I am using TinyMCE 4.7.9 and it runs perfectly in Chrome and Firefox. But in IE 11 (Version 11.0.9600) there is an error in the console.
TinyMCE does not support the browser you are using. For a list of supported browsers please see: https://www.tinymce.com/docs/get-started/system-requirements
In the system-requirements from TinyMCE the IE 11 seems to be supported.
Anyone with the same Problem or a solution?
Are you emulating an older IE release? If you have IE11 set to emulate an older release you will see this message.
You may have compatibility mode enabled. This could make TinyMCE think that you're using an older version of IE.

I am using IE 10 on a new computer and when I try to open the Onscreen Reference for Intuit Development Kits, I get a message that BackBase software does not support the browser. After downloading the latest Firefox, I am able to open the OSR, but it acts strangely. What can I do to get IE 10 to open the OSR or to get Firefox to work properly?
Enable compatibility mode and see if that resolves the issue.
Until recently, when paused in Chrome debugger on a breakpoint, the current state of a JavaScript variable, array or object would pop up in a yellow dialog if hovered over with a mouse. That is no longer working though I'm at a loss to know what has changed. Has anyone else experienced this? It's really making debugging a lot more difficult on this computer. My other computer still has the normal behavior in Chrome Dev Tools (both Windows 7 machines). Thanks in advance.
The same thing happened to me on 16/12/19, with version 79. But in Chrome canary, it is working fine. People who need can download it here (you can use it for now) or you can use Chrome Dev here
For the people who don't know about Chrome Canary or Dev
Chrome Canary is an experimental version of the popular Chrome browser. Google offers four release channels for its Chrome browser: Stable, Beta, Dev, and Canary. Most people use the Stable release of Chrome, which is rigorously tested and considered very reliable.
By contrast, Chrome Canary may appeal to people who like noodling around with new technology and want to get an advance look at what the standard Chrome browser may look like in the future.
Updated my chrome to version 79.0.3945.117 (Official Build) (64-bit). popup after hovering to variable is not showing.
Luckily, I found solution on google(don't know about the source now). Simply turn off the
Hardware acceleration feature and it worked. If you ignore impact of hardware acceleration turn off, this is the ideal one.
Canary version 81>= is another solution for this feature to work.
This was resolved in a later version of Chrome and is no longer an issue.
I encounter a strange issue for configurable products on Magento 1.7 default iphone theme. If I visit this site with a mobile device (Android 2.3.3/default browser), I just cannot choose the product option from select-element. It works quite nice on same device and mobile versions of Firefox and Opera though.
On my colleagues mobile device (Android 4, default browser) it is just working great. What could be the cause of this behavior and how can it be fixed?
select menus to come back when I removed data-position="fixed" from both the header and footer (before and after). I then went back to the original example, made only that one change, and found that it also fixed the problem there.
Could you please suggest a debugging tool for browser issues?
Use IE developer tools. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=e59c3964-672d-4511-bb3e-2d5e1db91038&displaylang=en
I have been having some general problems with TinyMCE inside Opera. Some of these include:
the save button produces an error
when submitting to a popup with an entire form, including TinyMCE, nothing gets posted to the popup (when TinyMCE is removed it works fine)
Has anyone else experienced these errors and/or does anyone have a solution to make TinyMCE more compatible with Opera?
TinyMCE is not the only rich text editor for web. You could even try a what you mean editor or some Flash based solution.
I recommend CKEditor, it works like a charm on Opera and is also very configurable and powerful. I also had some issues with TinyMCE using the latest Opera to date (v12.15).
It depends on the version of Opera Mini you are using. The supported version is v.50 and above. The Opera Mini version 52.3.21517 and above are the supported version for TinyMCE. You can get the version 50 of opera mini mobile browser here https://press.opera.com/2019/02/19/opera-for-android-hits-version-50/
