Access to the jEdit variables from SuperAbbrevs template - plugins

I wonder if there is any way how to access jEdit variables (like the buffer variable) from the beanshell inside SuperAbbrevs plugin template.
When I try to expand following template, the error Attempt to resolve method: getName() on undefined variable or class name: buffer appears int Activity log.
<#= buffer.getName() #>
When I try to run this code in the BeanShell console then it displays the current buffer name:
buffer.getName()
Is it possible to access buffer name from the SuperAbbrevs template?

As far as I can see from a quick look at that plugins sources, those variables are not forwarded to the templates. Only the variables you define in the options of the plugin and additionally filename and selection.
In your example filename is exactly what you want, so <#= filename #> works for inserting the name of the file. If you would need more, you would probably need to issue a plugin feature request.

How to Load PowerShell Functions On-Demand?

In my personal PowerShell profile that loads whenever I start PowerShell, I want to include a set of functions by calling a function.
So I want to do something like this:
function loadMyFunctions{
. \MyFunctions.ps1
}
Now, in MyFunctions.ps1 I have a function:
function bobtest{
write-host "My name is Bob Newhart."
}
I am able to load the script MyFunctions.ps1, but after that is loaded I am not able to call bobtest in the console - I get the error message The term bobtest is not recognized...
However, if I just load the script outside the function then that script is loaded and I can call bobtest normally - but that means that I can't just not load MyFunctions when the profile is loaded - I have to load MyFunctions and cannot choose.
You see, I want to load the other functions on demand and not have them available until I choose.
Is there another way to do this or can it even be done?

This will enable you to create a module which will have all your custom functions! Then inside of your loadMyFunctions cmdlet add Import-Module NewModuleName.
This will enable you to use your cmdlets.

Best way is to use modules. But still if you want to get in some different ways , then you can try with your approach.

I have a function addition which simply does addition and I saved it as funct1.ps1
Now I am calling the same function from another function of the other script just using dot source without using as module and it results me properly.

Is there a detailed documentation on how to create own jsdoc templates?

Short version:
If I wanted to develop a completely new jsDoc template from scratch, what would I have to read to understand what jsDoc does, what interface my template must provide and what data I get to work with?
Long version:
I've been using jsDoc for a while now and have come across some tags that I would like to add and overview pages that I would like to have generated out of my documentation. Up to now I solved all my "user problems" with usejsdoc.org. I even managed to add a new jsdoc plugin that adds some tags. However, I can't find any developer documentation on how to create templates for jsdoc. I use ink-docstrap so I clicked my way through the template-folder (publish.js, /tmpl, etc.) and somehow got the idea of how everything works. But its very very time consuming.
What should I read to become a jsDoc template pro?
These instructions are the closest I could find:
To create or use your own template:
Create a folder with the same name as your template (for example, mycooltemplate).
Within the template folder, create a file named publish.js. This file must be a CommonJS module that exports a method named publish.
For example:

I am running into a similar difficulty with lack of documentation. There is a GitHub issue that has been open for 7 years on this: Provide docs that explain how templates work.
The only example I've found so far of a custom template that doesn't look like just a modified version of the default is Ramda's documentation. It looks like they use a completely custom publish.js script that uses handlebars.js instead of underscore.js templates, constructs a non-hierarchical nav, pulls info from #sig and #category tags, and uses links to github for 'view source' instead of rendering its own html pages for source code.
Some of their code will be difficult to understand unless you are familiar with Ramda and functional programming (they use Ramda itself in their version of publish.js) but dumping out the values of data and docs during execution should help provide insight into what is going on.
It is helpful as well that their template is a single file so you don't have to jump between a lot of partial template files to follow how the doc is constructed.
I've just published my own new jsdoc theme. What I did is I simply copied the default template: https://github.com/jsdoc3/jsdoc/tree/master/templates/default, and worked on that.
I also managed to add grunt with the following features:
* transcompile + minify js files
* parse sass styles and minify them
* refresh the docs when you change something

you can customize one of existing templates (default, haruki or silent):
go into node_modules/jsdoc/template and grab on of them into your app directory outside node_modules.
feel free to rename the dir ex: jsdoc-template.
open jsdoc-template update/customize the content as you want. ex: open publish.js find Home and replace My Js App.
update jsdoc.json by adding:

This is tailored for my company's projects, but it may be helpful as another learning tool. It adds a 'Show private' checkbox, updates Bootstrap to v5.13, replaces Handlebars with Pug, adds JSDoc comments to the publish.js script itself, and supports setting an environment variable to dump data to console during doc generation.

Setting up email content in editable email notification for Jenkins jobs

I started out by writing html code in the "Default content" section but that is not meeting my requirements since all the information I want to include in the email (html) is not available.
My questions are :
How can I set an environment variable in post build actions that I can then use in the default content section ? Is that even possible ?
How can I the know the path of a file present in the workspace after the build is done. The path contains a folder that is named using timestamp and I was looking for a way to get to the build results folder for the current build easily. Is there a way ?
You can use ${ENV, var="VARNAME"} (where VARNAME is the environment variable that you want to reference) anywhere in your HTML
As for your build folder, if it's a random timestamp during the build, you can't reference it unless you save that value to a properties file and then read it with ${PROPFILE,file="FILENAME",property="PROPERTYNAME"}
If you are using Jenkins's build timestamp BUILD_ID then you can reference that as any other environment variable.

Jenkins How can i upload a text file and use it as a parameter

I have a txt file that is holding a string inside, I want to be able to use this string in one of my scripts, so I'm wondering if there is a way to set the content of the file as one of the build properties or parameters which I'll be able to use in my scripts it should be the same as using one of the build environment properties.
For example : ${JOB_NAME} which is holding the the job name, so in the same way I want to access the content of the file which is holding some value inside.
Is it possible?
You can upload a file from your computer to the workspace through the File parameter of the job.
You can use Extended Choice plugin parameter, to read value(s) from a file and display them in a dropdown/radio-button/checkbox for the user to select, dynamically, every time the build is triggered.
You can use EnvInject plugin to read value(s) from a file and inject them into the build as environment variables, so that they can be used by the rest of the build steps/scripts.
Your question is very unclear on what your are trying to do. Pick one of the 3 methods above based on what you need, or clarify your question.

How to add an extra plist property using CMake?

I'm trying to add the item
<key>UIStatusBarHidden</key><true/>
to my plist that's auto-generated by CMake. For certain keys, it appears there are pre-defined ways to add an item; for example:
set(MACOSX_BUNDLE_ICON_FILE ${ICON})
But I can't find a way to add an arbitrary property.
I tried using the MACOSX_BUNDLE_INFO_PLIST target property as follows: I'd like the resulting plist to be identical to the old one, except with the new property I want, so I just copied the auto-generated plist and set that as my template. But the plist uses some Xcode variables, which also look like ${foo}, and CMake grumbles about this:

In any case, I'm not even sure that this is the right thing to do. I can't find a good example or any good documentation about this. Ideally, I'd just let CMake generate everything as before, and just add a single extra line. What can I do?
Have you looked into copying the relevant *.plist.in file in /opt/local/share/cmake-2.8/Modules (such as MacOSXBundleInfo.plist.in), editing it to put <key>UIStatusBarHidden</key><true/> (or #VAR_TO_REPLACE_BY_CMAKE#), and adding the directory of the edited version in the CMAKE_MODULE_PATH?
If you have CMake installed as an app bundle, then the location of that file is /Applications/CMake.app/Contents/share/cmake-N.N/Modules
You can add your values using # and pass #ONLY to configure_file.
Unfortunately there is no simple way to add custom line to generated file.
