Application keep crashing when deploying to Bluemix - ibm-cloud

We are trying to deploy application to Bluemix using the CF command cf push -f manifest.yml and below is the attached yml file

This usually indicates that your server isn't listening on the right port.
I recommend deploying the Liberty Buildpack here and subsequently downloading the source code. This should give you a working Liberty app with the correct manifest to push code to Bluemix.

You list the path to the target artifact as a zip file and the build pack probably does not recognize that artifact type. Try changing it to an executable jar or a war or ear file.

Not able to post MQ message from Websphere Application Server image using docker image

I have an legacy application that uses websphere application server 9.0.0 , I want to containerize it using docker, but I am putting the message on MQ , it is giving me below error:
Unwrapping Non-DiagnosticException:
Exception Type : com.ibm.msg.client.jms.DetailedJMSException
Exception Message: JMSWMQ0018: Failed to connect to queue manager 'MQGWD2' with connection mode 'Client' and host name 'mqgwd2.sdde.deere.com(2171)'.

My docker-compose.yml looks like:
version: "3.9"
services:
consolidated:
build: .
ports:
- "9043:9043"
- "9443:9443"
- "9083:9083"
To run this application without container, I didn't install any MQ separately, I am just using the one the is there already in websphere server, the same doesn't work with the containerized image. I have compared all the connection factories through admin console and they are looking ok. The same configuration works on non-containerized version of this application

Service Fabric local machine deployment fails with unclear error

When trying to debug Service Fabric locally it fails during deployment:
1>------ Build started: Project: Project.TestServer.Contracts, Configuration: Debug Any CPU ------

========== Build: 3 succeeded, 0 failed, 0 up-to-date, 0 skipped ==========
========== Deploy: 0 succeeded, 1 failed, 0 skipped ==========
What this line could mean?
C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Crypto\Keys\33c99d3358d005d142e356b6d*******_8f15e82c-1deb-4d62-b94a-196c3a******
I had this same issue for the past day or so, and I was able to resolve the issue by searching my OS(C://) drive for the first part of the key name {first part}_{the rest}.
I found a copy/original key in "C:\Users\youruser\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Crypto\Keys" and copied it over to "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Crypto\Keys".
After doing this the app was able to run and deploy again on my local machine.
This solution by ravipal worked for me:
The issue is that the ASP.NET development certificate being imported to Local Computer was incomplete. We are working on addressing this issue in the VS Tooling. Meanwhile, please use the following workaround which is needed only once per machine.
Export the asp net development certificate
dotnet dev-certs https -ep "%TEMP%\aspcert.pfx" -p <password> (choose any password)
Launch local machine certificate manager
Import the certificate that was exported in step1 (%TEMP%\aspcert.pfx) to both 'Personal' and 'Trusted Root Certification Authorities' of Local Computer. Please use all the default options while importing the certificate.
Now the deployment of the SF application will work.

Application is active in server but page is not loading, shows err - Access denied

I was preparing production environment to deploy my ADF web application developed in jdeveloper 12.2.1. Installed and configured weblogic 12.2.1.1.0(latest version) and database( Oracle DB 11g) in different servers. I tired to deploy a simple demo application which worked smoothly. But when i tired to deploy my application with MDS enabled which also having login credentials it's not get loading. Application and servers(3 managed servers added in a cluster) are active and its health is fine.
While I checked the log i can found the error message as below:
weblogic.kernel.Default (self-tuning)'> <OracleSystemUser> <BEA1-00A6CDC0DF4E2399D225> <c21c09b7-a391-47ae-b2eb-0d8dc5bec343-00000d61> <1477317511991> <[severity-value: 64] [rid: 0] [partition-id: 0] [partition-name: DOMAIN] > <BEA-010227> <EJB exception occurred during invocation from home or business: oracle.wsm.policymanager.bean.ejb.impl.UsageTracker_oi3aq7_Intf generated exception
: java.lang.SecurityException: WSM-02084 : Access denied. Permission "oracle.wsm.security.PolicyManagerPermission" is required to access the wsm policy manager "UsageTracker" method "recordUsage".>
I am stuck with this issues. Tried by starting and stopping servers and deploy and undeploy application many times.
Any help would be appreciable.
Thanks in advance.
You may want to check the suggestions on "SOA Suite 12.2.1 - OWSM WSM-02084 issue" from Michel Schildmeijer.
He suggests editing the policy.Accessor and adding oracle.wsm.security.PolicyManagerPermission for resource UsageTracker#recordUsage to the wsm-pm Application Stripe via "Fusion Middleware Control" under WebLogic Domain > Security > Application Policies.

Error reading manifest file in bluemix deploy

I'm having a hard time to deploy this standard ecommerce project on Bluemix:
https://github.com/zallaricardo/ecommerce-devops
I've chosen to do it with git repository and automatic deploy through the Bluemix pipeline service. After successfully building and fixing a lot of misconfigurations, the root challenge seems to be write a correct version of the manifest.yml file for the project.
Without the manifest.yml file, the log shows the following error:
Downloading artifacts...DOWNLOAD SUCCESSFUL

TIP: Buildpacks are detected when the "cf push" is executed from within the directory that contains the app source code.
Use 'cf buildpacks' to see a list of supported buildpacks.
Use 'cf logs loja-virtual-devops --recent' for more in depth log information.
And with the version of manifest which I believe * - I'm new on this manifests stuff* - to be ok and sufficient, the log shows:
Downloading artifacts...DOWNLOAD SUCCESSFUL
Target: https://api.ng.bluemix.net

Error reading manifest file:

The manifest.yml file is currently written as follows:
---
- name: loja-virtual-devops
memory: 512M
buildpack: https://github.com/cloudfoundry/java-buildpack
domain: mybluemix.net
I'll sincerely appreciate any hint about how to fix the manifest for this application or another way to successfully deploy the project through Bluemix.
Try including the applications heading in your manifest.yml file.
example:
applications:
- name: appname
host: app_hostname
buildpack: java_buildpack
instances: 2

ATG Commerce v11 CRS install Error:

I have installed Oracle ATG v11 with the commerce reference store, when I startup the production server and go to the url domain/crs/storeus I see the blank white page, and have the following error in the console:

I am assuming this error is related to endeca? I have downloaded CAS, Tools And Frameworks with experience manager and MDX, and Platform Services. Do I need to start these or have I missed a part of the endeca install?
The value of the configurationPath attribute in the DefaultFileStoreFactory.properties located at \localconfig\atg\endeca\assembler\cartridge\manager may be incorrect.
In OOTB CRS, we normally provide the following value for configurationPath attribute :
/ToolsAndFrameworks/11.1.0/server/workspace/state/repository/CRS
Could you please verify the .zip is present at path provided in DefaultFileStoreFactory.properties.
Just check if you are able to connect the below url:
host:15000/admin?op=stats
If you are able to connect this URL, then MDEX is running. Also, you can login to the experience manager and check if the dgraphs and dgidx are running.
If you are not able to connect then check all the services are(tools and http) running and accessible. You can check the endeca logs to debug further.
Your DGraph is not (yet) started.
(Hit this URL in your browser and verify: http://localhost:15000/graph?node=0&profiles=sitegroup.siteGroupUS|NoPriceRange|site.storeSiteUS&offset=0&nbins=0&irversion=640&format=xml)
Possible reasons are:
You did not run baseline update from ATG (from
ProductCatalogSimpleIndexingAdmin dyn/admin component).
You did not run promote content (from your Endeca App's control folder).
Your Services are not working properly (or not started at all). Check that Platform Services and Tools And Frameworks are started.
The solution is to properly define the value for the property configurationPath=E:/Endeca/Apps/CRS/data/workbench/application_export_archive/CRS in "DefaultFileStoreFactory.properties"
If you are using the OS as Windows then define this path as Unix style as shown above.
