We're using facebook graph api webhooks right now to get notified about someone commenting something on our page.
Right now we're running several ad campaigns, NOT boosting post, something we've created through Ads Manager, and want to get notified when someone comments an ad.
Is it anyhow possible? I've tried to google, read docs on webhooks or browse through webhooks list - without any luck
Thanks!

I was trying to fetch ny Instagram stories through the official FaceBook API, however it seems to not work. This example does not really to work, indeed it would even seem deprecated! any help? Greetings
Following are my requirements
created space in website that user can come and sign up with FB or Instagram to integrate their account
Through Graph API for FB and API for Instagram, I can able to view and post the images to FB (post is not possible to instagram)
My requirement would be any activities (like and share ) happened at the FB or Instagram page should receives as notification to my website
I came to know there is no direct APIs available to achieving notifications but I have seen them in "Social Stream" app.
any help would be appreciated on how could achieve this functionality
TIA
You can get likes, comments and posts using API. You can poll them at regular interval, compare new data and create your own notifications.
(You have to get your app approved by Instagram to get API permissions, which may be possible for your usecase, if you do get approval, then its possible to achieve what you are trying to do.)
After reading Graph API documentation, stackoverflow questions, etc, i'm still confused on the task i have.
In short what i want:
-i have a classified ads website and i want to publish the ad from it to a facebook group where i'm not an administrator.
I have a facebook page (which is represent my website) from the name of which i want to publish an ad in the group. The ad in the group must be published as the "sale" post.
I'm using Facebook javascript SDK for this.
So, i'm really stuck in how do i do it.
what i tried is publishing using my app, using user/page access_token, but always getting different problems.
Can someone tell me, if it is possible to make what i want? and if possible - the algorhytm, what should i do for that?
I would like to build a project to know users' behavior when they surf facebook website, especially the advertisements showing in their timeline wall. I have learned the basic idea of facebook graph api, knowing how to access the users' information and their feeds. However, I found that the feeds returned by facebook graph api is not "exactly" what user really see when they open facebook url in their browser. First, in graph api, it doesn't show the advertisements posted by sponsors. Second, the feeds returned by facebook api seem only regarding to my own posts(e.g. the photo tagging me, the posts tagging me). So, I would like to know how to access these information to rebuild a testbed that looks like exactly same as the real facebook website to record people reaction to it and continue my research?
Any idea is welcome ^^
This isn't really possible or rather I don't know any API (Facebook/Twitter/etc) that would do this to their third-party developers. The point of the API is to pull user data, not ads.
Also it sounds like you are using /me/posts or/me/feed instead of /me/home
Got a issue with Facebook Graph API. I want to read page notifications via Graph API. But Facebook documentation only states about user's notification.
Following only returns a user's notification (the user who provided the access token for this.)
http://graph.facebook.com/me/notifications
I did following techniques. But no luck.
01. But i tried with different urls with access token provided by the page. (with my stupid guess work by replacing page-id for me)
http://graph.facebook.com/page-id/notifications
02. Checked with Insights API. But Insights doesn't provide a straight forward solutions. This is more like stats. But all i just need a list of latest user/fan/post actions in the page.
https://graph.facebook.com/page-id/insights/field
Some background about my App (hope no issues with this as other API's working),
Platform .Net 4.0
Library I am using is C# Facebook SDK
Facebook documentation doesn't help much. I have spent a few day on this to find a solution for this. Just wondering if any of you guys came across this issue and solved. I hope i didn't put a duplicate question here, as i did search for few days on Stackoverflow too.
Thanks.
There isn't a page notification API. I don't believe there is any way to directly query this data.
You can get notifications of changes to a Facebook page using the Real-Time API. https://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/api/realtime/
Facebook now allows you to read Page unread notifications by querying the edge: {page-id}/notifications.
See https://developers.facebook.com/docs/graph-api/reference/v2.7/page/notifications
From the FB Page docs for the notifications edge...
Notifications for this Page. Deprecated April 30, 2019.
Looks like the only way to track Page notifications at the moment is via the realtime Webhooks for a page, which isn't the same as reading the notifications from FB but it appears to be where we're at...until FB changes their mind again. ;)
