I need to get some metrics from a video. For example suppose to get total_video_views from my video.
Now I use Facebook Graph API to test my operation.
So I create this link ([video_id]/video_insights/total_video_views):

The video is not mine, but it belongs to another facebook page!
The result is the same. the value data is empty. Anyone can help me?

I am running queries against Facebook Graph API to fetch OG meta information about URLs. Using a Facebook APP token, I can request most URLs and get their corresponding meta data back. But I have run into two issues that I can't find a solution for. I have one domain that refuses to pull any meta information using an APP token. Instead I get back an error 100 (Unsupported post request). But when I make the same request using a User Access Token, it works correctly. The second issue I found is that when a URL has any kind of OG error, Facebook is still scraping it, but will return a 100 error instead of returning the meta details (with both the app token and the user access token). I've even tried running the query without the scrape parameter, to no avail.

The second URL seems to be associated with an app id of an app that has some kind of access restrictions set; so I guess it is the same here as if you tried to access information about a Facebook Page that has access restrictions set - you can not query any details about those using the app access token, you need to use a user access token for a user that is allowed to see the content, or a page access token for that page.
And that you get an error response for the third one seems only natural. After all, this is a tool intended to debug and scrape the Open Graph objects you are in control of, so if the OG meta data is not in order it should return an error.
So I have been watching some tutorials about the facebook graph API, and one of the things in the video is to simply navigate to http://graph.facebook.com/youtube
and it should display a json response of their facebook likes etc. This is said to work without an access token?
But this doesn't seem to work, i get the following response -

Yes. Since API v2.0, all API calls (with the profile picture redirect being the exception) need to use an access token.
Public data about public pages can be accessed using an app access token; if the page is not public it needs a user access token for a user that can see the page, or a page access token. (More about the different types of token here: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/facebook-login/access-tokens)

I am trying to access the live views count of a live video that is live through a Facebook Page. I am using the ID that I am obtaining from the API request {page-id}/videos/uploaded When I am using that video id and making a GET request of {video-id}?fields='live_views its showing error code of 100 with the message as:
(#100) Tried accessing nonexisting field (live_views) on node type (Video)
I have the following permissions:
'manage_pages', 'publish_pages', 'business_management', 'read_insights', 'user_videos'
I am making the GET request using user_access_token.
I am using Graph API Version 2.8.
Please let me know if I am using the wrong ID. IF yes, then how can i get the live_video_id of a live video posted in page?
To get the live views count of a video a fan page, you need:
An app created at facebook developer
A user access token (for testing, e.g. by calling https://developers.facebook.com/tools/accesstoken/)
The fan page id
With this you can call graph API in the following format:
https://graph.facebook.com/v2.8/<fan_page_id>/live_videos?access_token=<access_token>?fields=live_views
Of course, you may add more elements in fields parameter if you need more information. Here Facebook's Graph API explorer helps: https://developers.facebook.com/tools/explorer
When you add status to fields parameter, "LIVE" means, it's currently live, "VOD" means it has already finished.

To get live views you need to call the api with the live video id, which you get from calling, page id can initially be either the page-id or name

However I understand the confusion since live_views is not listed under the second endpoint as a reaction nor even is it a reaction, so either it a mistake in facebook docs or a mistake in the graph API, either the solution provided works.
Yes you do need to go through an app review to get the permission for tracking streams

You'd need a page access token to fetch reviews and ratings. Here is a very good short tutorial on getting a page access token: Obtaining page access token.

Next, use the short lived user token to get long lived user token:

This will return another json containing the long lived user token, you can now exchange it for page access token:

This will return you a json with page access token of the page(s) associated with that user account. Use this page access token to fetch ratings and reviews by passing it to:
https://graph.facebook.com/StoneArmsInc/ratings?access_token=<page_access_token>
And you will get all the ratings posted on facebook for that page.

The ratings edge has the reviews in it now, but you need to have a page access token to get it.

Note that to get the page access token you have to use a user token from someone who is an admin of the page. I don't know if that's a problem for you.

I created and APP on the Facebook.
Now I am trying to post a comment on the user's timeline using the Graph API but I cannot undestand what I need to do.

So this part seems OK.
On my application I do the following to try to post somenthing on my timeline (I need to post it when I am off line).

So I tried to add client_id=APPID and app_id=APPID, I tried to put one, the other and also both arguments as GET or POST but nothing changed.
I checked the APPId ad it is correct.

You cant simply generate a user access_token by querying to a URL. What you did gives the App access token and as the error say, you are trying to do something, that needs user access_token.

And use that access_token for the rest of the processes.
