SOATEST: NOt able to connect to database with the Oracle 12c drivers installed in JDBC folder - oracle12c

I have been using Parasoft SOATEST 9.9 and was using it to develop and run my web services tests against our server(using Oracle 11g drivers). Recently we moved to use the Oracle 12c drivers(12.2.0.1) and I replaced my earlier oracle.jar to 'ojdbc8-12.2.0.1.jar' and made sure to point this in my Parasoft > Preferences> JDBC drivers (enclsoed screenshot of the Preferences window) and after that when I run my tests, I am getting the below error and not able to connect to database: Can someone please help ? What is your JDK version? ojdbc8.jar requires JDK 8. Please refer to FAQ for more details.

Your Parasoft SOAtest v9.9 is using older version of Java (Java 7)
You have two options:
upgrade your SOAtest to latest version (recommended - now v9.10.3)
start soatest.exe with option -Zjava_home {path_to_Java)
i.e: soatest.exe -Zjava_home "C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_131"

I am developing behind a very strict proxy managed by our client and am unable to user --packages instead, and I am at a bit of a loss here, am I unable to load all 3 dependencies at the launch of the shell? Am I missing another step somewhere?
In the Structured Streaming + Kafka Integration Guide it says:
For experimenting on spark-shell, you need to add this above library and its dependencies too when invoking spark-shell.
The library you are using seems to be customized and not publicly available in the maven central repository. That means, I can not look into its dependencies.
However, looking at the latest stable version 2.4.5 the dependencies according to maven central repository is kafka-clients version 2.0.0.
You are trying to import multiple scala versions 2.11 & 2.12 of different libraries.
Please add same version of scala libraries & check below how to import into spark-shell.

One occasionally disruptive issue is dealing with dependency conflicts in cases where a user application and Spark itself both depend on the same library. This comes up relatively rarely, but when it does, it can be vexing for users. Typically, this will manifest itself when a NoSuchMethodError, a ClassNotFoundException, or some other JVM exception related to class loading is thrown during the execution of a Spark job. There are two solutions to this problem. The first is to modify your application to depend on the same version of the third-party library that Spark does. The second is to modify the packaging of your application using a procedure that is often called “shading.” The Maven build tool supports shading through advanced configuration of the plug-in shown in Example 7-5 (in fact, the shading capability is why the plugin is named maven-shade-plugin). Shading allows you to make a second copy of the conflicting package under a different namespace and rewrites your application’s code to use the renamed version. This somewhat brute-force technique is quite effective at resolving runtime dependency conflicts. For specific instructions on how to shade dependencies, see the documentation for your build tool.
I would try to know the scala version of the spark-shell because, it can be a scala version issue

if not, then check what spark version you are using and third-party library versions you are using as dependencies because, I am sure there is newest or oldest that your spark version doesn't support.

install4j 6.1.6: "Replacement script for language code" doesn't work on MacOS

We use install4j for our software and we have different languages for our application and for installer too. We are migrating from install4j 5.1.3 to install4j 6.1.6 . During check of installers we've found that "Replacement script for language code" doesn't work on MacOS. For verification I've just built simple installer that returns just "en" in the replacement script. Manual says that Language Selection Dialog should't be shown it that case, but on MacOS it is shown.

However, the I4jScript_Internal_7 class is contained in user.jar in archive and it is our script, but for some reason install4j couldn't load it.
This is a bug that will be fixed in 7.0.5.

It seems to be a problem of mismatch between the JDK necessary for the google vr sdk and yours. You might need to update your JDK and Android SDK.

The error that you're seeing may happen once in a while, especially in Grails 2.1.x.
Run the command(mvn -Dgrails.env=test package) couple of times and you'll notice that your problem is intermittent, it cannot be reproduced all the time.
Setting the fork option to false in your pom.xml seems to 'fix' it, in most cases. It's probably a Grails bug for 2.1.x releases.
I haven't seen the issue yet in newer Grails versions.
I just encountered the same error after upgrading Grails from 2.2.1 to 2.2.4 .
The issue was that the plugin directory was not cleared out and was clashing with the new plugins coming in.
The solution is to delete all of the plugins in the project root/plugins directory and then run any grails or maven commands to reinstall the new set of plugins.

RCP with SWT.Browser and XULRunner

I'm developing an RCP application (Windows) with SWT.Browser (SWT.MOZILLA):

It's working fine with the old XULRunner 3.6.23 and the installation described here:
xulrunner.exe --register-global
I want to use the new XULRunner 8.x, but as mentioned here the old way to install XULRunner was removed.
So I added the XULRunner-Path programmatically:

But when I start my application, I'll get the following error

So what's the preferred way to embed XULRunner 8.x with an RCP application and avoiding this error?
As of Eclipse 3.8 / 4.2 M6 the org.eclipse.swt.browser now supports embedding XULRunner 10.0.x, but you must ship a XULRunner 10 runtime and explicitly point at it as described in the FAQ:

Mozilla is not maintaining JavaXPCOM anymore, but as Grant Gayed says:
The Browser does not require JavaXPCOM in order for it to work, it just exposes

XULRunner 10 will currently not run under Linux because of Mozilla bug 720682.
For Windows you can also use the Internet-Explorer as browser until eclipse supports xulrunner correctly (will be in a 4.3.x version).
For IE:
just specify

Without that it showing IE 9.0 or with another xulunner which i not confirm from where get this is working fine but showing firefox version 5.0. Any idea how i can update with latest firefox version.
Eclipse_4.4.2 now supports XULRunner24.0, you can try this version.
