Can't find marketplace client for Eclipse oxygen version milestone 6 - eclipse

I'm unable to find the Eclipse Marketplace in the Help Menu for Eclipse Oxygen version milestone 6. I've seen it last in Mars version in my old system. As I moved to a new system I installed a new version of eclipse which is Oxygen version. But this version doesn't seem to have marketplace client installed with it. How can I find it or install the plugin from external sources?

This is the problem with latest eclipse to prevent bloating. So go to Eclipse-> Help--> Install New software and --> type Oxygen in the "Work with" space (or copy paste this "Oxygen - http://download.eclipse.org/releases/oxygen".)
Now search "Market place client" in the second search box .
You will get as below: General purpose tools-->Market place client. Check that box and you are good to go.

Unable to download Spring Tool Suite(STS) in eclipse mars.2

I am trying to install the Spring Tool Suite(STS) in my eclipse mars.2 via eclipse market place (eclipse->Help[tab]->Eclipse market place). When I search for STS in the search bar 0 result is returning.
Can anyone help me why this is happening?
enter image description here
You can get the latest version of STS3 that was compatible with Eclipse Mars (4.5) from here:
http://download.springsource.com/release/TOOLS/update/e4.5
(please note, this is an p2 repository URL, which is meant to be used in the Eclipse "Install New Software" dialog, there is no index page being served under this URL that can be accessed by a browser).

My eclipse plugin is showing on eclipse marketplace web site, but not in eclipse marketplace client

I uploaded a plugin I developped to eclipse marketplace platform, following the steps described at https://marketplace.eclipse.org/quickstart.
Now I can find my plugin on their web site (https://marketplace.eclipse.org), and I can install it from there (by dragging and dropping the install button).
The problem is I can't find it using eclipse marketplace client (the one inside eclipse, that opens using Help / Eclipse Marketplace...).
What could be wrong...? Maybe the development stage (now beta) ? Maybe eclipse compatible versions have to be specified ? (I said luna but maybe there is a format or something)
I have not put links to my plugin because I wasn't sure about SO policy. I can put them / send them by mail if it can be helpful.
Thanks in advance !
Well it works now !
I changed several things so I'm not sure which one was the good one :
- Changed development stage from "alpha" to "beta"
- Added a version for the plugin ("1.1.0", this is just a text field)
- Added a version for eclipse ("Luna", this is just a text field)
I think the missing information was the Eclipse version. Without that, the Marketplace Client in your Eclipse install doesn't know if the connector is compatible with that version of Eclipse.
For example, the JBoss Tools and Red Hat Developer Studio marketplace connectors have several different versions of tooling in it, each targeting a different version of Eclipse.
4.5 / 11 -> Eclipse Oxygen (4.7)
4.4 / 10 -> Eclipse Neon (4.6)
4.3 / 9 -> Eclipse Mars (4.4)
4.2 / 8 -> Eclipse Luna (4.3)
So, depending on the version of Eclipse you're using, you'll get a different version of tooling from the connector, as it links to a different update site for each version.

Proper way to install SVNKit 1.7.x in Eclipse?

Folks,
I am a bit confused on how to get SVNKit 1.7 Beta 3 to work under Eclipse Indigo.
Using the Eclipse update site mentioned at http://svnkit.com/download.php, I installed new software from http://eclipse.svnkit.com/1.7.x. I selected both the items on the list, the core SVNKit Library and optional JNA Library.
The installation seems to have succeeded. When I look at the list of installed software, I see SVN Library 1.70 Beta 3 in the list.
However, Eclipse still does not recognized that my projects are source controlled.
When I go to Preferences, all I see is SVNKit 1.3.6-v1. I do not see SVNKit 1.7.
Is there some other step that I am missing? How do I get Subversive to recognized my Subversion 1.7 based projects?
Thank you in advance for your help.
Regards,Peter
To install SVNKit as an Eclipse plugin or to make sure that you have the latest version installed, use http://eclipse.svnkit.com/1.7.x/ as an update site location in Eclipse Update Manager.
List item In Eclipse menu select Help->Software Updates
List item Then choose 'Available Software' tab
List item Click 'Add Site...' button
List item Type http://eclipse.svnkit.com/1.7.x/ in the 'Location' field and press 'OK'.
List item Check the new site (it should appear in the list of update sites) and follow further steps as prompted by Eclipse.
Use http://eclipse.svnkit.com/1.3.x/ as an update site location to get older version of SVNKit (1.3.8).
In order to install SVNKit 1.7.x for Subversive I've opened Eclipse > Help > Install new software and used the link from http://www.polarion.com/products/svn/subversive/download.php page:
http://community.polarion.com/projects/subversive/download/eclipse/3.0/kepler-site/ – [required] Subversive SVN Connectors
After that new connector appeared under Eclipse Preferences.
Just for the records, as of March 2013, Subversive does seem to work with SVNKit 1.7.
I installed both (SVNKit 1.7.8 and then Subversive Service Release 1.0.1) on Eclipse Indigo and haven't run into any problems so far.
If you want to give it a try, just make sure to uninstall the previous version first, as the Subversive latest releases page points out:
Subversive 0.7 to 1.0 Upgrade Notes
If need to update Subversive from 0.7.x to the 1.0.0 version,
uninstall the previously installed Subversive 0.7.x plug-in version
first. Otherwise during the installation process you'll be blocked by
the old connectors version that is incompatible with the 1.0.0 release
and couldn't be installed simultaneously with the main plug-in due to
the installation UI restrictions.
Regards
Yes, it works with Subclipse, but not Subversive.

How do I install Eclipse Marketplace in Eclipse Classic?

I'm running Eclipse 3.6.1 Classic, which does not come with the Eclipse Marketplace plugin by default. I've looked around the Eclipse website, but I don't see an available plugin for installing Eclipse Marketplace. Am I just not seeing it?
Help → Install new Software → Switch to the Kepler Repository → General Purpose Tools → Marketplace Client
If you use Eclipse Luna SR 1, the released Marketplace contains a bug; you have to install it from the Marketplace update site. This is fixed again in Luna SR 2.
Marketplace update site:
Luna - http://download.eclipse.org/mpc/luna
Helios - http://download.eclipse.org/releases/helios
Juno - http://download.eclipse.org/releases/juno
Mars - http://download.eclipse.org/releases/mars
The steps below are for Eclipse Indigo Classic Version.
Help->Install New Software...
Point to Eclipse Indigo Site, If not available add the site
"Indigo - http://download.eclipse.org/releases/indigo"
Work with the above site
Look at "General Purpose Tools"->Marketplace Client
After installing, restart Eclipse and you can find Marketplace in "Help->Eclipse Marketplace..."
Help->Install New Software...
Point to Eclipse Juno Site, If not available add the site "Juno - http://download.eclipse.org/releases/juno"
Select and expand general purpose tools
Select and install Marketplace client
With Eclipse 3.7 Indigo, I found the link at http://www.eclipse.org/mpc/
which told me the download location and plugin was
http://download.eclipse.org/mpc/indigo/
Which made the "Eclipse Marketplace Client" available in my Software updates after I added that address as a repository. Didn't seem to be in the core list on a fresh install.
help=>install new software=>workwith choice
Juno - http://download.eclipse.org/releases/juno
and search in the below "type filter text"
--------------market
you will see this plugs
Marketplace Client
This is how i managed to install the thing in my indigo
Help->Install New Software
add this 'http://download.eclipse.org/mpc/indigo/" to the work with field
Press enter key
choose the marketplace.
follow the steps
The easy way to do it
Help-->
Install New Software
In the box type in
http://download.eclipse.org/mpc/juno
General Purpose Tools--> Select Eclipse Marketplace checkbox and Finish.
Along with these steps I tried To install the whole bunch of software, but it gives an error later. So please make sure you select only one or two at a time.
first Help then Install new Software then Switch to the Kepler Repository then General Purpose Tools finally Marketplace Client
Go to Help=>install new software=>workwith choice kEPLER and
search in the below "type filter text" --------------market,
Select and expand general purpose tools and find MPC Marketplace Client
Restart After installed..

Eclipse Java EE plugin

I want an Eclipse Java EE plugin which I can install directly from Eclipse.
I searched about it on Google and found some ones but couldn't figure out how to download them directly from Eclipse.
One plugin I found was WTP but couldn't find the location of the WTP repository that I can enter in the Eclipse's Software Update tool.
I am using Eclipse 3.4.2 (Ganymede)
I warmly suggest to install Eclipse IDE for Java EE developers which already includes the Web Tools Platform (WTP) and much more (see this page for a full comparison).
As an alternative, you can download a zip of the Web Tools from here or install it via Update Manager using this URL:
http://download.eclipse.org/webtools/updates/
If you have Eclipse Galileo you should go to Help > Install New Software. Then the list of available sites to install updates will appear. You should add the WTP plug-in to this list, for example.
To do this, click on Add and enter the name and location (you can get this from the WTP site). Then, select this plug-in and click on Finish. That's it and it's valid to all plug-ins.
when you are searching do a comprehensive search http:// in eclipse
Google search the repository containing Java EE WTP
Install the new software in your IDE, restart your IDE, right click under the project explorer view, select new, the option for creating a dynamic web project should now be available. I did it using the luna version of eclipse which dose not have the default and now have the option.
Use
