Multiple Input (Window Method) in CTNKTextFromatReader for the DNN model - neural-network

I use the Brainscript CNTK for training a DNN model. I use CNTKTextFormatReader. The problem is I need future and past data in one input sequence. There are a lot of methods for LMSequenceReader and HTKMLF readers. For instance word context and windows can be used or LookupTableOrder. However, I cannot make it work for the CNTKTextFormatReader. So can you suggest any method for CNTKTextFromatReader?

How to extract an MSL model, modify the code, and use locally?

I am interested to replace my own PID-regulator models with MSL/Blocks/Continuous/LimPID. The problem is that this model restricts limitations of output signals to be parameters and thus do not allow time-varying limits, which I need to have.
Studying the code I understand that the output limitation is created by a block MSL/Blocks/Nonlinear/Limiter and I just want to change this to the block VariableLimiter.
I can imagine that you need to ensure that changes of output-limitations vary in a time-scale slower than the regulator in order to not excite unwanted behaviour of the controller. Still here is a class of problems where it would be very useful to allow this limits to vary slowly.
Thanks for the good input to my question and below a very simple example to refine my question. (The LimPID is more complicated and I come back to that).
Let us instead just modify the block Add to a local block in MyModel.
I copy the code from Modelica.Blocks.Math.Add and call it Addb in MyModel. Since here is a dependence of Interfaces.SI2SO I need to make an import before the extends-clause. This import I take from the ordinary general MSL package, instead of copying also that in to MyModel. Then I introduce a new parameter "bias" and modify the equation. The annotation may need some update as well but we do not bother with that now.

My added new question is whether it is enough to look up "extends-clauses" and other references to MSL and make the proper imports since the code is now local, or here are more aspects to think of? The LimPID code is rather complex with procedures for initialization etc so I just wonder if here is more to do than just bring in a number of import-clauses?
The models in Modelica Standard Library (MSL) should only be seen as exemplary models, not covering all possible applications. MSL is write protected and it is not possible to replace the limiter block in LimPID (and add max/min input connectors). Also, it wouldn't work out if you shared your simulation model with others, expecting their MSL to work like your modified MSL.
Personally, I have my own libraries of components where MSL models are inadequate. For example, I have PID controllers with variable limits, manual/automatic functions and many more functions which are needed in my applications.
Often, I create a copy of an MSL model, place it in the same package in my own library and make the necessary modifications and additions, e.g. MyLibrary.Blocks.Continuous.PID.

Initialize buildable Matlab Simulink Model with parameters from SQLite Database

Context: I have a huge Simulink Model that is going to be used for automated simulations on a Debian 10. Therefore it has to be built as standalone C-Code using the Matlab Coder. This code is then called to start the simulation.
What I need: I need to find a way to initialize my built model with ~500 parameters. These change with each simulation run and are stored in a SQLite file. The goal is to have parameters written to the database, then start the Model which reads the parameters from SQLite during initialization (presumably using the InitFcn Model Callback, although I'm open to alternatives).
What I have tried:
Direct SQL interface: I tried to use a direct Matlab-SQL interface such as JDBC (since I don't have access to the Database-toolbox) but those are not supported for Code generation.
Write a C-function that reads the SQLite file, then call the function during initialization in the InitFcn Callback using coder.ceval like this:

Problem here is that coder.wref is not supported in Matlab and therefore doesn't work in the InitFcn. (Please correct me if I'm wrong)
This only seems to work inside a Matlab-Function-Block:
Error evaluating 'InitFcn' callback of block_diagram 'Model'.
Caused by:
The coder.wref function is not supported in MATLAB.
So my problem with the second approach is, that I can't call the C-function during initialization.
Using a Matlab-function-Block to read the parameters isn't really an option, since I would have to route all the signals out which makes maintaining and further development of the model really hard. Also my suggestion is, that the model would not even run because the parameters are needed to initialize the model.
Questions:
Is there a way to make one of the above approaches work? If yes, how? Where is my mistake?
Is there another (simpler) option to pass the data as an array or struct to my model?

After having spent so much time on this issue, I would like to share my experience on this problem:
SQLite: This approach did not work out for me because the direct SQL-Matlab interfaces are not supported for code generation.
It is in fact possible to write a C-function, that reads from SQLite and call that function in a Matlab-function-block via coder.ceval wich allows to read in a signal during simulation. This works for code generation (Simulink coder) as well. However this will not work for initialization (see question).
So none of my original approaches ended up working.
Workaround: I ended up switching to an approach based on the Simulink RSIM-target wich generates code (also for Linux) and can be parametrized via a .mat file wich contains all the parameters. The .mat file can be modified to update parameters. This required some additional code wich automates this step. Also the model configuration for RSIM is a bit tricky.

Java application calling Anylogic (without export)

I am using AnyLogic University edition (cannot export AnyLogic model). I need my Java application to call an AnyLogic model (passing a few parameters), execute the model and receive the experiment results (from AnyLogic to my application). How can this be achieved?
Another question is, can the same be done from other programming languages (say, VB or Python)? What I mean is, calling an AnyLogic model from Python.
One approach would be to use a ProcessBuilder in Java to execute a shell command, that runs your anylogic model like so (assuming the model is in /c directory on windows):

There are several ways to then pass back results. The easiest may be to import an Excel file into Anylogic which stores your results, and then read it with a CSVReadWrite object in your Java application.
Not sure what is your objective behind calling the simulation dynamically using a java application. But one way to do it might be inside Anylogic itself. You can use the 'Custom Experiment' to write any reasonably small java source code and run the model (in iteration if needed) to collect results and possibly even saving the results to a csv file after each run. Matlab Variables in LSL script

I have Matlab code with variable (value varies frequently, say 10 times/Sec) and I want to use that variable's value in second life script i.e. LSL Script. I read somewhere to do this with HTTPRequest/Response methods, but my Matlab code is developed for desktop application. And I do not know much about LSL script.
I think you have quite a bit of learning ahead of you. First you need to choose an interface to the Matlab data. It supports access via many languages, including common Internet-friendly languages. You'll need to get that data to the Internet somehow so that it can communicate with a region server running. Since it supports access via external languages, I think you're in good shape there.
The main question in my mind is whether you are referring to dynamic data. Is the data changing, and you want to provide access to real-time updates in your LSL script? Or are you referring to a historical recording of data that was changing 10 times per second (in other words, a data file)?
If the data is static, and not too large, you could just convert it into a text format, include it in the Contents of the prim with the LSL script, and read that with the Notecard functions in LSL.
Alternatively, you could somehow push it to a file on a hosted website, then use llHTTPRequest from your LSL script to fetch it. You can also do this if it's changing infrequently, and occasional updates are sufficient.
However, if the data is constantly changing, and ideally if MatLab has a way of notifying a remote Internet webserver (for example, if it does HTTP PUTs to a URL with regular updates), or if you can write a script at your end to fetch the data from MatLab and send it to an LSL object, you could directly contact an object in-world via LSL's HTTP-In functionality. how to run the example of uima-text-segmenter?

I want to call the API of uima-text-segmenter https://code.google.com/p/uima-text-segmenter/source/browse/trunk/INSTALL?r=22 to run an example.
But I don`t know how to call the API...
the readme said,
With the DocumentAnalyzer, run the following descriptor
`desc/textSegmenter/wst-snowball-C99-JTextTilingAAE.xml` by taking the
uima-examples data as input.
Could anyone give me some code which could be run directly in main func for example?

Long answer:
The link describes how you would set up the application from within the Eclipse UIMA environment. This sort of set-up is typically targeted at subject matter specialists with little or no coding experience. It allows them to work (relatively fast) with UIMA in a declarative way: all data structures and analysis engines (computing blocks within UIMA) are declared in xml (with a GUI on top of it), after which the framework takes care of the rest. In this scenario, you would typically run a UIMA pipeline using a run configuration from within Eclipse (or the included UIMA pipeline runner application). Luckily, UIMA allows you to do exactly the same from code, but I would recommend using UIMAFit (http://uima.apache.org/d/uimafit-current/tools.uimafit.book.html#d5e137) for this purpose instead of of UIMA, as it bundles lots of useful things and coding shortcuts.
Short answer:
Using UIMAFit, you can call Factory methods that create CollectionReader (read input), AnalysisEngine (process input) and Consumer objects (write/do other stuff) from (third-party provided) XML files. Use these methods to construct your pipeline and the SimplePipeline class to run it. To extract the data you need, you would manipulate the CAS object (containing your data) in a Consumer object, possibly with a callback. You could also do this in a Analysis Engine object. I recommend using DKPro's FeaturePathFactory (https://code.google.com/p/dkpro-core-asl/source/browse/de.tudarmstadt.ukp.dkpro.core-asl/trunk/de.tudarmstadt.ukp.dkpro.core.api.featurepath-asl/src/main/java/de/tudarmstadt/ukp/dkpro/core/api/featurepath/FeaturePathFactory.java?spec=svn1811&r=1811) to quickly access the feature you are after.
