I'm starting with Ionic and trying to figure it out, best practices and how the life cycle works, etc.
On a test project I'm working there's a small game capability, like a quiz or something.
Whats the correct way of saving the user progress and game settings? I don't have a backend to connect... Wondering if this Firebase is good to do this kind of stuff.
ps.: sorry for my english
Maybe you can use these:

I hope help you.

noob here.
I did an app on ionic, is pretty basic just images, buttons and text; the buttons are linked to another page and stuf like that, i mean there is no logic still like a loop or something.
What i was asked is to update the project of the app that is on ionic1 to ionic4 because someone that is willing to help me works with ionic4 and not ionic1.
Is there a guide for noobs to do this? i have been looking on google but nothing pop up
i read this but to a noob makes no sense https://ionicframework.com/blog/a-guide-for-migrating-to-ionic-4-0/
But the solution is kind of like this:
"Then, create a new Ionic 4 application and begin porting features over. Once the team is comfortable that the new app is stable, you can shut down the Ionic 1 app"
Thanks in advance!
The reason why there isn't a straightforward guide is because an absolutely huge amount of changes were made.
Take a look at the breaking.md document on the repo, its over 1000 lines long:
https://github.com/ionic-team/ionic/blob/master/angular/BREAKING.md
There is a linting tool that could help you identify the main areas that you need to migrate, and if it's just a simple app like you say then it could do a lot of the work for you:
https://github.com/ionic-team/v4-migration-tslint
Beyond that the only real way is to look at every tag and then search it and see if its listed in the breaking change. If it is then update it.
The reason why the official advice is to make a new app and port features over is that otherwise you will have a non-working app basically forever up to the last moment where it starts working. Not the best way to learn so they say start with a new working app and build bits in it that are already Ionic 4.
I've got an application built in flutter where we have a page transition that currently just sticks to pretty out of the box stack/slide.
We're trying to create a page curl effect similar to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e1znh05-iXY on the transition but not having much luck faking it with 2D animation/clip-path coupled with the gesture controlling the path similarly to the video being extremely difficult, almost impossible
Until we have some sort of 3D support within Flutter - the only way to do it that I can think of is using Unity3D via https://pub.dartlang.org/packages/flutter_unity_widget
But I don't know how this will work when we need it for every page?
OR
Going the other way and importing our Flutter app as a library in Unity to render every page within Unity.
Could I please gets some thoughts on whether either approach will work and any advice on a potential path forward?
Thanks in advance guys.
see this plugin, it's close to what you need you can take inspiration :)
https://pub.dartlang.org/packages/flip_card
Please have a look on fiverr.com's page. they have sign in/register buttons that pop up and darkens the page behind it.
Any suggestions for this functionality on Wordpress? I'd be happy to pay for a good plug in!
Just as a reference - I do not use WordPress, but I am almost certain this functionality is in it somewhere. To answer at the heart of your question though using other means...
You can absolutely do this using CSS/jQuery/PHP. Here is a link to get you started on a tutorial. There is also a number of other tutorials for this with simple google searches.

As for darkening the background, you should be able to do that using CSS/jQuery for the on-click/open events.
For a specific wordpress solution, I believe this might be what you are looking for but to be frank, I have very little experience with WP so can't confirm it is correct.

Best of luck!
Is there any particular way to integrate Captch code validation in iPhone application?
is this possible to create captcha? (with or without web-service / any API)
If any kind of external library or any source is required to be imported, then also please let me know.
Any kind of link or source code is available then please suggest me.
Also suggest from where to start to do this, if possible.
Thanks in advance.
I know you probably don't want to hear this, but why do you need captcha on iPhone? It's completely useless since there are no bots or something.
But if you really need it then make some image with white background and then use this code
http://iphonesdksnippets.com/post/2009/05/05/Add-text-to-image-%28UIImage%29.aspx
to add text to the image... once you'll have this, then just check if the entered string is equal to the randomly generated one on the image and you are good to go.
I didn't find any libraries which could be used as a captcha, so I think this is probably the best solution right now.
Cya,

I just want to add a event manually in my prog from using the kalcalender from add button. But basically i have no idea of that.
https://github.com/klazuka/Kal
I try to understand from the nativecal, But i cant get it.
thanks in advance.
Hopefully someone else can help you on your question, but I assume you've already considered using Apple's EKEventEditViewController. The Event Kit Programming Guide explains is pretty well. I add calendar events in the user's calendar incredibly easily with that, but perhaps you're trying to do something that I don't understand.
