Export and Import of an organisation in Jasper - jasperserver

I was wondering if there are any options to export entities / configuration from Jasper. As Jasper doesn’t have an option to disable data sources, I am considering the possibility of backing up / exporting selected entities from Jasper and then delete them.
Later I can use the backup to import the entities if required in future.
I am considering the following items.
Data source
Ad-hoc Views
Ad-hoc Reports
Basically, I want to backup everything under an organization.

I think from Jasperserver 6.3.0(maybe some earlier version) jasperadmin can export entire organization.
This is from the doc:
To export organizations:
Log in as an administrator that has access to the organizations you want to export. For example, to move an organization, you must log in as the administrator of the parent organization.
Select Manage > Organizations to display the hierarchy of organizations.
In the left-hand panel, right-click the organization you want to export and select Export from the context menu.

Extract project and Report level metadata from obiee12c

As we have below command to extract all the projects/reports from obiee12c analytics
exportServiceInstance( '/oraclehome/user_projects/domains/bi','mycompany.facility', '/workDir', '/scratch/exportDir')
This command provided extracts all metadata information of every projects and folders and report present in analytics as a archived bar file.Is there any other way were I can get metadata information of particular report or project which I need and not all the projects as a bar file or any?
OBIEE comes with several client tool with the "Catalog Manager" being the admin tool of choice for handling catalog-related tasks like yours. It exists as a GU and a command line both so you can also automate/script repetitive tasks like reporting on your reporting objects.
Have a look at the official documentation as it's too much text to just post into an answer here and you may come across things you want or need in there which go beyond your initial question here:
https://docs.oracle.com/middleware/12211/biee/BIESG/GUID-E804B1AF-B792-4929-BE47-33CA0F668715.htm#BIESG340
I you only need the reports you can export your reports folder directly from the catalog in OBI web interface or using "Catalog Manager" as suggested by #Chris.
For the repository you can connect Online to your server then from file -> Copy As
Note : exporting the service instance is used for environment migration, it's easier to move all what you need with one bar file (for example having DEV PROD environments).

How to maintain Work Item traceability in azure devops

We have requirements for our project in excel format. Now i want this requirement to be upload into azure devops as work items. I have created epic ->Feature-> product backlog item -> task. we have many to many relationship among these items. We also need to create some other custom work items for scenario and use cases. These are also linked with many to many relationship.
How could i upload these data into azure devops with this complicated mapping so that nothing from the requirement will left over.
How to bulk upload this many to many mapping.
How to bulk upload this many to many mapping.
As far as I know, you could use the Tree list in Excel to bulk upload the work items.
You could create the work items with Parent-child link. Then you could add additional relationships between the work items(e.g. related , referenced).
Here are the steps:
Step1: Connect the Azure Devops Project in Excel -> Teams. Then select new list -> Input List.
Step2: Use the Add Tree level option to convert the list type to Tree type(Parent/Child).
Step3: Create work items with parent-child relationship and Publish to Azure Devops Project.
Step4: Click the Links and Attachments -> Link to to add additional relationship.
Then click the publish option to update the relationship.
In this case, all relevant relationships will be reflected in azure devops.

Exporting in Netsuite

One of our customer's uses Netsuite ERP. We would like to be able accept pick tickets(orders) from them in a format that would allow us to import the pick tickets into our custom built ERP system. Naturally, I asked them if they could export the pick tickets as CSV to us.
They are attempting to build a custom report with all the fields we need and export it into csv. Aside from them having issues exporting the report only to HTML... Im curious as to why they cant just export the pick ticket they have been sending us, which is in pdf format.
On top of that. Ive noticed via SuitesScript you could modify the on click event to generate a csv of the data. So when they click generate print ticket, why could it not easily generate a csv at that time?
Basically, due to me not havign hands on to their NetSuite system - or any insight to the inner working of NetSuite, im looking to the community to explain to me, what they are doing wrong - or what the best solution is to attain the goal of: exporting a pick ticket(im assuming this is based from the sales order in netsuite...) in a friendly format, allowing me to automate the order entry into my company's system.
I am sure Netsuite provides CSV option for exporting Reports. Please refer to this doc.
To export a report:
On the Reports page, click the name of the report you want to see.
In the footer of the report, select Export-CSV, Export-Microsoft® Word, Export-Microsoft® Excel, or Export-PDF.
One possible problem may be the Role Permissions. Please refer to this.
If your search results pages do not include an Export button, your account administrator may not have assigned you the Full level for the Perform Search permission. This level is required for exporting search results. The Export Lists permission also is required. See Permissions for Searches.
you should be able to export pdf. Please refer to https://github.com/eliseobeltran/NSProject/blob/314c5a03c4251cd06d451527103b7b85bb63f130/GOP/Innov.GOP.GeneratePDF.js
Once you create the saved search, NetSuite has the option to export the saved search as the CSV, MS EXCEL, or PDF. But it's a manual approach. You can do it automatically by writing a JavaScript script in the Suite Script.

Custom fields are not exported using Studio's exporting tool - SugarCRM

I'm experimenting an issue when I export customizations made by Studio tool, any custom fields are not exporting. I mean, when I load the package created in developer server to the production server, there are not custom fields in EditView, there are "native" fields only.
I'm using SugarCRM 6.1.6 (I know, it is an old version, but I can't update it right now)
Regards
Mauricio M.
You may just need to do a repair and rebuild - that's the likely quick fix. Alternatively, ensure that the package on the dev server exported both the custom fields and the custom layout metadata (i.e. the edit and detail view layouts). If it did, double check the permissions in custom/modules//metadata to ensure that the files were able to be uploaded and are readable by the web server.

How to export report files from Crystal Enterprise 10 server?

I am attempting to move some Crystal Reports from a legacy server (Crystal Enterprise 10) to their new home (SAP Business Objects XI v12). The former person in this position has multiple copies of reports everywhere with no versioning or documentation, so I decided to pull them all from the sources & start fresh.
In BO XI v12, to export a report file, I can select objects and choose "Send to --> File", which allows me to export the .rpt file.
However, in Crystal Enterprise 10, I can't discern any way to export the reports to a .rpt file. There doesn't seem to be anything in the CE 10 documentation referring to .rpt file export, either, so I'm thinking a philosophical shift occurred that I'm missing.
Any insight is appreciated; thanks!
To move objects and their instances (recurring or otherwise), you should use the Migration Wizard. It will move large numbers of objects between servers and preserve their IDs.
You will need to do a client (i.e. not the services) installation of BusinessObjects Enterprise (BOE) to get this tool.
If you are just trying to publish a report to BOE, use the File | Save as... feature and choose 'Enterprise' from the vertical list. The report's saved data will be discarded.
** edit **
To get a copy of the RPT w/ data to your workstation, there are a number of options:
schedule the report to a FTP location, to an 'unmanaged disk' (must be accessible by the Job Server), or email it to yourself
view the report "on demand' or a recently-scheduled instance, then use the Export button on the Viewer control to download the RPT w/ saved data. You will need to have the 'Download files associated with the report' right, however.
From the enterprise server you just need to render the report and export it from there. It should have an option to save it in crystal report format. Otherwise you can download it from the object explorer.
