How to find hidden files in webIDE of SAP Cloud Platform? - sap-cloud-platform

My sapUI5 project in SAP WebIDE can not run, and the error msg in console is :
The project is corrupted because its '.user.project.json' file has an invalid JSON format.Open the file and fix it.
But there is only project.json in my project. I tried to new a '.user.project.json' file, but the OK button turned disabled. I think this file is already existed in my project, but where to find it ?

In SAP WebIDE, that file is hidden by default. To see it, you have to press the "Show Hidden Files" button.

How to recover a .java class in an Eclipse project?

I opened the Eclipse as usual from an installer (I downloaded the complete jBPM engine and Eclipse is included with it). I open it from a command prompt. When I opened the Eclipse I found it is empty as it is installed recently. no projects or tabs or anything.
I reopened the project I am working on and found that the main file that containing the code is empty (it is one line with hidden words). I opened the project from its location on the hard disk and I found the file is also empty but I can see that there is something on it.
I tried to open the project on Netbeans but the problem is still exist. I tried to open the file from the local history but I found nothing in the history. Unfortunately I didn't take a backup from my last work. I don't know what to do right now, if you can help it will be appreciated. I attached here a picture for the eclipse with the empty file:
If the project is already deployed in some server then you can decompile them from deployed folder(i.e : webapps folder of Tomcat)

JavaScript content assist not working for JSP file in Eclipse Kepler

I am using Eclipse Kepler to develop App Engine application. The autocomplete feature is not working for JSP files and am not sure if I am missing any Property settings.
Would be glad if someone can let me know what needs to be done to enable auto-complete feature?
PS : FYI, I have the WTP tool already installed
You have to be working with a file in a JavaScript Source Folder. To do that, you can create a JavaScript project or enable an existing project from its Configure context menu (right-click->Configure->something JavaScript). Once that's done, if it wasn't opened automatically, bring up the project's JavaScript Include Path property page and create or mark an existing folder as a Source Folder. That should enable it for both JS files and web pages.
Have you tried closing the project and opening it again. That would clear the cache and get things running.
right click project > close project
right click closed project > open project

Why does eclipse break when the .project file is hidden?

Why does eclipse break with the error "Could not write file: M:\workspaces\eclipse\project.project. M:\workspaces\eclipse\project.project (Access is denied)" when the .project file is hidden (on the Windows file system)? Note: This happens w/ other files as well.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install the latest eclipse, I am using eclipse-jee-galileo-SR2-win32.zip. (Not sure if it happens in other versions)
2. Create a project.
3. Browse to the project in windows explorer, find the .project file.
4. Right click -> properties
5. Under Attributes check hidden.
6. In eclipse, open the .project file, make a change and try to save.
7. After you get the error, uncheck the hidden box and save again.
Network drive can sometimes have the issue of marking files with the hidden attribute (see this thread for instance)
As illustrated by this IBM technote, this issue might be related to Sun bug 6350200:
When opening a hidden file for write access the FileNotFoundException exception is thrown. If you remove the hidden attribute (via attrib) the exception is not thrown and application works correctly.
Resolution: fixed with JDK6_b3 (what JDK are you using to run your eclipse?), but might still have some problem the IBM technote reports as fully fixed only in JDK7! So right now, you have to remove the hidden attribute for Eclipse to be able to successfully opened it and write in it.

Application Deployment

I deployed an application using this method and it worked very good. However, there are 2 missing things that I been trying to find but can't:
1) How do I include resource files in the installation? I have a folder with files that have some user data, and those need to be there after the installation so the application can run, this is an oversimplified example I'm working on (I need to include NecessaryFile1.xml, NecessaryFile2.xml and NecessaryFile3.xml and the folder they're in):
alt text http://img193.imageshack.us/img193/7782/resources.png
2) How can I put the application in the start -> programs menu? It doesn't seem to do that either. It just puts it in the C:\Program Files\My Company Name\ApplicationName\ directory.
Thanks for any suggestion!
Go to your Setup project in Visual Studio. In the "File System" tab, locate "Application Folder". Right-click and then click Add | Folder. Name the new folder "Data". Right-click on the new "Data" folder and click Add File, then add the needed XML files. Repeat for as many different folders and/or files as required by your application.
When you compile and run your setup project, the "Data" folder and its contents will be deployed along with the application.
Click on each XML file in the Solution Explorer and then in the Properties window below (see your screenshot) you click and change "Build Action" to "Copy" and "Copy to Output Directory" to "Copy If Newer". That does the trick for me, at least with ClickOnce...

ColdFusion Builder throwing an error about my open project

I am trying to open Adobe ColdFusion Builder, and it is throwing the following error:
"open project has encountered a problem"
Problems occurred opening the selected resources.
The project description file (.project) for 'dev - work' is missing.
This file contains important information about the project.
The project will not function properly until this file is restored.
How do I solve this issue?
What about ovbious steps? It looks like you accidentally deleted the Eclipse project configuration file.
Check if ''.project'' file exists in project directory. If it is missing, re-creating the project and copying the source files from the old is the way to fix it.
Also you can try to create project with same name and copy the ''.project'' file to the old one. Bu you'll need to remove this invalid project first (without deleting the source files) and import it later, because Eclipse (FBuilder) wont allow you to have two projects with same name in workspace.
if you are using developing on windows 7 platform, go to you workspace folder(not where you project is located) right click go to restore select an earlier version. it worked for me
