I'm trying to resurrect an older VB6 app and when compiling it throws an error:
Code:
Set mDom = DHTMLMessage.DOM
Error message:
Variable Not Defined
(on DHTMLMessage).
I have searched google and various VB6 sites but cannot understand the issue. Also read a bit about DOM but frankly I am not a solid VB6 guy. As far as I can tell References are correct - I think.
I have checked for missing code but still cannot work out why this error is appearing.

I am currently working on an IOS app built through Swift on Xcode. Firebase packages are installed using Cocoapods, and all pods are updated. Additionally, I double-checked that the Plist and Google-Service Info files are correct.
This is the full error line I receive when logging into the app and trying to retrieve user information from the database:
nw_proxy_resolver_create_parsed_array [C3.1.1 proxy pac] Evaluation
error: NSURLErrorDomain: -1003
I am unable to figure out how to resolve this issue as there were no changes in my code and it was working beforehand perfectly.
I can provide code snippets if needed but since the app was working prior, I am assuming this isn't related to my code.
The only time I was able to solve this issue temporarily was to reset the package caches through XCode, allowing me to view posts and other content pulled from the firebase backend. Unfortunately, after I restarted the app, this solution did not work anymore, and the same error from above popped up. Since resetting the package caches worked initially, I am assuming there is no direct correlation between the error and my source code.
Does anyone have any idea as to ways I can solve this issue? It has prevented me from working on my app for several days now. Thanks for any help!
Update: After looking over my code one more time, I found that there was a missing dot in a line of code, leading to my IOS app not running. This did NOT solve the error of nw_proxy_resolver_create_parsed_array [C3.1.1 proxy pac] Evaluation error: NSURLErrorDomain: -1003, but since the app is working successfully, my problem is solved.
I am using jquery file upload on a page, and the following error is being raised in the browser console.
TypeError: undefined is not an object (evaluating '$.blueimp.fileupload.prototype.options.processQueue.push')
It appears to be coming from jquery.fileupload-validate.
I have been unable to find much information about this error. From previous experience jquery file upload seems to be very sensitive to the order in which modules are loaded, but again I've been unable to find much in the way of documentation about this.
Has anyone else encountered this error, or can shed some light on load order or other possible causes?
BTW, I am currently loading files in the following order (though have tried others without success)
jquery.fileupload
jquery.fileupload-ui
jquery.fileupload-validate
jquery.fileupload-process
jquery.fileupload-image
jquery.iframe-transport
Try this order:
js/jquery-3.3.1.js
js/jquery.ui.widget.js
js/jquery.iframe-transport.js
js/jquery.fileupload.js
js/jquery.fileupload-process.js
js/jquery.fileupload-image.js
js/jquery.fileupload-validate.js
Recently I've been getting an Error from NetSuite. We have a Custom Restlet which is receiving a JSON which is used to create Sales Order inside of NetSuite. In SandBox it worked fine so far, but in production not.
Error:
STACK_MESSAGE: java.lang.IllegalStateException: wrap should never be called unless shutter.visibleToScripts is called first.class com.netledger.app.common.scripting.nlobjError/class java.lang.Class
Can anyone help me with this?
NetSuite has this cute little thing where it throws Java exceptions when running JS. My presumption is that the JS is compiled as Java before being run, so sometimes you can get unhandelable execptions like this one (or having fixed sized arrays in JS.. crazy right!).
IllegalStateException
Signals that a method has been invoked at an illegal or inappropriate time.
http://docs.oracle.com/javame/config/cldc/ref-impl/midp2.0/jsr118/java/lang/IllegalStateException.html
What you can do is try doing some unit testing to find out what part of your code is causing the bug, then try to find a workaround as if it were Java code.
I have an application that uses brunch, chaplin, and coffeescript for the front end. Brunch builds the application without any errors. However, when I do brunch watch --serverand navigate to http://localhost:3333, an error is generated and the page never loads.
This was previously working just fine. diff shows no changes in the repository that would account for the change in behavior. I also checked out previous versions of the front end code from when I know the dev. server was working, but they all give the same error. I tried deleting the built code and completely rebuilding, but that didn't help either.
I am thinking it must be something I did in an untracked file, but for the life of me, I can't find it. Here is the output of the chrome error message:
Resource interpreted as Stylesheet but transferred with MIME type text/html: "http://localhost:3333/pub/css/app.css". localhost/:10
Resource interpreted as Script but transferred with MIME type text/html: "http://localhost:3333/pub/js/vendor.js". localhost/:11
Resource interpreted as Script but transferred with MIME type text/html: "http://localhost:3333/pub/js/app.js". localhost/:20
Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token < vendor.js:1
Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token < app.js:1
Uncaught ReferenceError: require is not defined (index):21
(anonymous function) (index):21
The offending line in index appears to be
<script>require('initialize');</script>
This line is unchanged from other similarly configured projects that work perfectly. I assume it is probably something dumb, but it is just vague enough that web search hasn't helped much. Hopefully someone else has come across this.
What can I do do diagnose the problem or fix this?
You have to confirm, but I believe you are getting 404 errors on your JavaScript and Stylesheets, so they are returning HTML pages that describe the 404 error. That's why that line of JavaScript is erroring out - it depends on code in app.js, which is not being loaded.
Make sure the paths are correct, i.e. point your browser to http://localhost:3333/pub/css/app.css and confirm that you get a CSS file and not a 404 from your web server. If you get a 404, that means you have to update the href for the CSS and the src for the JS, or make sure Brunch is placing the files where they are supposed to be.
I was trying to mess around with this new "easy" way to use google analytics API. Did not work for me even though I followed the instructions correctly. Anyone have any issues with this?
Try it out...
http://analytics-api-samples.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/src/reporting/javascript/ez-ga-dash/docs/user-documentation.html
Another easy fix is to set up a button to actually call the render method, rather than having it execute instantly like the basic example. (last line, chained method)
- or a 3-5 second timeout
Or use the "cool demo" link for a better starting point code
yes i tried it also and not worked.
It seems like i'm missing some library on my localhost. I've checked the scripts execution and when it does
if (gapi.client.analytics) {
it throws the error:
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'analytics' of undefined
this.renderFunction();
Regards
While I was getting an undefined error, I changed code in line 220 as a temporary fix.
Know it loads perfectly. this is the code:
// If the client library has loaded.
if(typeof gapi.client != 'undefined'){ //new code
//if (gapi.client.analytics) {
