ionic installation and build difficulties - ionic-framework

Creating a new ionic project and doing an android build downloads innumerable packages; if anything goes wrong in this process, many things can get corrupted. I am now on my fourth re-install of Windows, for example.
Is there a way of downloading everything required for an ionic install and android build first so that I have all the downloads safely in place before I start on installation? This would also give the benefit of being able to create a number of projects without having to download everything again.

What I do now make copies of folders and base new projects on folders that are correctly downloaded and functional. Even a simple ionic project downloads and creates a folder of approx 200 MB. I find that this process can often go wrong.
On a good day, I can run
ionic start <projectName> blank
and answer YES to the question "Would you like to integrate with Cordova"
This then generates a folder of about 200 MB. If I am unlucky something goes wrong and this fails.
I check that the folder is correct by running
ionic serve
and verifying that the browser shows a basic page.
I then run
ionic cordova build android --debug
This increases the folder size to around 270 MB. Finally, I confirm that I can FTP the *.apk file to a website and install it to an android device.
I then make a copy of this folder and use that copy as a basis for all new projects. I never run "ionic start" again.
I have never had problems with the installation of other development environments, so this seems very unusual. I can only assume that the complexity of the installation can lead to faults. Achieving one correct download and then copying that is how I handle these problems. The best time for me in Scotland is to do installations in the middle of the USA night.

When you start a finished project downloaded from the internet Running Gradle task 'assembleDebug'

When creating a new app in Android Studio, everything starts normally. But if you download an example of some kind, then the application does not start and shows an infinite download, how to fix it? That is, I downloaded a ready-made project, try to run it, and show me the Running Gradle task assembleDebug and nothing else happens. But if I create a new project myself, it starts. Could it be because I didn't install Dart and Flutter separately? and I installed them through Android Studio and use them
this is a ready-made project that I downloaded from the internet and it does not start. It doesn't show any errors.
Dart comes with Flutter. So, you don't need to install them both separately.
Since there is no error, it means that it is just slow. What happens is that the first build requires a lot of files. Some of the packages need to be downloaded and certain files needed to be built. So, it will take time. The speed may also be affected by the internet speeds.
In your case, when you're creating a new project. It is a basic project. So, very few files. So, it gets done quicker.

Upgrade Flutter debug build on device (using VSCode)

I have an app that is just for personal use. I can run it from VSCode directly (just run & debug). It saves its data onto its assigned "disk space" on the device. However, when I close the app and restart it (no longer connected to my dev PC), it starts up an old version of the app - obviously the one I last really installed on the device.
The only way I know to have the latest version on the device would be to deinstall it, then install it via devPC. Unfortunately, this deletes the local files of the app.
Is there a way to upgrade the installed version directly from the dev PC? I think it is possible to manually install the newest apk after I built it, but is there a way as easy as "run & debug", with the only difference that the latest version of the app starts when I restart the app?
There are no option to upgrade the app locally from PC. Every time you connect the phone and press Run & Debug, it will rebuild the app again.
In order to persist your data through different app versions, you should consider integrating some simple backend structure to your app.
You can think of creating a database which will provide you data every time you open the app. One easy option you can try is to integrate the Cloud Firestore in your app. You can follow this tutorial here to understand the implementation and feel free to ask if you need any further support.

Unable to install any Unity version from Unity Hub

I'm looking into learning to use Unity, so I've downloaded the Unity Hub as it seems to be the way Unity is forcing us to download their versions from now on. The problem with this is that, every time I try to download any version of Unity through the Hub, I get a message once the download bar has completed along the lines of:
"Incomplete or corrupt download".
I've tried downloading plenty of different official versions, with various plugins, even without any add ons to start with, but I always get the same message.
I contacted Unity support, but they're insisting that it's my internet connection and I should download versions from the archives. Surely this can't be the case, as I can download everything else without any issues.
Has anyone else come across this issue and are there any solutions out there?
What I do :
1) First of all ignored Unity Hub and install Unity manually
Download Link: https://unity3d.com/get-unity/download/archive
2) Download "Unity Editor 64 bit" or "Torrent download(Win+Mac)"
3) I download second one which also have other support file like Android, iOS, AppleTV etc.
4) Now Install "UnitySetup64.exe" application and other support files as your need and enjoy your project.

Do you have enough disk space to download the version? They can get big, if you install various modules with it.
While installing a new module it mentions the required disk space at the top.

Blackberry Webworks project not deploying to the blackberry simulator

I am working on a project that compiles just fine without any errors in the console or error log. All of the .cod files are signed in the process of building and all are marked as successfully signed. After the project build succeeds the blackberry simulator loads up as it should. However the project is not actually loaded into the simulator and placed in the downloads.
If I have the simulator open when the build succeeds, the simulator will display the loading circle icon in the middle of the screen but never perform any actions. I have tried cleaning the simulator and restarting my machine
I am using eclipse and working with phonegap and jquery mobile for this project. I have tried the simulator on the Torch 9800 and the Bold 9700. I would assume run time errors would show somewhere in the console but yet nothing new is showing up there or in the command prompt screen.
Any ideas as to what is going wrong?
Thanks!
EDIT
After looking into the build folder inside of the solution, the zipped folder is there however there is no StandardInstall or OTAInstall folder. The standard install folder would normally contain the .alx .cod .cls and .cso files for the project. I am assuming those are important and not sure why they are missing??

OTA midlet issue

After installing my midlet to a phone over the air, I'm getting a blank page from browser which need to be closed manually.
Any idea how to prevent it?
I read that JAD files are no longer required, as the all info located in JAR. I tried to use the JAR files instead of JAD's, but with them the browser first downloads and only then offers to install the middlet. With JAD it offers to install first, which IMHO more user friendly. Is this the expected behavior, or it can be improved and remove the need in JAD's?
I'm using Eclipse MJT (Previously called EclipseME).
A JAD file makes it easier to sign and deploy your application.
I would definitely not expect all phones to be able to install an applicaiton from the JAR alone.
Without more information, I can see 2 reasons why a blank web browser page would be left on the screen after a jad install:
bug in handset firmware. Not only can the phone not download the jar without launching a full web browser but it also forgets to close the browser window. It happens.
your application asks the phone to notify a remote computer after installation. There is a standard application property for this in the MIDP specifications. it could be in the jad or in the manifest.
