I am using API Connect on Bluemix and created a few different developer portals. After using the Trial version I want to upgrade, so I deleted my old APIC instance and provisioned a new one...but I still see my old portals. How do I delete those?
Figured it out - the portal should automatically be removed by the APIM appliance when the service is removed. You can tell if the portal site has been removed or not by visiting the URL and seeing if it shows up! Apparently if there is some error or glitch and the portal site is NOT removed, then it will be cleaned up later by an automated dormancy checker.

I recently deleted my Google Cloud project then I restored it,
now after restoration, I can't delete or enable any of my old service accounts, though I can create new ones only also I can edit these new ones, don't know why but how can I overcome this.
my main issue is with the "projectname#appspot.gserviceaccount.com" service account, I can't enable it.
what happened is that today and by itself, I found that everything is back to normal by itself, perhaps it took about 1 day since restoration.
I have a GCP project. Then I gave permission to a user A with email A#email. They connected it to Firebase and developed a project there with hosting enabled and verified. Then another user B came and I switched the ownership of the project to them and removed A from this. After ownership change, the hosting verification was re-triggered (as expected). However, since 1 week it only shows
I tried searching for other people who had such an issue and nothing came about. I even wrote a bug report but for more than a week nobody has reached out to me and I am worried because the grace period is 1 month and I my project could go down. Have you heard of similar problems?
Edit from comment:
I can confirm that the error comes in Chrome and incognito (version: 80.0.3987.163 (Official Build) (32-bit)) and in Firefox and incognito (version: 72.0.2 (64-bit)). Opening the console gives error 503 for URLs https://clients6.google.com/siteVerification/v1/webResource?verificationMethod=DNS_TXT&alt=json&key= and https://clients6.google.com/siteVerification/v1/token.
The issue was due to my company's license agreement with Google and the way Firebase Hosting is made. More details below.
Strangely enough, using GCP and Firebase require a GCP license. With this license you can do everything from adding/changing/modifing collections/projects. However, the functionality to 'Verify' your hosting site goes through the Google Console which is not included in the license.
Encountered this same thing. The problem turned out that I was using a Google Workspace account that did not have "Google Search Console" enabled for the domain I was logged in on.
To remedy, I had to login to my Workspace Admin, and go turn it on as shown below.
I upgraded my app service to Standard a few days ago. However, when I go to the backup configuration page, it never finishes loading. I just get the dots across the top of the screen forever.
According to your description, I have checked this issue. Per my test, I found I could not configure my backups for my mobile app on Azure Portal as follows:
While for web app, I could configure the backups via Azure Portal as follows:
Then I Use REST to back up and restore App Service apps and Use PowerShell to back up and restore App Service apps to check this issue. After configure the backup for my mobile app, I could see the Configure button on Azure Portal, but when I try to change the backup configuration, I encountered the same issue as you mentioned.
Per my understanding, you could leverage the powershell command Edit-AzureRmWebAppBackupConfiguration for a simple way to edit your Backup Configuration, you could refer to here for more details.
Getting the below error while creating app on Bluemix dashboard, irrespective of using unique App names

I have been able to create a mobile application without any problems. This issue was most likely due a temporary outage.
If you experience this again, be sure check the Bluemix status page for any known issues and/or try again in a few minutes.
I have recently migrated my .NET backend Mobile service to App Service, then I tried to publish the updated Service Project to the App Service but it is failing and getting an error saying
Severity Code Description Project File Line Suppression State
Error Web deployment task failed. (Connected to the remote computer ("******.publish.azurewebsites.windows.net") using the Web Management Service, but could not authorize. Make sure that you are using the correct user name and password, that the site you are connecting to exists, and that the credentials represent a user who has permissions to access the site. I have downloaded the Publish Profile from the portal Mobile app command Get Publish Profile option.
Then I imported it to my service project under publish wizard using Import option, I got two profiles one is FTP another one is Web Deploy I tried both option but no luck.
According to the error message it is saying UNAUTHORIZED so, where can I get/see the user name and password of my Mobile App in Azure Portal?
Thanks,
Narendra Macha.
This is a known issue for which a fix is in progress. You can workaround this by adjusting the publish settings to use the scm endpoint for your site, as captured here.
