Jaguar client for Flutter - flutter

Can someone tell me, when and why should I use Jaguar client
for flutter rather than using using HTTP package.
Just like we used to use Retrofit client for android instead of
Volley(By Google) because it was fast. Is this the case with Jaguar
too?
What are your thoughts on jaguar_retrofit package?
Can someone also post a demo for how to use Jaguar package?
The reason why I searched for an alternative is because writing code for HTTP request doesn't seem to be a good code. It's just all static data without any annotations (unlike Retrofit).

You can't use Jaguar in Flutter development because this is the HTTP server framework.
Retrofit is good because of its convenience. You can declare network calls in one place and divide them if you have many APIs.

How can we handle api response in both platform in ios and android in kotlin mutlplatform?

Hey I am new in the world of Kotlin Multiplatform mobile. I have experience in development of android field. I am trying to connect Android application and Ios application. I searched and see Ktor is the way to fetch data from server. In android we use Kotlin Sealed Classes for Handling API Responses example in your application and in ios side team use Understanding Swift closures and asynchronous request functions similar to these. I am little bit confused, How can I use this way in common module to use both platform because both platform have Interceptor and many more things. Do I need to write everything from scratch? or Is there any way we can use existing way. My both platforms application is huge project. I don't won't to replace the code. I want to start new api call throught KMM using Ktor. Any suggestion or project would be helpful for me. Thanks
You don't need to write anything from scratch. Basically you will need a separate Network Layer which will be in shared module. It will mainly consists of your request/response models and api call stuff. Here only you can define a sealed class which will provide you if the api is success or failure in your api callback and based on that you can handle your response.

If you want to use old Android Code into Kotlin-Multiplatofrm Project you need to do some steps
First Step : you should separate your code into business layer and presentation layer you can know about it by reading clean architecture Android
Second Step : we will put business layer into Shared Module then we will put presentation layer into ANDROID APP
Third Step : you should replace Retrofit Code with Ktor Code
Fourth Step : You should replace Room Code with SqlDlight Code
fifth Step : You Should Write your view in presentation layer with Compose not Xml
then application will be ready to use his business logic into ios
sixth Step : then you can write your swift code into IOS APP

Can dart script call GWT's RemoteServiceServlet

I have a Dart project want to reuse the existing GWT service (RemoteServiceServlet), any way can do this?
There is no special support for GWT-RPC included in Dart and there seem to be no 3rd-Party apps available that provide this functionality.

If you're feeling ambitious, you can write a Dart client that understand the GWT-RPC wire-protocol and use that to communicate. This is likely to be a great deal of work however.
I had a similar situation where I needed to access GWT-RPC Services from a non-GWT client (it was JavaScript, not Dart, but the same concept applies). Instead of accessing the GWT-RPC service directly, I ended up using jsonrpc4j to setup a JSON-RPC service alongside GWT-RPC. I was able to point jsonrpc4j at the GWT services to use, so there was no code duplication, just the extra code needed to wire up the JSON-RPC.
Then you will need a Dart JSON-RPC client, of which there are a few available: jsonrpc, jsonrpc2.
This all assumes that you have access to the GWT server and can setup the JSON-RPC service.

Firebase and Play Framework (Scala) is it possible?

Hey I love Play Framework Scala and I also am falling in love with Firebase. I was wondering though, I'm planning on building an app using AngularFire and I'm going to need to do some server-side logic/computation and make some server-side queries to Firebase. Is this possible to do with a Play Framework Scala setup? If so what is the recommended approach? If not, is it coming? If so when? I think it's so cool that the Firebase guys used Scala to build Firebase, but I'm bummed there is no Scala API to work with (that I can see). Maybe I could use the Java API somehow, but write still write the app in Scala? Any help would be great. Thanks!
Scala is highly interoperable with Java (compiles to the same bytecode) so you should be able to use the Java API straight-up without any issues.
While some libraries add Scala-specific wrappers to make an API more idiomatic and pleasant for a functional programming style and to smooth some rough edges, it's often not strictly necessary.
If for some reason you didn't want to use the Java client libs, you could also interface with the Firebase REST API via Play 2's very convenience and succinct web services library.
Should be no problem with either their Java SDK (when using Firebase on the backend) or the JavaScript SDK (when using it on the client). But you won't have native support for Scala or Play, especially no support for Iteratee/Enumeratee in Play.
The Java API looks quite good and seems to be event driven. So it should be no problem to integrate it in Play in a scalable way.

Is it technically possible, and does it even make sense to use Dart with Lift?

I like what I read about Lift, and I like the concept of Dart, but have little experience in both to be able to decide if thinking about using them in the same project is even making sense.
I want both writing structured client side code, and not having to worry about the OWASP top 10 as much
Can they work together? Does it make sense at all? Did anyone try?
I have integrated Dart with Lift using REST services together with Dart's XmlHTTPRequest and liked the result. I would say that any web framework that makes making RESTful services as easy as Lift does is a perfect match for Dart. On the other hand web frameworks such as JSF which requires components to take part of a advanced life cycle are probably not a good fit.
That being said, having the same language on the client and the server side is definitely a win, so when the Dart VM matures a bit more and starts to include RESTful functionality similar to what Express does for NodeJS then I would probably use that instead.
Already now baby steps are being taken for including HTTP support in Dart semilar to what Node provides on V8. Another important point for Dart is that it allows the browser and server to share rich objects, like what GWT does for Java, and this should further ease building advanced web applications with Dart.

Mini server implementation in Objective C

I'm trying to implement a little server service in order to upload files via web browser to my iOS app. An example of this feature is implemented in the following app:

I've been also looking for clues or some sample codes about this kind of implementation with no success, but maybe just don't know how to google the problem correctly.

Here is a wrapper to embed the moongoose http server in your iphone application. Another simple http server is here. The latter one is the one I used in my application, recently.
