How to show integrated terminals in VS Code as tabs rather then dropdown, how to rename them? - visual-studio-code

I am wandering to find the way to show integrated terminals in VS Code as tabs rather then dropdown, and give them names. Its a habit that come from WebStrom as on pic 1. Is it possible to do so? Now it looks like on pic 2, and there is no way to rename tabs which is also desirable.

Showing it as tabs is not possible currently according to this github issue. However, you can use an extension which shows terminal tabs at the bottom.
Inorder to rename a terminal,
Open the command palette by clicking CTRL+Shift+p and type "Terminal:Rename"
Click Enter you will get:
Enter the name you need and press Enter

VS Code Terminal- Split for client and server folder

How to split the terminal of VSCode into two parts and run code(git command) of client and server in both individuals terminals.
I have attached an image pls see I have to achieve that only means run both folders in two terminals. I have to achieve that only.
Open the Terminal view, press the + icon to add a new terminal, select a directory to use. Once you have multiple terminal sessions, you'll see that sidebar menu listing them. Click and drag one into whatever area you wish it to occupy.
Alternatively, you can look at using a terminal multiplexer, but that's not what's being used in the screenshot you show.

VS Code Terminal panel [duplicate]

Is it possible to get tabs instead of the select list when using multiple terminals from the "integrated terminal" window?
Terminal "tabs" appear to be coming to v1.56. See Terminal Tabs release notes. They are vertical tabs - always visible, if you want, in a resizable view to the left or right. Not like traditional tabs across the top like a browser though.
Tabs in the terminal [are] available as a preview feature and can be
enabled with the following setting:
"terminal.integrated.tabs.enabled": true
The tabs view is a split pane to the right of two split terminals. It
contains icons and labels for each terminal instance.
When enabled, the new tabs view will only show by default when there
is at least 2 terminals.
We've tried to mostly align how the new tabs behave with how the
explorer works, here are some of the other behaviors:
Double clicking the empty space will create a new terminal.
Double clicking the sash will toggle the tabs view width between the "ideal" size which displays all the titles without truncating and a
narrow view that shows only the icons.
The tabs can be moved to the left side using the terminal.integrated.tabs.location setting.
Various other configuration settings available under terminal.integrated.tabs.
Terminal Statuses
Along with tabs, we have introduced the concept of statuses to the
terminal. A terminal can have many statuses, each of which represents
a state the terminal can be in temporarily, with the highest severity
one being displayed next to the tab. Status icons appear to the right
of the terminal title in the tabs view. On hover, details of the
status and any associated actions are presented.
On a tab associated with a terminal that requires a relaunch, a
yellow triangle with an exclamation mark is to the right of the
terminal title.
For now, these states are supported:
Relaunch needed: A warning icon status is used if extensions want to change a terminal's environment.
Disconnected: A plug icon status is used when the terminal loses its connection with its process.
Bell: A bell icon appears when the bell is enabled via the terminal.integrated.enableBell setting and the terminal bell
triggers.
We plan to support task states soon so that task run status is
available at a glance even without activating the tab.
And more at the link. From the Insiders Build:
NO EXTENSION REQUIRED, as docs say:
Ctrl+Shift+5
If enough space, you can press it multiple times. However, as always, extensions might be more sophisticated for the job.
They are called "Terminal Tabs" and you can un-check them to turn them off. Go to your VS code setting User->Features->Terminal and look for the section called "Integrated > Tabs:Enabled" and un-check it.

I removed the bottom bar of VScode which shows the errors and errors, how can I recover it؟

I made an error yesterday when I was editing for a web contest, but no matter how hard I tried to send those edits to GitHub, I had to try the options in VS as usual to solve various problems. But I pressed an option without thinking and the E light disappears in the image below. Now I do not know how to return it.
And now my VS is like this
Open Settings using the shortcut Ctrl + ,
Search for "Workbench Status Bar" and look for the following option
Tick this checkbox

Linux terminal style Tab autocompletion in Vscode

When I type document.q several suggestions popup and when I press Tab it accepts the first suggestion, I need to press ⬇ key several times to pick the desired. I'm not a fan of ⬇ key. I'm a fan of an autocompletion found in a Linux terminal. Say there are following directories in CWD.
musicold
musicvideos
musicvideoshot
cd m and press Tab it will find only music part, and then you type v and press Tab it'll find musicvideos etc.
Couldn't find such a setting in Vscode version 1.19.0.
Quick suggestions do use fuzzy search so you can type "document.qsa" and get to "document.querySelectorAll" for example quite fast.
