
If I'm understanding this correctly, you may have pushed the first view controller (The one from screenshot 1) when clicking on main which is why you see "lens" in the back button. That back button takes the title of the previous view controller in the stack. What you want to do is pop to the first view controller when they click on Main using either popToRootViewController or popToViewController:animated

Implement UIToolBar so it acts like a UITabBar and UIToolBar at the same time

I have an interesting problem. I have an app that I'm developing that involves photos so screen space is at a premium. Also, using disappearing and reappearing nav / tool bar controllers (like in the camera app) doesn't make sense for me. In a perfect world, I'd use a UITabBar to switch between the 4 main navigational view controllers that my program implements, however I also am going to need space for a toolbar right on top of the tab bar most of the time. These two components take up too much space between the two of them so I need a way to save some space.
That's where I came up with the idea of using a toolbar to implement the functionality of both the TabBar and ToolBar. On the left side of the ToolBar would be the 4 buttons that allow access to my 4 main navigational view controllers. The one that is currently on the window would have it's button depressed. Then there would be a divider, and on the right side of the tool bar would be buttons specific to whatever view is currently on the window.
Anyhow, I'm just wondering if anyone has any clever ideas on how they'd implement this?
wat do u mean by left and right of toolbar??? adding a tab bar will not affect ur view size. when adding a toolbar, well yes it does affect ur view size.
my idea wolud be add a toolbar to the top of ur view and u can make it visible only when the user taps on the screen. until then keep the toolbar hidden. when the user clicks for the second time on the screen hide ur toolbar. this way u can have the whole view for ur pics and also have a toolbar for giving options.

Hidden UITabBar

I'm writing an app that has a 5 item TabBar. When launching, I want the app to show the contents of the view for the first item, without showing the Tabbar. I want a hidden button to cover the full screen so that when I tap anywhere the TabBar pops up from the bottom. I then want it to hide itself again after a few seconds.
I guess it isn't vital that it not show the TabBar on launch if it will hide itself after the predetermined time frame.
I'm new to programming, and I'm having difficulty making this happen. I've looked at the suggestions for similar questions, but they don't seem to help. Any suggestions for making this happen?
Look at the example code "The Elements". It hides the tab bar when you select an element.

How to present a modal view controller with fixed UIToolbar?

I am trying to set up a Modal View Controller, that that lies below a fixed toolbar. therefore the toolbar is supposed to stay on top while the modal view rolls in.
the Safari-App does that for example, when hitting the bookmarks-button. the toolbar stays, the buttons change..
I tried a couple of things like pushing the toolbar to the front and ended up not using the presentModalViewController method at all, and animating the new View manually into a subview instead. but that brought a couple of other issues along.
I'm not sure what you are saying, when you press add bookmark in safari, a new modal view shows with no tool bar. The navigation bar at the top is not a tool bar if that is what you mean. They are UIToolbarItem set into self.navigationItem.
All modal views I've seen are animated until they take up the whole of the screen. Those modal-like views that only scroll up to a certain point in some apps, are done by hand. Maybe you can cover those issues encountered when doing this by hand in another post?
