How to drag / re-center the displayed Tableau worksheet? - tableau-api

Suppose I wish to focus on the state of Colorado in the following chloropeth map:
The typical mechanism is to use the operating-system dependent means of dragging the picture. I am on OS/X so that involves using two fingers to drag the image to the desired new centering location.
However the actual result of that operation is a bounding box is displayed on the image (I can not get a screenshot of it since it disappears)
So then .. how to drag /re-center the Tableau display?

Click onto the small 'play' arrow button on the chart menu in the top left hand corner. A sub menu will pop up where you can select the scroll method you'd like - click and drag is one of these. You can also disable this through the chart options (the small drop down menu on the top right hand corner of the chart).

Unable to target button that has no control with pywinauto

I have a problem trying to click a button (which is not actually a button control) in a ClickOnce application I'm automating. It's located in "ViewManager1 pane" according to Inspect.exe, but there are no children of this pane and no controls. Looks like this:
The only thing I've been able to come up with is using the pywinauto.mouse.click function with coords. However, I don't always know the size of the window. I can maximize the window and click it, but I would like to be able to find the coords regardless of the window size. The problem is the button I want (Active Directory) may be left of center or right of center depending on the window's size.
More acceptable would be to resize the window (instead of maximize) and then click the coords, but I can't figure out how to resize it. The window's actions from Inspect.exe are as follows:
Window.SetVisualState only allows Minimize, Maximize, or Normal. I thought about calling .rectangle.mid_point() to get the center coords of the pane, but I don't know how to find the button from there since it moves based on window's size.
Is there any way that I can find the coords of the Active Directory button, or alternatively resize the window?

Flutter nested menu flying left and right

How to implement the flying left or right animation for nested menu in flutter? I have a bottom sheet like the below one. I want the bottom sheet content (not the bottom sheet itself) to flying left, and new content will fly in from the right side when clicking the item "select your address type". This is common behaviour in web for nested menu.
I found a working solution by using stack and AnimatedPositioned. The tricky part is to calculate all nested menu's left position(you may use the right position as well). It's similar to how a image carousel works.

Button with lost focus using PerspectiveTrasnform

Well, I make a Pane based on an example of JavaFX samples (Display Shelf), I put Panes with Labels, Buttons, ComboBox, TableView where's the ImageView. It is working, when I click on Pane, it does the animation correctly, but the buttons that I put in vertical on Right of Pane, receive the focus out of where they are. When I move the mouse button, nothing happens, but if I move the mouse to down of it, I can click in the button that so reveice the focus. The local where I have to move the mouse to button to receive the focus is increasingly far (down) if the button is below the other.
I'm using the Perspective Transform of JavaEX and all is in JavaFX Samples, just changed some params of size (width and height). This effect may be interfering in focus? Or can be another problem? If anyone already had this problem please help me. Thanks.

GWT - Move panel to new browser tab/window

I'm working on a GWT application that has the following layout:
- on top there's Menu Bar
- below that screen is separated into two panel by Split Layout Panel
When user clicks on a label in Menu Bar relevant information is show below in the left part of the screen. Then user clicks on an action item on that left part of the screen, and relevant information on that action item is displayed on the right part of the screen.
Clicking on an action item on the right part of the screen may also change relevant information on left part of the screen.
I want to extend on this by giving a possibility to drag/drop the panel on the right part of the screen to another browser tab/window. After that the right and left part of the screen should remain connected as if they are in the same browser tab/window.
Also, that new tab/window should only display that right panel, while Menu Bar and left panel, along with Split Layout Panel should not be present (this is less important but it would be great if it can be done).
Another important thing is that current visual representation of application is not changed but only extended with this functionality.
Is that something that can be done and if it is how to do it?
Thank you for your help.
I think you would have to use "HTML5" native drag and drop to drag between browser instances, so that would limit browser support. Both tabs would already have to have your code loaded into them so they could respond to these events.
If you have a server back end (not just static HTML/JS) then you could communicate via the server. Otherwise maybe "HTML5" client side storage to store blobs of data describing the panel contents. Probably easier re-render in the new browser/tab.

How in Interface Builder can you select a rectangular group of items when they're on top of a background item?

I've had this problem several times now, and never found a satisfactory solution: If I want to move a group of items with a view all together in Interface Builder, and these items are all on top of a larger background item, I can't put a selection rectangle around the items in the view because any click and drag in the view initiates a move of the background item. In other words, every pixel in the area I'm interested in (and nearby) has a "hand" mouse pointer, no "arrow" pointer is available so I can't drag out a rectangle selection box.
cmd-clicking individual items to build up the group only works when they are separate, and only when there are a few of them. Sometimes I want to select a "pile" of items all on top of each other.
Is there some way to "select for moving" by clicking in the .xib item list? Double clicking a single item selects it for moving in the view, but I have't found a way to add to the "select for moving" selection this way.
So far the best way I've found is temporarily moving the background out of the way and then putting it back but this is unsatisfactory, and wouldn't work with a more complex background arrangement.
How have others done this?
I know what you mean, and I have found a slightly better solution: go to the list view and...
drag either the background view or your custom view up to the root hierarchy level (adjacent to File's Owner)
double click on your custom view and edit away using drag-box-selection
when finished, drag the view back into its original hierarchy position
The key here is that the GUI editor only edits one root object at a time, so moving the background vs. 'foreground' views into separate root objects allows you to edit them separately. Woo!
This is my solution to this problem: Select the background images/object that you don't want to move and set its width to 1 and then, after a comfortable layout editing, restore its original width. This works for me.
Use the left hand side list view and multi-select a range by clicking on the first item in the range then shift-click on the last item. Use ctrl-click to unselect some items if necessary. As items are selected they will also show as being selected in the interface view on the right.
Once have set up all the selected items, cmd-click on the selected items in the right hand side interface view and drag.
In the list of objects, cmd+click each one you want to select them all. In the interface hold command and click and drag the stack of items. Drag them to where you want them and release cmd. If you don't release the button they will rubber band back to their original position.
