I want to remove space before footer in word file. I am using 15.37 version of Word on Macbook. I have tried the method mentioned in https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/office/forum/office_2010se-word/how-can-i-remove-the-space-above-the-footnote/6bcb9853-74d9-41c0-afd3-9a5c3394171c?page=1&auth=1 but still not solved.
I want to remove space mentioned in red box and it only appears on the first page only.
I have also attached the screenshot of my paragraph setting. Thanks in advance.
You can go to Header and Footer section in Word. Adjust Footer from Bottom in the top-right corner. It will reduce the space between actual text and footer section.

This special header tooltip appears when I click on the row header. The sum is not a useful aggregation here. How can I edit it or turn it off? Regular tooltips for this worksheet are turned off.
My last resort will be to hover a blank box over the header region so it cannot be clicked by a user, but I'd rather them be able to click to highlight.
The best way to achieve this is by turning off the tooltip features as follows:
This will remove the tooltips completely
I am using Word and Visio 2019. Created a new word document, and a new Visio document (8.5x11). I then created a swimlane in Visio and resized it to 6.5" and then CTRL+A, CTRL+C in Visio, and then CTRL+V in word, and word for some reason adds whitespace to the right and bottom of the diagram.
I can crop this whitespace away, but there is no way to tell word to crop to a specific size so I get some random sized diagram in my document. Is there a way to auto crop the added whitespace, or tell Word to import the diagram without adding the white space?
Update:
Fixed CTRL+P -> CTRL+V.
Also, it appears that this was a bug with Word/Visio as the problem disappeared after an update.
This was fixed with an update to Word.
I am trying to show a tick mark (character code 0xFC) belonging to Wingdings font on a static text element in Jaspersoft Studio. But this tickmark doesn't appear when I do a preview of the report.
What I have done so far.
Dragged a static text element onto the report
Changed the font to wingdings and entered the text as 0xFC
On clicking preview I only see see 4 boxes & not the tick mark
Note: I do have this font on my computer.
I think I found the solution. Earlier I was trying to enter character code in the text box. Now I copied the font from the character Map to MS Word & from there I copied the font to my report. Now it seems to appear correctly
I have recently upgraded crystal reports to the latest version, and some margins appear to have been introduced. i've included a picture - this is the report preview. What are these dotted lines? (they only appear top and left)
The page setup is set to A4 and 0 for all margins
Some extra information. If I print out from the original version, and print out from this newer version, everything on the page has been shifted down by about half a cm (the same size as that top margin essentially)
I can make the lines disappear and reappear by toggling Freeze Pane
Page Setup Screen:
Layout Tab under Options
When you upgraded Crystal probably reset your options to display guidelines in Preview mode. Head to "File" → "Options" → In the upper right of the window, deselect "Guidelines" under the "Preview" section.
Otherwise, Crystal will print those dotted lines anywhere you have horizontal or vertical guidelines placed in the Design view ruler.
Basically, I want to move the scrollbar up and down with shortcuts instead using the up arrow.
I'm using Mac OS X.
Page up and page down should scroll up and down a page at a time for you. I don't think you can do half a page specifically.
Edited to add: This should scroll so that the upper or lowermost line on the page you scrolled from becomes the first or last line on the next page, which makes it easy to keep your place.
