IBM Watson - Conversation Response Condition - ibm-cloud

I'm pretty new to Watson Conversation and Watson in generel, and I've come across a situation that I would like to handle in the Watson Conversation app, but I can't figure out.
Basically I want to add an "advanced" condition to a response so it will be possible to do e.g.:
Condition: if #sys-number==Integer
Response: #sys-number is an integer.
Condition if #sys-number==Double
Response: #sys-number is a double.
Currently I'm stuck, since I can get the #sys-number class by doing #sys-number.numeric_value.class, which evaluates to e.g. "class java.lang.Integer", but I cannot do the comparison in the condition field.
I've tried to do several different things, where the most obvious would be
if (#sys-number instanceof java.lang.Integer)
I know that this can be handled on the application side, but would like a solution Conversation side, if possible.

By essence the '#sys-number' entity is a string, because it belongs to the user's input.
So if you want to test wether the user's input recognized #sys-number entity can be converted onto integer or a float you must try :
IF #sys-number AND input.text.find('\d+')
IF #sys-number AND input.text.find('\d+[,\.]\d+')
If and only if none of the condition is triggered, the #sys-number comes from Alphabetic input

Use a regular expressions for example the following will look for an integer.
/^[0-9]*$/

Google action builder/Google assitant How to use proper noun as type

i would like to have a type that represent proper nom, such as family name for exemple but i can't find anything on this.
My goal is to send a info to an other personne using google assistant and my backend.
For exemple the user can say "Send this info to john smith" the info is stored in my backend so i have no problem finding and i got the id of the personne who is talking to the google assistant so this is no problem either.
The problem is how can i get john smith as a parameter that i send to my webhook? So my backend can verify the user list in my database and send the info if the user existe. I tried to use Type but a family doesn't match any pattern because it's can be anything...
If anyone know how to use google action builder with proper noun i would be grateful to know how i can manage to do it.
You have generally two options.
Free form text approach
First you can create a "Free form text" type which can catch pretty much anything being said.
Then a custom intent can be trained with a few examples to pull out the correct proper noun (or anything else). Your webhook will be able to match at that point.
Type Overrides approach
Alternatively, you can create a new type that starts with a preset of sample names that you use in your custom intent. Then, when the action starts, you can get the user's personal contact list in the webhook and set session type overrides.
Here's an example of the code I got from a music player action:

Depending on your system architecture, one of these may make more sense than the other. The first is better at capturing everything, but may require more post-processing on your webhook. The latter is better at precision, but may mean names may not match if they don't match entirely.

Dialogflow CX: Is it possible to verify the value of an intent param in the condition section of the page?

I would like to use Conditions to dispatch the conversation through different Routes depending on the intent entity that appeared in the last user's message:
But it only enables me to use the condition $intent.params.entityX != null; when I try to extract the exact value of that entity like: $intent.params.entityX = "some_value" it does not match. I have also try $intent.params.entityX.original and $intent.params.entityX.resolved. It seems that the intent param values can apparently only be read in the Route response.
If what you're looking for is to evaluate a parameter that may have been filled through entity detection, you may wanna check in session rather than the intent:
$session.params.entityX

How to give personalised greeting in Watson Conversation?

While Defining the Dialog in the Watson Conversation I'm not able to greet user with his/her name or I'm not able to detect contact number sent by the user and rephrase it to the user. Is it possible to do it in the Watson Conversation Api or not.
Although Mitch's response is correct, here is an example of doing a personalised response.
1. Set your conversation_start node text to "Hello <? context.username ?>".
2. In your code you would do something like this (Python).

One thing to be aware is that, the context object is used to maintain the state of the conversation. So if you plan to use just REST API's then you need to merge your context variables into the preceding context object before sending it. You do only need to do this at points where you do know the conversation needs that context.
Do you already have access to this information? You can send these values through as context, and refer to them using $context_variable
The same goes for collecting information from a user. You can capture things using regular expressions via your application, or using some Spring Expressions, you can see the text.matches here:

You would store this as context, and then refer to it using $context_variable again.
Information like names and phone numbers is quite open ended, so can be difficult to capture without using an open entity extraction engine, which we are researching best ways to incorporate this.
To get the user's input, use:

Why does one HTTP GET request retrieve the required data and another retrieve []

I'm currently working on ng-admin.
I'm having a problem retrieving user data from my REST API (connected to a MongoDB) and displaying it.
I have identified the problem as the following:
When I enter http://localhost:3000/users into my browser, I get a list of all users in my database.
When I enter http://localhost:3000/users?_page=1&_perPage=30&_sortDir=DESC&_sortField=id,
I get [] as a result.
I am quite new to this, I used both my browser and the POSTMAN Chrome extension to test this and get the same result.
http://localhost:3000/users_end=30&_order=DESC&_sort=id&_start=0
This (/users_end) is a different request than /users.
It should be:
http://localhost:3000/users?end=30&_order=DESC&_sort=id&_start=0
Or, by looking at the other parameters:
http://localhost:3000/users?_end=30&_order=DESC&_sort=id&_start=0
with end or _end being the first parameter (mark the ?).
Update (it is ? and before the _, I have edited.):
If adding parameters to the request returns an empty list, try adding only one at a time to narrow down the problem (there's probably an error in the usage of those parameters - are you sure you need those underscores?).
Your REST API must have a way to handle pagination, sorting, and filtering. But ng-admin cannot determine exactly how, because REST is a style and not a standard. So ng-admin makes assumptions about how your API does that by default, that's why it adds these _end and _sort query parameters.

How to retrieve graph impressions with string action types

I am sending a request for graph insights with the action type breakdown like this one given in an example on Facebook page : https://graph.facebook.com/XXXXXXXX/app_insights/story_publishes?since=1418112000&until=1426748400&summary=true&breakdowns[0]=client&breakdowns[1]=action_type&breakdowns[2]=auth_state&date_format=U
The result is however difficult to read because the type of action is represented by a numeric value (uuid) like this: "action_type"=>"465905580137487", so I dont know what it relates to- checkin, share or photo upload. Also for different apps those uuids are also different. Does anyone know what call I need to make to get the action type names as strings? Thanks for help
